A bunch of lunatics.
Su Diandian suppressed her smile and lowered her eyes to look at the surging sea of clouds below.
She just took a restorative pill...
Jumping down won't kill you, but it will definitely speed up your recovery process...
Thinking of this, she plunged headfirst into the bright red sedan chair, falling into the clouds and mist, only to fall back onto the top of the chair.
Ahei was incredibly fast; he caught her before she could get there.
However, Su Diandian had anticipated this.
She couldn't possibly escape from the clutches of a Nascent Soul cultivator on her own.
Su Diandian planned to appeal to his emotions and reason: "Brother Hei, do you even know what freedom is?"
Ahei didn't react at all, but silently urged the angel skeleton to fly forward.
"Forget it, it's like talking to a brick wall." She sat back in the sedan chair in a fit of anger.
But I'm really unwilling to accept it.
She really wanted to leave this place.
As if sensing Su Diandian's intense unwillingness, the small green vine in her dantian suddenly began to grow wildly.
By the time she realized something was wrong, a vine had already burst out of her body and plunged into Ahei's head.
Su Diandian climbed out of the bridal sedan chair and watched as Ahei grabbed the iron chain in his hand, manipulating the angel skeleton to turn around and fly away from Xuancang Sect.
"Oh my, it's you, Brother Vine!" Su Diandian exclaimed joyfully as she stroked the vine.
The vines affectionately nuzzled her palm in response.
The Xuancang Sect's barrier is right in front of us; victory is in sight.
Suddenly, a tall figure blocked her way.
The man turned around, and there stood Jiang Ziheng, his brows furrowed.
Jiang Ziheng tossed her a wooden plaque, saying, "This can shield your aura. Only by carrying this out will the sect leader not notice anything unusual."
"Elder Jiang! I knew you were the most reliable one." Su Diandian wanted to give him a big hug.
Jiang Ziheng waved his hand dismissively, "Get out of the Xuancang Sect right now, seeing you gives me a headache."
After successfully leaving the Xuancang Sect, the vines manipulated Ahei to return to the Xuancang Sect to buy time.
Su Diandian felt incredibly relieved to have regained her freedom.
She boarded a small passenger boat and sailed southwest down the river.
Looking at the surging river, Su Diandian finally managed to find the time to reflect on her recent failures.
She was too eager for quick success, which is why she failed repeatedly.
The most important thing right now is to change our strategy, seize every opportunity to go home, and avoid unnecessary harm.
That damn system is completely unreliable.
They even told her to go find her ex-husband, but she ran into four in a row, none of whom were reliable.
The only one with the power to kill her, Qinglan, was like a fox that had cultivated for a thousand years; she didn't make a move against her at all.
After much deliberation, Su Diandian decided that the best course of action was to go to the Poison Doctor Valley and thoroughly investigate the secret technique of possession.
She slammed her hand on the side of the boat: "Yes! Learn from our mistakes and succeed on the first try!"
"Go easy on me, this little boat can't take your roughhousing." A lazy male voice came from the stern of the boat.
"I'm sorry, I got a little carried away." Su Diandian realized she had disturbed others, apologized, and turned to look at them.
The speaker was another passenger on the boat.
When she boarded the boat, the man was lying on the stern sunbathing, and he didn't make a sound the whole time.
"Excited because you successfully escaped your arranged marriage?" The other party's words were astonishing.
Su Diandian sensed something was wrong and rushed over in three steps.
Just then, the man sat up on the deck, and the two looked at each other. Su Diandian had an expression as if she had seen a ghost.
Her lips trembled, "Qing...Qinglan?"
"Tsk, how ugly." Qinglan smiled contemptuously and lay back down on the deck.
Su Diandian's first thought was to jump into the river and escape.
But as soon as she leaned over the edge of the boat, she was met with a large, dark face underwater.
"Ahei?"
Qinglan is here, and so is Ahei.
So, does that mean the boatman left on the boat is Sijihuang?
“Famine in all four seasons!” Su Diandian turned her face and shouted.
The boatman took off his hat, revealing a handsome face. "I'm here."
"Are you two like leeches, sticking to me like glue?" Su Diandian wandered around the deck aimlessly. "Is Zhenming here too?"
Where is he hiding? In the ship's cabin?
Sijihuang put his straw hat back on and said calmly, "He's not here."
"Phew..." Su Diandian breathed a sigh of relief. One less ex-husband means one less trouble.
She couldn't bear the way Zhenming looked at her with those tender, affectionate, and sorrowful eyes.
"Tell me, what are you two doing following me here?" Su Diandian asked irritably as she sat casually on the deck.
Sijihuang remained a man of few words, only saying, "I will follow you, kill you, and collect your corpse."
Qinglan said lazily, "To pass the time."
“Sure.” Su Diandian took out a shovel from her storage bag. “Come on, I’ll keep you company to pass the time.”
After saying that, she swung the shovel and smashed it down on Qinglan's head.
Before the shovel could even touch a hair on someone's head, it was flung away and fell into the river.
"So what if you're at the Nascent Soul stage?" Su Diandian stepped on his hem. "You can't even kill a Foundation Establishment stage nobody like me, nyah nyah nyah."
Qinglan propped her head up and squinted at her, "Killing you will take some effort, but it's not impossible."
"Then feel free to give it a try," Su Diandian said numbly.
Qinglan smiled mockingly, "But if you die, I'll be so bored. Keeping you around is like watching a monkey show."
Su Diandian choked up and sat back down on the deck in silence.
With a "whoosh," a feathered arrow, glowing with spiritual light, shot onto the ship and pierced right through Su Diandian's forehead.
Then came more arrows.
These arrows seemed to have eyes, all piercing her body.
Before long, she was shot by an arrow and forced to sit against the outside of the cabin.
Sijihuang and Qinglan acted as if they hadn't seen anything, continuing to row their boats and sleep as usual.
No, she's been riddled with bullets, can't these two see that?
