Chapter 38: Ruthless and Talkative
Qi Yuanchuan was a ruthless man who didn't talk much. He came up and knocked Ye Li unconscious with a palm.
The three team members were stunned.
Their captain is so cruel!

"What are you all standing there for? Why don't you hurry up and carry the person in?"
"Yes," the three team members hurriedly carried Ye Li into the house, one by one, and found a clean place to put Ye Li down.
Qi Yuanchuan inspected the area around the residence, then walked into the house and said, "Come with me to set up the defenses. As for you two, stay and help clean up the house."
"Yes." The three team members followed orders.
The houses had been abandoned for a long time and were covered with dust and cobwebs.
After a simple cleaning, it can finally be used as a temporary shelter.
When Ye Li woke up, it was already dark.
A fire was lit in the house. Qi Yuanchuan and his teammates gathered around the fire, each lying on a worn mat to rest. Qi Yuanchuan, in particular, was holding a book and reading it towards the firelight.
Ye Li sat up angrily, picked up her things, and stood up to walk out of the house.
"Stop!" Qi Yuanchuan put down the book in his hand and ordered.
It would be strange if Ye Li paid attention to him!
She walked straight to the door.
"Stop her!"
Qi Yuanchuan's three team members quickly stood up and blocked the door.
"Miss Ye, it's very dangerous outside, you should stay."
"Get out of the way!"
"Ms. Ye, don't do this. It's too dark outside. It's really dangerous if you go out!"
"I said get out of the way!" Ye Li pushed Team A who was blocking her hard and walked out of the house.
"Captain!" The three team members looked at Qi Yuanchuan in embarrassment.
Qi Yuanchuan dropped the book in his hand, stood up and chased after him.
Outside the house, Qi Yuanchuan grabbed Ye Li's arm. The harder Ye Li struggled, the tighter he held it.
“Enough is enough!”
"What do you mean by 'stop when enough is enough'? Do you think I'm being unreasonable?" Ye Li said angrily, wiping away the tears that were streaming down her face. "You don't have children, so how can you understand how I feel? When I left, I told Xiaomu I'd be back soon, but it was already dark, and I still hadn't gone back. I can't imagine how scared they must be."
"I'm sorry," Qi Yuanchuan said. "Although I don't have children, based on my years of experience, you're courting death if you go out like this."
"Let me go first!" Ye Li used all her strength and finally shook off Qi Yuanchuan's hand. She rubbed her aching wrist, her eyes full of resentment.
What Qi Yuanchuan said is true!
She was too worried and lost her mind for a moment. If she encountered any danger when she went out, Xiaomu and Xixi would be in real trouble.
She should have more confidence in the safe house. After all, she has lived there for four years and has always been very safe.
"Captain," Qi Yuanchuan's team members ABC ran out.
Team member A advised, "Miss Ye, you'd better be obedient. If you argue with our captain, nothing good will come of it."
"Miss Ye, don't worry. We will set off for the city as soon as it gets light."
