Chapter 30: No appetite for anything

Chapter 30: No appetite for anything

Ye Li was touched by her daughter's cuteness and a smile appeared on her face. She put down the cloth used for projecting the screen, facing the head of the bed, then turned on the computer and played cartoons for her daughter Xixi.

Fortunately, we have this computer, otherwise the days are long and how could the two children endure?

While her daughter was watching cartoons attentively, Ye Li went to the kitchen to make grape tarts and heated up the soup cooked at noon. At this time, the sky outside was gradually getting dark, and the sunset glow filled the sky. Tomorrow should be another sunny day.

Ye Li made the egg tarts, and his son Xiao Mu was awakened by the smell.

Although the two children had no appetite, they ate one each and drank half a cup of soy milk.

After eating, he didn't vomit, and instead watched cartoons with Ye Li for a long time with great interest.

Ye Li naively thought that this was a process of improvement!

Unexpectedly, in the middle of the night, Xiaomu and Xixi vomited again, and had a fever and was talking incoherently. Ye Li was anxious to give them cold compresses to cool them down, clean up the vomit on their bodies and beds, and stay by their side all night to observe their conditions. It was not until dawn that the two children got a little better.

Ye Li finally couldn't hold back any longer and ran to the balcony crying. She looked at the slowly rising sun and prayed in her heart that her two children would get better soon!

After crying, her emotions calmed down. Ye Li went to the kitchen to make breakfast. She had been tossing and turning all night and was very hungry. Thinking that her daughter and son had vomited at night, she cooked some millet porridge for them, kept it warm over a low fire, and waited for them to wake up and eat it.

But after the two children woke up, no matter what Ye Li said, they couldn't eat.

Ye Li changed the recipes and made all kinds of delicious food for them.

"Mom, I really don't want to eat at all. I don't want to eat it," refused Xixi, the always sensible and obedient daughter.

His son Xiaomu turned his head away, closed his mouth tightly, and said he would not eat anything.

Ye Li sighed and had to give up.

"Then Mommy will keep these warm first. When you want to eat them, Mommy will give them to you, okay?"

"Well, thank you, Mom," said daughter Xixi, and son Xiaomu's face looked a little better.

The two children refused to eat, so they lay down on the bed and fell asleep in a short while.

In the kitchen, Ye Li tasted the sweet potato balls she made. They tasted great, sweet and delicious, but Xiao Mu and Xixi didn't want to eat them.

The child didn't want to eat, and it was no use for Ye Li to force him. She took a bowl, put some rice in it, and went to the balcony to feed the chickens.

"Cluck, cluck, cluck..." The remaining chickens gathered around and pecked at the rice happily.

Ye Li poured all the rice in the bowl onto the ground. She walked to the viewing platform, sat down on a wooden bench, and looked at the sea in the distance. The sea seemed quite far away, probably more than 20 kilometers away. It was only because the building she was in was tall that she could see the sea. If she moved to a smaller building, she would definitely not be able to see that far.

Now most people have turned into zombies, with only a small number of people left alive. Various natural resources are no longer plundered by humans and are gradually returning to their original state.

Then there should be fish and aquatic products in the sea, right?

Xiaomu and Xixi couldn't eat anything. She wondered if she could go to the sea to catch fish or some other seafood so that they could eat something fresh. Maybe they would be able to eat something.

After all, children love seafood porridge and the like.

Ye Li went to the bedside and woke up her son Xiao Mu: "Xiao Mu, Mommy has to go out for a while. This time she'll be gone for a while. You have to take good care of your sister at home, okay?"

"Mom, I will protect my sister," Xiaomu nodded seriously.
