The women in the cages picked up the children who were crying out of fear and comforted them carefully.
Qingzi glared at his leader, then walked to the driver's seat of the truck, took out a bucket, and then filled it with water on the side of the car for the women and children in the cage to drink.
"Who told you to give them water?" The team leader came over and knocked the bucket out of Qingzi's hand. He roared, "We still have such a long way to go. If they drink up all our water, what will we drink?"
Qingzi said, "The astronauts want us to bring back the living, not the dead. What if we don't give them water? What if they become dehydrated? There are so many rivers and lakes along the way. Don't we know how to store water?"
"The water outside is not clean. Who knows if there are zombie corpses soaking in the river!" said the team leader.
