Chapter 16: Get Out
Jin Huainian is working overtime today, so as his secretary, she naturally cannot leave.
The lights in the office area are still bright.
She half-closed her eyes and glanced at the office opposite from time to time.
Finally, when her shaking head was about to touch the table, the door opened.
She took a deep breath, and there was a hint of mist in her eyes, which made her little face look particularly delicate.
"Mr. Jin, are you off work?" Han Siti stood up from his workstation with a smile on his face.
The top floor was quiet and deserted, so her voice was really loud.
Jin Huaian glanced at him calmly and walked forward: "Are you awake?"
Han Siti picked up her phone and caught up with him, and the two of them and Assistant Xu walked into the elevator.
She was thinking about the limited edition bag.
The tired mood was swept away, and what was welcomed was a cheerful tone.
"Mr. Jin, are you going on a date later?" Han Siti couldn't hide her smile, but she was afraid that the other party would misunderstand something, so she quickly said, "What I mean is, if you want to go on a date, I can just go to Yijiangyue to get my bag myself."
She touched her hair and couldn't help but think that it was rare to find a canary as considerate as herself.
"Are you so generous now?" Jin Huainian couldn't help laughing.
Han Siti raised her chin and asked, "When have I ever been ungenerous?"
"Besides, people are still waiting for your wedding with Sister Wen Mu."
Jin Huainian's expression turned colder, and he reached out to pinch her cheek: "I think you don't want the bag anymore."
Han Siti pretended to lean into his arms.
"I want it! You promised me!"
The man pushed her out: "Stand still."
Assistant Xu leaned towards the corner of the elevator with a bit of embarrassment.
It was time to get off work, and Han Siti couldn't be obedient. She hugged the other person's thin waist and refused to let go.
Jin Huainian was always helpless with her at times like this.
"Be good." He sighed softly: "Are you embarrassed about others watching?"
Han Siti shook her head in his arms: "I'm thick-skinned."
Jin Huainian lowered his eyes and touched her face randomly: "Yeah, it's really thick."
Assistant Xu has seen many ways of getting along between the two.
A few years ago, when she was still a freshman in college, he had heard a little about the girl that Mr. Jin was keeping, but had never seen her. In his imagination and subconscious, he thought that she should be gentle and considerate, well-educated and well-mannered, and at least be able to provide emotional value to Mr. Jin when he was busy.
However, the reality is often the opposite.
That day, because he had to go on a business trip in the afternoon, he followed Mr. Jin to the school to pick up Miss Han for lunch.
This was the first time he saw her. The girl was even more beautiful than he had imagined. She was standing under the shade of a tree, with a graceful and slender neck and shoulders, and a beautiful face that gradually became clear in his eyes.
Like a cluster of falling peach blossoms, it is incomparable.
Seeing the car approaching, she frowned with a bad expression, as if she was angry. Soon the girl confirmed his thoughts.
Han Siti sat here with her arms folded across her chest, and her voice was pleasant.
"I've been waiting for you for ten minutes!" she said angrily.
Assistant Xu couldn't help but be stunned. This personality was completely different from what he had imagined.
That day, Mr. Jin coaxed her for half an hour.
He was amazed.
—
Han Siti arrived at Yijiangyue, on the 16th floor, a large flat with one apartment per elevator.
The Jin family's land was left to several households back then.
She couldn't wait to open the door and took off her shoes crookedly.
She ran to the cloakroom wearing the pair of rabbit slippers, and Jin Huainian followed behind her to pick up the bag and coat she had thrown away.
After a while, she came out holding a luxury bag.
His eyes were bright and his face was full of joy.
"I love you so much." She bent down and kissed the man sitting on the sofa.
Jin Huainian stared at her, as if he was already used to it.
Han Siti sat cross-legged in front of the coffee table with her butt resting on the carpet, so she wasn't cold at all.
She took out her phone, found a good angle, took a few photos and posted them on WeChat Moments.
The copy reads: I'm happy even if I have to work overtime.
Jin Yi is online 24 hours a day, and his comments are quick: "Limited edition? I haven't even bought one yet. Tell me! Who bought it for you?"
Han Siti felt a little guilty and did not reply to her.
She put down her phone, carried her bag, and walked around in front of the man like a butterfly.
"Brother, you are so nice." She flattered.
Jin Huainian pulled her onto his lap and chuckled, "Only now is she considered obedient."
Han Siti curled her lips: "Hate it, I've always been very good, okay."
"Really?" He raised his eyebrows, his tone clearly showing disbelief.
"Of course, I am your sweet little baby." Han Siti said.
"Less poverty."
After he finished speaking, the phone rang.
As luck would have it, Han Siti caught a glimpse of the note, which was from Wen Mu.
Jin Huainian held her waist to prevent her from moving, and took the phone with one hand.
Han Siti lay on his shoulder and heard it clearly.
It was probably about whether we had time today and preparing for a date.
Jin Huainian rubbed the soft flesh on her waist with his fingertips through her clothes, but his expression was calm and he said seriously that he was busy.
Han Siti suddenly looked up and kissed him on the lips.
The smile is as cunning as a fox.
Jin Huainian looked at her with deep eyes, patted her butt and told her to be quiet.
Han Siti snorted softly.
Unexpectedly, it was transmitted to the other end of the phone and reached Wen Mu's ears.
The female voice suddenly became alert: "Huai Nian, is there anyone over there?"
Jin Huainian said indifferently: "Is there something wrong?"
"You are still in the company, right? Then I won't bother you anymore." Wen Mu was upset and tried to save face.
Hang up the phone.
Han Siti lost her momentum and started to act coquettishly: "Brother, I love you."
"Do you need to tell me you love me?" Jin Huainian lifted her up by the hips and walked into the room.
He slowly added, "Love is meant to be done."
Han Siti shook her legs: "I want to go home."
"Why go home? Lie down." Jin Huainian put her on the bed and chuckled.
Han Siti stretched out her legs and struggled to prevent him from coming over, and almost kicked the man somewhere.
Jin Huainian grabbed her ankle and gently pulled her forward.
"Is that how you treat me?"
Han Siti covered her face with her hands: "I was wrong. I really need to go home, otherwise my mother will call."
Jin Huainian was too lazy to listen to her nonsense, so he picked up the pillow and placed it under her waist.
"Save your energy for shouting later."
Beneath the halo, there are shadows.
It really proves the saying: No one will come to save you even if you scream at the top of your lungs.
—
Early the next morning.
Han Siti was soundly asleep and was woken up by Jin Huainian.
She was a little grumpy when she woke up, so she turned around and buried herself in the quilt, muttering, "Get out."
Jin Huainian didn't indulge him: "Three minutes."
Han Siti's sleepiness faded a little, but she didn't move: "I'm so sleepy, please let me sleep for a while."
"Five minutes. I want to see you out of the room."
Jin Huainian seemed to have informed someone and then left.
Han Siti didn't dare to stay in bed any longer. She got up, tidied herself up for a while, and went out.
The hourly worker came over and prepared breakfast.
Han Siti sat obediently next to Jin Huainian, chewing corn, her eyes blinking, looking dazed, and soon she fell into the man's arms.
