"This place is so big, where should we look for it?" asked Lin Jia, who was driving.
Ye Li was looking out the window when he heard Lin Jia's question and retracted his gaze. "Just drive straight ahead towards the tallest building in the city. Xixi will lead Qi Chen there to wait for us."
"Why?" Lin Jia asked curiously.
Ye Li looked outside again. The tallest building in the abandoned city was right in front of her. She smiled and said, "That's our old home."
"Hold on tight, I'm going to speed up." Lin Jia stepped on the accelerator, the car rolled over the weeds on the ground and whizzed towards the city center.
When they were almost at the building, Lin Jia honked the horn and drove all the way to the gate of the tallest building.
At the gate, two figures, one big and one small, stood at the door and looked over here. They were Xixi and Qichen.
As soon as Lin Jia stopped the car, Ye Li couldn't wait to get out and ran towards Xixi, "Xixi!"
"Mom." Xixi also shouted, jumping towards Ye Li and throwing herself into Ye Li's arms.
Ye Li immediately picked up Xixi and kept kissing her head and cheeks. "Mommy missed you so much."
"Me too." Xixi responded.
Xiao Xun led Xiao Mu and his group out of the car. Qi Chen slowly walked towards Ye Li and his group from the main gate. He asked loudly, "Have you brought the detector?"
Xiao Xun clenched his fists until they cracked. He strode towards Qi Chen, his eyes fixed on him, filled with rage. This bastard! How dare he hold his daughter hostage!
"Bang!" Qi Chen fell to the ground.
Xiao Xun stopped and looked at Ye Li who was punching and kicking Qi Chen with a smile, and said with relief in his heart: You deserve it!
