Day 1.
Su Miaomiao waited until everyone went to work before getting up.
While I was washing up, there was a knock on the door.
Su Miaomiao wiped her face casually and walked towards the gate.
As soon as I opened the door, I saw Lu Xiuyuan standing outside with two bags in his hands.
"I'll come and bring you breakfast."
"You're really punctual." Su Miaomiao smiled.
"I came to knock on the door just to see that your parents had left." Lu Xiuyuan said slowly.
"You're still stalking outside?" Su Miaomiao was a little incredulous.
"It's not really stalking. They're all in a hurry to go to work. If I come to visit, they have to entertain me. Besides, I have no status or position here, so how can I always come to your house?" Lu Xiuyuan said, with a hint of grievance in his voice.
Su Miaomiao: “…”
"Lu Xiuyuan, why didn't I know before that you could behave like this?" Su Miaomiao raised her eyebrows.
"There's nothing I can do. It's my girlfriend's fault for not giving me a name." Lu Xiuyuan looked at Su Miaomiao with resentment and sighed.
He had dressed up deliberately today, shaved clean, and wore casual clothes. He stood as tall and straight as a pine tree.
Even his face looks a little paler than yesterday, but overall he still looks more like a tough guy.
Such a tough guy revealed a little woman's resentment at this moment. Su Miaomiao really didn't know what to say.
"When did I say I wouldn't give you a formal relationship? My family all knows that you are my partner now." Su Miaomiao smiled.
"But he's just an object." Lu Xiuyuan sighed lightly.
"Then what else do you want?"
"Can I have whatever I want?" Lu Xiuyuan's eyes suddenly lit up.
"Of course not." Su Miaomiao took the bag from Lu Xiuyuan's hand and turned to walk into the house.
After being rejected again, Lu Xiuyuan was not discouraged. Instead, he followed with a smile.
"What did you buy for breakfast?" Su Miaomiao took a look inside the bag and found that it was filled with a lot of things.
"These are all the breakfasts I loved to eat when I was a child, so I wanted to bring them all here for you to try and see if you like them." Lu Xiuyuan explained.
"You bought so much that I can't finish it." Su Miaomiao took out all the food in the bag, almost filling up the entire dining table.
"It's okay, eat as much as you can. I'll take care of the rest."
"You didn't have breakfast either?"
"Waiting to eat with you."
Su Miaomiao's smile deepened and she took a bowl of tofu pudding.
"By the way, did you go home yesterday?" Su Miaomiao took a bite and it tasted pretty good.
"Yeah." Lu Xiuyuan nodded.
"Didn't your mother ask whether you came home to have breakfast?"
"My mother doesn't even make breakfast herself."
Su Miaomiao raised her eyebrows and looked at him.
"She likes to sleep in in the mornings, so my dad does it most of the time."
Su Miaomiao smiled and nodded.
The two chatted while eating. Su Miaomiao tasted a few bites of everything and gave the rest to Lu Xiuyuan.
"This is definitely the most filling breakfast I've ever had." Su Miaomiao rubbed her slightly bulging belly.
