Chapter 115 What happened?
The curtain is a layer of white gauze, light and fluttering.
It comes in, one after another.
She was half asleep and half awake when she heard someone knocking on the door.
Then there were sparse footsteps coming from the side.
Jin Huainian went over to open the door, his brows and eyes relaxed. The room was not big, with only a cabinet and a bed.
Mom could see the whole thing with just a glance inside.
Han Siti was still lying on the bed. When she felt the movement, she frowned.
"Dandan hasn't woken up yet. It's almost time for dinner, let's wake her up." Mom looked away and asked.
Jin Huainian's voice was a little hoarse: "Okay."
After his mother left, Jin Huainian pulled the quilt back. The air conditioner was turned on in the room, but it wasn't cold. Han Siti didn't feel it at all.
"Let's go downstairs for dinner." Seeing that she still refused to get up, Jin Huainian leaned over and tried to pick her up.
Han Siti's eyelashes trembled as she pushed him.
"I understand. You go and clean up first, I'll be there later." Han Siti said, then pulled the quilt over her head.
Jin Huainian lowered his head and looked for a few seconds before going out to wash up.
Han Siti slept for another ten minutes.
Mom came over again, patted the quilt, and said in a loud voice: "I've been calling you for a long time, hurry up and get up, don't dawdle."
"I understand." Han Siti got up from the bed reluctantly, her hair a little messy.
While helping her with her hair, her mother said, "An Ning and the others have gone downstairs, hurry up."
"Okay, Mom."
Han Siti put on her shoes, rubbed her eyes, and tidied up for a while before going downstairs with her mother.
Jin Huainian was sitting on a chair outside the house, with his head down, holding a branch in his hand and fiddling with it on the ground.
Han Siti walked closer and found that he was playing with ants.
She squatted beside Jin Huainian's legs.
The lights outside were bright and everything around was clear. Han Siti poked his hand.
"Did you do that on purpose?" she asked.
Jin Huainian glanced at her and raised his eyebrows: "What is it?"
Han Siti raised her head and said, "My mother came up here and didn't even tell me."
Jin Huainian threw away the branch and pinched her chin: "Can I stop your mother?"
There was no one outside, so Han Siti stood up and sat astride his legs.
Han Siti looked at him.
Jin Huainian felt a little uncomfortable at this time.
"They might see us later." He looked her in the eye, with a hint of red at the corners of his eyes, and his breath conveyed warmth.
Han Siti curled her lips and smiled: "Oh."
Jin Huainian took her hand and said, "Let's go in."
Han Siti leaned against him, smiling, her eyes bright and clear: "No, wait a little longer."
The moment she finished speaking, her grandmother's voice came: "Dandan, Huai Nian, come in and eat."
Jin Huainian's eyebrows twitched.
Grandma just stuck her head out and saw the intimate scene between the two. Han Siti's body stiffened and she quickly got off his legs.
By the way, he took Jin Huainian's hand.
"Okay, I'll be right there." Han Siti blushed completely.
Jin Huainian whispered in her ear: "What did I say?"
Han Siti glared at him.
Grandma saw the scene clearly.
Seeing how good their relationship is, I feel happy from the bottom of my heart.
The two of them went in and everyone sat around them.
"Everyone, please feel free to eat and drink well," said my aunt.
Dad poured himself another glass of wine, and Mom gave him a sideways glance: "You should drink some."
"I won't drink any more after I finish this one." Dad said, then turned to Jin Huainian and said, "Huai Nian, do you want to drink something?"
Since his father-in-law has spoken, how can Jin Huainian not listen?
He nodded, and his father filled his glass with wine.
"Where's Xiao Yang?"
Yang Xiao also handed over the wine glass.
The alcohol content of this wine was high. After Jin Huainian drank a glass, his face and neck turned red.
Han Siti couldn't help but put her hand on his face. She smiled and said, "You're not drunk, are you? It's only one glass."
Jin Huainian's eyes were dark, with no signs of collapse.
He shook his head gently, and his hair hung slightly fluffy on his forehead. Han Siti just thought he was so well-behaved.
"Eat more, you all look so thin." Grandma said, "Dandan, pick some food for Huai Nian, and An Ning, you too."
Han Siti pursed her lips and said, "Grandma, he can't eat so much."
Jin Huaian stared at her and said softly, "I can eat it."
"?"
Han Siti reluctantly picked up a piece of meat for him.
"Dandan, how long have you been together and married?" her aunt suddenly asked her.
Han Siti and Jin Huainian looked at each other, and she said, "Three or four months? I forgot too."
Auntie looked at Du Anning again: "What do you think? We've been dating for a year now, it's time to make some plans."
Du Anning sighed: "I'll listen to you."
"Okay, what did your parents say?"
Yang Xiao said: "Auntie, I mentioned our situation to my parents a few days ago, and they said that if they have time, they will come over in the next few days."
After hearing this, my aunt frowned and said, "They are coming? You should have told us earlier so we could prepare."
Du Anning: "Mom, they said there was a time, but there's no definite information right now, so I told him not to tell anyone."
My aunt was silent for a few seconds.
"Okay then, you can ask again tonight."
Apart from this incident, the meal was quite enjoyable.
After dinner, Han Siti took Jin Huainian for a walk outside. When they walked to the next door, the door was open and the puppy inside suddenly jumped out.
"Pipi, don't run outside." Then the mother-in-law next door chased out.
She was stunned when she saw the two of them: "Dandan, did you just come back?"
Han Siti raised her head and smiled, "Yeah, I came back today."
The mother-in-law saw and glanced at the man next to her.
"This is……"
Jin Huainian squeezed her hand calmly, his figure gradually blending into the night, making his face look even colder and paler.
"My husband." Han Siti replied obediently.
Jin Huainian took the opportunity to say hello.
Grandma smiled and said, "Come in and sit down."
"No, mother-in-law, we'll just take a walk and go back."
"Then come back next time when you have time."
"good."
My mother-in-law brought the puppy into the house.
She held his hand and continued walking forward.
The country roads are decorated with lights and everyone is immersed in the joy of the Spring Festival.
"Let's walk for a while longer. I slept too much in the afternoon and now I'm not sleepy at all." Han Siti stuck to him as he walked.
"Okay." Jin Huainian said.
"It's been a long time since we took a walk together like this." Han Siti stopped, faced him, and started to act coquettishly.
Jin Huainian was in a lazy posture with a smile in his eyes. He was relaxed in his expression and seemed to enjoy her coquettishness.
An hour later, they returned.
Grandma, aunt, parents, sat together and chatted.
Du Anning and Yang Xiao were playing with sparklers in the yard and didn't notice them.
The winter night is cold but not biting. The moon hangs in the sky, and from time to time, it blooms together with fireworks.
Han Siti was wearing clothes and a hat, and was very close to Jin Huainian.
