Chapter 33 Doctor
Everyone ran into the house, and the woman who had been cooking put out the fire with water and hurried in.

As soon as Ye Li heard the word "doctor", she couldn't take her eyes off him. She quickly got up and followed him.
Ye Li followed the white-haired old man into a spacious room, which was a ward with several patients lying inside.
The white-haired old man and his companions were examining a male patient whose right leg was severely injured. The lower leg had been amputated and wrapped in thick gauze. At this moment, he was tied to the bed with ropes, his whole body twitching and foaming at the mouth.
"Why is this happening? Wasn't he fine before?" The white-haired old man checked the male patient's condition in confusion.
"I don't know why it suddenly got worse?" said the woman.
The white-haired old man reached out to untie the gauze on the male patient's leg. The flesh at the wound on the male patient's leg had begun to rot and emitted a foul odor.
"Wasn't the wound healing well? Why did it suddenly get worse?"
The woman sobbed and said, "I don't know. I don't know why this happened."
The white-haired old man began to check whether the male patient had other wounds on his body. Finally, he found a black wound on the male patient's left arm. The wound had festered beyond recognition. It was obvious that it was caused by a zombie bite.
"He has been infected with the zombie virus and there is no hope!" The white-haired old man issued a critical illness notice: "We must put him to rest immediately!"
The white-haired old man then said to the young nurse beside him, "Go and call someone."
"Yes," the young nurse ran away with a nervous look on her face.
The male patient stretched out his hand to the doctor and begged desperately: "Save me, save me."
The white-haired old man said helplessly: "I'm sorry, I really can't do anything."
"No! Save me, I don't want to die, I don't want to die!" The male patient struggled in fear on the hospital bed, but the rope was tied very tightly and he couldn't break free at all.
The male patient's wife knelt on the ground and begged the white-haired old man, "Mr. Xu, please, save my husband, save him!"
"Alas..." Mr. Xu sighed heavily and said, "I am powerless."
Suddenly, the man let out a scream, then his whole body convulsed and he began foaming at the mouth. His face was distorted and veins bulged, which was very scary, as if something was eroding his brain. He pounded his brain hard, and gradually, he stopped moving!
