Chapter 111

When Esya saw the little girl being blown down, he immediately turned off the blow dryer in his hand, reached out and gently pulled her up, carefully checked her, and asked, "Are you okay?"

Wen Xiaoya didn't expect that she would be blown down by the hair dryer. She shook her head a little embarrassedly: "It's okay."

Esya didn't dare to use his hair dryer, so he picked up the towel and covered her little head with it, gently drying her hair. The little girl was also very obedient, and she didn't move, letting him dry her little head.

Her face was a little red, probably because she had just taken a shower. Her white shirt was loose on her body, like a child who had stolen adult clothes.

She had a lot of hair, so it wasn't easy to dry. Esya put down the towel after he had almost finished wiping her hair. It was getting late, so he was ready to take a shower.

"I'm going to take a shower. Can you wait a while before leaving?" Esya looked down at the little girl and whispered to her. Then he saw the little girl's confused but slightly wary eyes. He immediately explained, "It's warm here. You don't have heating in your room. You'll get sick."

The climate on the Ferocious Beast Planet has a large temperature difference between day and night, and it can be a bit cold at night. Esya knows that humans are not as strong as ferocious beasts, so he is particularly worried about the little girl getting sick.

Wen Xiaoya also knew that he was thinking about her, so she nodded and agreed: "Okay, then I'll wait for you to finish your shower."

Esya was still a little worried after thinking about it, so he just took a quick shower and came out immediately. After he came out, he subconsciously looked for Wen Xiaoya in his room.

Then he saw the little girl lying on his big bed, her whole body curled up in his shirt and asleep. She was not covered with a blanket. Esya went over and gently pulled his blanket over her.

The little girl was probably really sleepy and slept very soundly. Esya thought about it and finally decided to let her sleep here instead of sending her back to her room.

Esya wasn't used to going to bed so early. He picked up the book beside his bed and prepared to read for a while, but his attention was drawn to the little girl. The little girl was restless and kept kicking the quilt. Every time she kicked, Esya would immediately go over and cover her.

But after a while, the little girl started kicking the quilt again. Finally, Esya closed the book in his hand helplessly, walked to the bed, and looked down at the little girl sleeping soundly in the bed. Perhaps because she was a little hot, the little girl's face was flushed, with only her little head exposed.

Esya looked at her and reached out to gently poke her little face. Her face was soft and a little hot. Esya was worried that she was sick, so he reached out and touched her forehead. Fortunately, her forehead was still a normal temperature.

Esya looked down at her little face, unable to take his eyes off her. How could his little wife be so adorable? He reached out and tucked the quilt into his little wife again, saying softly, "Good night."

Thunderstorms on the planet of ferocious beasts are always particularly fierce, and the sound of thunderstorms gets louder and louder as the night progresses. Another loud thunderclap woke Wen Xiaoya completely from her sleep.

Seeing that this was not her room, Wen Xiaoya was completely stunned for a moment. Before she could react, a loud thunderclap was heard outside the window.

The rumbling sound was particularly terrifying on a quiet night.

What Wen Xiaoya fears most is thundering nights.

When she was six years old, she was left alone at home by her family. It rained heavily and thundered that night.

But her parents never came back. There was no one in the dark house, and she was very scared, but no one came out to protect her.

She felt hopeless and suffocated, huddled in a small corner of the room, protecting herself and spending this despairing night.

Perhaps because this scene was too familiar, Wen Xiaoya's mind was flooded with bad things. She shrank down a little sadly and covered her head with the quilt.

She can't hear, but it's okay, she's not afraid.

Esya's sleep was very light, perhaps because of the beast's sensitivity, and he felt that the little girl beside him had woken up. Esya opened his eyes and looked, and saw that the little girl beside him was curled up in the quilt. She seemed to be afraid, and her little body was trembling with fear.

Esya reached out and turned on the lamp beside his bed, and the whole room was illuminated by warm orange light.

"What's wrong? Did you have a nightmare?" Esya looked down at her and asked softly. After he finished speaking, he hesitated for a moment and slowly reached out to pull her quilt, revealing her little head.

The little girl's big eyes were red, and there were faint tears in them. Esya paused, feeling a little distressed. He carefully reached out and wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes: "It's okay, don't be afraid, I'm here."

Wen Xiaoya raised her head and looked at the evil dragon beside her. His gentle expression and cautious look simply warmed her heart. She raised her eyes and looked at him without blinking.

He just said that he was there.

After wiping the little girl's tears, Esya was about to raise his hand, but unexpectedly, his little girl suddenly stretched out her arms and hugged his wrist tightly.

The girl's body temperature was very hot, and Esya didn't dare to move, letting her hold his wrist. After a long time, his little wife finally recovered. Her beautiful eyes blinked slowly, but she still refused to let go of his wrist.

Esya gently stroked her soft hair with his other hand and whispered comfortingly, "It's okay."

Just as he finished speaking, there was another loud thunder outside, and Wen Xiaoya trembled in fear. Esya also noticed it, and he reached out and gently patted her back, silently accompanying her to comfort her.

Wen Xiaoya couldn't sleep, so Esya kept the light on to accompany her.

This wasn't the first time. Perhaps because of the trauma of her childhood, she couldn't sleep every night when there was thunder. But she hadn't told anyone about it, not even her parents. Because even if they knew, they wouldn't take it to heart.

"Are you hungry?" Esya lowered his head and looked at her quietly for a while, then asked.

After taking a bath, she fell asleep without eating anything. Ferocious beasts have large appetites, so they can eat one or two meals a day. But humans are different. They have smaller appetites, so they need to eat more than once a day.

His little wife didn't say anything, but just looked up at him. Esya reached out and gently touched her cute little nose, and whispered, "I'll make you some noodles, do you want to eat?"

Under his gaze, the little girl finally spoke. Her voice was a little nasal, but still sounded soft: "I want to eat."

"good."
