Chapter 116 Trusting the Wrong Person
In an abandoned two-story house in the forest.
Ye Li was tidying up the broken bed in the room, sweeping away the debris and then spreading a thick blanket on it.
"Xiaomu, Xixi, come here," Ye Li carried his son and daughter, who had taken off their shoes, to the bed and found a thick piece of clothing to use as a pillow for them.
Ye Li then lay down on the bed with her clothes on to rest. After a whole day's journey and her injuries, she was extremely tired.
Yanque found a broken mat from somewhere, threw it on the ground, gathered some thick clothes around him, and lay down on the sleeping mat.
This is where they will sleep tonight.

The two children responded softly and fell asleep peacefully hugging the blanket.
Ye Li was also tired. He lay on the hard bed and began to feel sleepy.
But after all, they were outside, not a safe house, so she was a little worried, so she forced herself to stay awake and not fall asleep completely.
Yanque seemed very tired too. She lay down on the torn mat and fell asleep quickly without saying anything.
"Knock knock..." There were footsteps coming up the stairs.

"You haven't slept yet," Shi Qi said comfortingly when he saw Ye Li was still asleep, "Your injuries are not light, so get some rest and sleep. We will take turns guarding downstairs, and you'll be fine."

Shi Qi smiled and said, "You're welcome. We are a family now and we should help each other."
After Shi Qi finished speaking, he turned around and went downstairs.
Ye Li smiled and lay down. It turned out that this was the sense of security given by others. This was the first time Ye Li had such a feeling since the end of the world.
Her mind suddenly became quiet, she stopped thinking so much, and fell asleep unknowingly.
