Chapter 17: Drunk
"I'm so sleepy, so sleepy." Han Siti used her usual coquettish tactics: "Boss Jin, can you give your good employees a holiday?"
Jin Huainian chuckled and put his hand on her forehead: "If you don't get enough sleep, ask for leave. The company will not be able to open yet."
"I'm different from them." said Han Siti.
"What's the difference?" Jin Huainian closed his eyes and listened quietly to her nonsense.
"I'm your most caring employee." Han Siti poked his heart with her finger: "The kind that connects heart to heart."
"Stop talking nonsense."
"I mean it sincerely, okay?"
Jin Huainian touched her chin and said, "Didn't you say yesterday that you were happy to work overtime? Why did you change your mind today?"
Han Siti straightened up, her eyelashes long and curled: "Have you seen my circle of friends?"
"I post two or three messages a day, and it's hard not to see them."
Han Siti had nothing to say and finished her breakfast in silence.
*
Acting coquettishly didn't work, Han Siti still went to work. Until the evening, Jin Yi asked her to go to the bar, and she agreed without thinking.
The two met at the door of the bar.
"Aren't you under house arrest?" Han Siti only remembered her birthday party a few days ago when she saw Ren Ren.
Jin Yi smiled happily: "He ran away secretly."
"Aren't you afraid of being discovered?" Han Siti said.
"Wen Mu came to my house for dinner today. Everyone's eyes were on her and my brother, so how could they notice me?"
Han Siti nodded. No wonder he got off work early today. This made sense.
"I heard that Xie Xing'an works here." Jin Yi came closer again, his expression excited.
Han Siti's eyes widened: "You haven't given up yet?"
Jin Yi blinked embarrassedly: "You also know that I will not turn back until I hit the wall."
“…………”
What else could Han Siti say?
They entered through the door, walked through a bright corridor, and stood inside. As the light shone on them, they seemed to be in another world.
"What does he do in there? Waiter?" Han Siti asked in a loud voice as the bar music shook her eardrums.
Jin Yi saw the man in the bar at a glance. He had a slender back and cold eyes. Several women wanted to add him on WeChat, but he rejected them one by one.
She immediately breathed a sigh of relief.
"Bartender."
Jin Yi walked over, and a slender figure fell from the bar.
Han Siti didn't want to disturb them, so she went to the other side.
The lights were dim, there was a man and a woman, and the DJ on the stage stopped for some reason, replaced by soft and upbeat music.
Everything turns into the most primitive ambiguity.
"Why are you here?" Xie Xing'an paused while wiping the wine glass, his eyes flashed slightly, and he spoke first.
Jin Yi sat down, crossed his legs, and raised his voice: "Why can't I come? I invested in this bar."
Xie Xing'an didn't show much emotion, as if he already knew her style of doing things.
"What would you like to drink?"
Jin Yi pursed her lips, held her chin and looked at him: "I'll drink anything you mix."
The man stretched out his long, cold white arms, shaking the bottle in his hand, and the glasses made crisp sounds when they collided intentionally.
Tipsy, moist, out of control.
"This one's called First Love, and it's low in alcohol." Xie Xing'an placed the glass in front of her: "Drink it and go home quickly."
First love? Jin Yi tapped the cup with his finger, his eyes dull.
"Why? I'm here to spend money." She drank a glass of wine.
Xie Xingan sighed in his heart.
"Add more to my drink." The eldest lady's temper flared up: "I won't go home until I'm drunk today."
"Do your family know that you're drinking in a bar so late?" Xie Xing'an remained indifferent.
Jin Yi's shoulders and neck relaxed, and he lost his confidence.
Xie Xingan mixed another cup and pushed it in front of her: "One last one, drink it and go back."
"Can you take me home? I drank some wine and my head feels dizzy now." She was silent for a moment before replying.
"I'm still at work." Xie Xing'an said helplessly.
"It's okay, I can wait for you." She hesitated, "However long it takes."
"Twelve o'clock, you can wait if you want."
"I'll wait."
Without much hesitation, Jin Yi finished speaking and went to the other side to find Han Siti.
A few meters away, mixed in the crowd and accompanied by the music, I saw a drunk girl sitting in a booth inside.
"We haven't seen each other for a while. You've drunk so much." Jin Yi hurried over and snatched the wine glass from her hand.
Han Siti frowned in dissatisfaction.
"I can still drink, give it to me." She spread out her hands and tried to grab it.
Jin Yi clicked his tongue twice, feeling a little annoyed that he hadn't kept an eye on it.
"If you go home like this, your mother will definitely scold you. How about I open a hotel? No, no, I don't feel comfortable leaving you alone."
"Forget it, let's go back to my house."
Han Siti leaned back in the chair, seemed to be asleep, her cheeks flushed and her breathing even.
At twelve o'clock, when Xie Xing'an got off work, the two of them helped the drunk Han Siti to the passenger seat.
The moonlight was bright, and his shadow fell on his shoulder. Jin Yi's heart beat faster, and the hand on his knee somehow held the man next to him.
Xie Xing'an's body was obviously stiff, and it was unknown how long it took before he pried her fingers apart.
Even a cat would be angry.
Jin Yi ignored him along the way.
Silence.
The security guard knew Jin Yi, so the taxi could drive to the door of Jin's house.
Jin Yi helped Han Siti down and said to Xie Xingan indifferently, "Thank you for today. I'm going home."
Xie Xingan moved his fingers, his eyes were incomprehensible.
"Can you do this alone?"
"I can do it myself."
"good."
Xie Xingan got back into the car and disappeared into the night. Jin Yi listened to the sound of the car getting smaller and smaller, and his eyes suddenly felt sore.
Since he had sneaked out in the first place, Jin Yi had no way of asking the servants to come out to help.
The maid was resting at this time. She helped Han Siti to the sofa in the side hall and took a deep breath.
"Wake up, can you still walk?"
Han Siti lay there lazily, neither moving nor speaking.
Before she could speak again, she glanced and saw a figure standing at the stairs, which scared her.
"Brother, you haven't slept yet?" Jin Yi reacted and felt a little guilty.
Jin Huainian walked closer, first glanced at the person sitting on the sofa, and then said, "Where did you go crazy?"
"I went out for a walk for a while." Jin Yi lacked confidence.
"You smell of alcohol, why don't you go wash it off."
After saying that, Jin Yi ran upstairs as fast as if his feet were greased.
Han Siti felt dizzy and saw double when he saw people.
The man's stern face swayed in front of her, and she opened her eyes.
"What a coincidence, Mr. Jin, are you here for a drink too?" She sat up from the sofa and said with a smile, "I'm still drunk and can still drink. Do you want me to accompany you?"
Jin Huainian put his hand on her forehead and asked in a serious tone, "How much did you drink?"
"Not much, not much, just two bottles. No, no, it seems like three bottles." Han Siti gestured with her fingers.
Jin Huaian sneered: "I haven't seen you for a few hours, and you've drunk yourself into this."
Han Siti stood up and fell into his arms.
