Chapter 27 Remember to Think of Me

Jiang Huai finally woke up gradually from Jiang Nuan's whispers, but he still held Jiang Nuan and was unwilling to let go.

Jiang Nuan had no choice but to carry her to the study.

Bai Yue heard the door lock being opened with a click, and she stood up hurriedly and looked towards the door.

Jiang Nuan hugged Jiang Huai, and Jiang Huai lay on Jiang Nuan's shoulder. Little Fu Yichen rubbed his eyes, his hands tightly grasping the hem of Jiang Nuan's clothes.

Bo Yue was so touched by the cuteness that her eyes lit up.

Suddenly as if remembering something, he immediately picked up the packaged pastries from the table and handed them to Jiang Nuan.

"This is a small pastry I prepared specially for you. I made it myself. I hope you like it."

Small pastries?

Jiang Huai heard it, Jiang Huai looked up, Jiang Huai turned his head, and Jiang Huai wanted to get out of Mommy's arms.

"Thank you, sister~"

Jiang Nuan watched helplessly as her daughter, who had just been clinging to her and was reluctant to let go, ran into Bo Yue's arms.

A greedy daughter.

Bai Yue's eyes curved as she smiled and said, "You're welcome. What's your name, little friend?"

"My name is Jiang Huai. Sister, you can call me Xiaobao because I am my mommy's baby."

Jiang Huai spoke in a baby voice.

"What about you?"

Bai Yue looked at Fu Yichen who was standing next to Jiang Nuan and asked.

"His name is Fu Yichen, and he's Xiaobao's older brother."

Fu Yichen nodded.

"Then Miss Bai, I'll leave these two little guys to you. I'll be out first."

"OK."

"You must study hard with the teacher~"

After Jiang Nuan finished instructing the two little ones, she returned to the study.

There were some documents of Fu Yanci piled on the desk in the study, and some of the photos on them made Jiang Nuan a little curious.

Jiang Nuan flipped through the photos, which showed lush trees, with mottled shadows passing over the quiet cottage.

That was where she once lived with her master, but later, she moved away with her master and Cheng Qian'an.

Jiang Nuan still remembers that it was a day that couldn't be more ordinary.

The spring was bright and the years were peaceful. The little girl was catching chickens and playing with birds in the yard, feeling very comfortable.

Cheng Qian'an sat aside and looked through his master's notes. From his outline, one could tell that he would grow up to be a disaster to the country and the people.

Suddenly, the master came back hurriedly from outside the door.

His clothes were already soaked with sweat, and even his hair was wet and stuck to his forehead.

He gasped, "Go, grab your most important things, and let's get out of here right now!"

Jiang Nuan didn't know what was going on. She had never seen her master like this before, and she was so scared that she started crying.

The master had no time to pay attention to her. Instead, he walked past her and Cheng Qian'an into the house and put all the important medical books and herbs into his backpack.

Cheng Qian'an's eyes darkened, and he picked up Jiang Nuan and ran into the room.

Cheng Qian'an comforted Jiang Nuan while running.

"Don't be afraid, Nuannuan, your brother is here."

Cheng Qi'an carried Jiang Nuan to the door of the room and said to her, "Now, can you put all your favorite things into the small backpack your brother gave you?"

"good."

The young Jiang Nuan didn't know what would happen next. She just packed up her beloved things while sobbing out of trust in her master and Cheng Qian'an.

"Let's go."

Just like that, Jiang Nuan watched helplessly as her master burned down the small house where she had lived since childhood.

Jiang Nuan held Cheng Qian'an's hand and walked on the rugged mountain path. When she turned around and looked, only a wisp of green smoke shone into her eyes.

Little Jiang Nuan had no idea why she had to leave. She only knew that her home was gone.

So she stopped and started crying unconsciously.

Cheng Qian'an said nothing, but silently picked up the crying Jiang Nuan and followed his father's steps closely.

He was used to it. After all, this was not the first time Cheng Qian'an moved with his father.

But now there is one more person, Jiang Nuan.

The wind rushed in from the window and closed the document in Jiang Nuan's hand.

An indelible sadness filled Jiang Nuan's brows as she thought of the Lu family's curse.

I don’t know how the master is doing now.

Jiang Nuan sighed lightly and put the document aside.

In addition to finding the Fu family's medicine storehouse as soon as possible to obtain the medicinal material - Bai Zhuoxin, the most urgent task is the Lu family's unknown curse.

......

"That's all for today. I'll come back tomorrow afternoon."

"Okay Miss Bai."

"You can call me Yueyue if you don't mind."

Bai Yue was a little uncomfortable with people calling her Miss Bai.

"Then don't call me you all the time. Just call me Jiang Nuan."

"good!"

The two smiled at each other.

Bai Yue bent down to say goodbye to Jiang Huai and Fu Yichen.

"Sister Yue, please come early tomorrow~"

“Okay!”

Bai Yue readily agreed, and the moment she turned around, she saw Fu Yanci who had just returned from get off work.

She nodded to Fu Yanci and left.

"Is this the private tutor you found?"

"Yeah, not bad."

"I have to go on a business trip for a while tomorrow. There is a project in Country M, and I can't be absent without reason."

Fu Yanci put on slippers and looked at Jiang Nuan with deep eyes, as if he wanted to engrave Jiang Nuan's appearance deeply in his mind.

Jiang Nuan was a little overwhelmed by this burning gaze.

"you......"

"I'll leave the house to you during this time."

"Um......"

Jiang Nuan swallowed unconsciously and muttered softly: "You don't have to tell me these things."
