Chapter 24 Blind Date

Chapter 24 Blind Date

She stood up eagerly, put on her bag, and waited at the elevator.

Jin Huainian walked out lazily, glanced at the secretary's desk, and saw no one.

"Mr. Jin, I'm here." Han Siti jumped up and waved, his tone becoming several degrees more excited.

Jin Huainian frowned, and under the light, his brow bones looked even more prominent.

"I've already pressed the elevator button for you." Han Siti pushed the man into the elevator like a dog.

"I didn't do much work, but I was more enthusiastic than anyone else when I got off work," said Jin Huainian.

Han Siti subconsciously retorted: "If you're not active after get off work, there's something wrong with your brain."

When Jin Huai saw the cold gaze coming towards him, Han Siti buried herself in his arms in vain.

"I'm so sleepy." The voice was coquettish and sounded a little aggrieved, deliberately brushing aside what had just happened.

Jin Huainian didn't reach out to hug him, but looked down at him condescendingly: "Go back to Yijiangyue?"

Han Siti looked up and refused without thinking: "No, not even this week."

The man raised an eyebrow.

"My parents are suspicious that I have a boyfriend because I don't come home every day."

"What did you say?" Jin Huainian saw her explaining seriously.

"Being exploited by the boss." Han Siti replied.

Jin Huainian chuckled in her ear and rubbed her face again: "It is indeed "exploited"."

She snorted and threw herself on him again.

The evening breeze is quiet and the traffic is endless.

Han Siti returned home and her mother reheated the food.

She ate bite by bite, and her mother just watched.

"Mom, just tell me if you have anything to say. It's creepy to watch like this," she said.

My mother didn't hide it anymore: "I have a friend's relative's child, who is four years older than you. He works in Beijing, has a high salary, and is a good person. Would you like to meet him at noon tomorrow?"

Han Siti swallowed the food in her mouth and said, "I have to go to work tomorrow and can't take a day off."

"Let's meet during the lunch break to get to know each other. I don't want you to talk to him right away." Mom's tone became a little harder.

Han Siti was helpless: "I just graduated, why would I want to go on a blind date? The last one asked me to have two kids and become a housewife right away."

"I know your personality, so I looked for someone for you in advance." Mom's voice softened again: "Let's just take a look this time. If it doesn't work out, we can leave, okay?"

Han Siti sighed and agreed.

"Don't wear those clothes you have. Mommy prepared them for you."

"What clothes?" Han Siti asked.

"Inside your closet. Let's see if it fits later."

After finishing her meal, Han Siti couldn't wait to change into a white long skirt with a waistline, lace trim at the neckline, and soft fabric.

She turned around in front of the mirror.

"You look much more ladylike in your clothes." Mom reminded him, "Be more graceful in your movements and speak softly tomorrow. Be a good boy."

Han Siti replied perfunctorily: "I understand, Mom."

One night later, it started raining and Han Siti put on a coat and went out.

I added the blind date guy on WeChat last night, chatted for a few minutes and then went to sleep.

noon.

The meeting place was set at the cafe downstairs from the company.

He had been there for a while when Han Siti trotted over with her bag. Her hair was curled and hung down to her chest.

She is very beautiful, with a beauty that can attract people at first sight. When she is not speaking, she has a light temperament, which is very special.

"Hello, have you been waiting for a long time?" Han Siti bent down and sat down to introduce himself.

The man was wearing half-frame glasses and a black suit. He had a handsome appearance and didn't dare to look her in the eye.

"I just got here a while ago." He smiled shyly: "You are more beautiful than in the photo."

"Really? Actually, I think so too."

Han Siti is very confident in her beauty, even her every frown and smile are carefully designed.

The man was a little embarrassed and was silent for a long time before he started the conversation: "Do you work at Jin's?"

Han Siti nodded and responded: "Yes."

"Isn't it hard to get into Jin's? What department do you work in?"

Like other blind dates, they either talk about work or marriage and having children.

"Secretary." Han Siti couldn't answer the first question. She got in through connections.

"Are you usually busy with work?"

"Very busy."

"Working on weekends?"

"Two days off."

After a few questions and answers, Han Siti finished half a cup of coffee.

"Is there anything you want to ask me?" The man rubbed his palms back and forth on his knees, his face flushed.

Han Siti propped up his chin, thought for a moment, and asked, "How much is your salary?"

The man didn't expect to ask a straightforward question as soon as he came.

After a pause, he said, "More than 20,000."

This salary is not small.

But I can only buy a bag for Han Siti.

Why is the gap between people so big?

In Jin's office on the top floor, with white clouds and blue sky, the glass floor-to-ceiling windows overlook the entire magnificent city.

Special Assistant Xu set the table for the meal.

"Where is she?" Jin Huainian asked calmly.

Ten minutes ago, Special Assistant Xu saw Han Siti putting on makeup, her deer eyes full of autumn water, looking at the lunch box in her hand.

He said, "I won't eat later."

If she doesn't eat, Jin Huainan will be unhappy.

"I have a blind date later." Han Siti saw that he was about to bring up Jin Huainian again, and quickly added.

Assistant Xu came to his senses and reported the truth to the man.

Jin Huainian narrowed his eyes slightly, and his deep facial features were filled with a layer of mystery. The cold atmosphere almost condensed into ice, and the darkness was oppressive.

"Have her back and come to the office."

"good."

This blind date is much better than the last one. At least the person here respects me.

Han Siti skipped back to the company. Assistant Xu was waiting in front of her workstation. She paused, feeling uneasy.

"Mr. Jin asked you to go to the office."

“………”

She walked in and closed the office door.

Under the light, the man closed his eyes slightly, half leaning on the sofa with his legs crossed, showing a lazy posture. His handsome face with clear lines was sharp and intimidating.

Han Siti's tone was soft: "Brother, what's wrong?"

At this time, she acted cute and called him brother.

"Where have you been?" Jin Huainian stared at her.

Han Siti went over and sat down: "Blind date."

The feeling of oppression surged over me like a tide.

The man leaned over, picked up the teapot, poured a cup, and handed it to her.

"How is it?" He asked indifferently with a look of disdain in his eyes.

Han Siti drank the tea in the cup in one gulp and blinked her round eyes: "More."

Jin Huainian said nothing, but skillfully poured her another cup.

"My mom insisted that I go. It would be bad if I didn't go because I'm the child of one of her friends or relatives."

"I support you, not for others to tell you whether to have children or cook." Jin Huainian said slowly.

His tone darkened slightly.

Han Siti leaned on his shoulder. "The guy I just went on a blind date with was actually quite nice. He didn't ask me to cook or have children, but the last one did..."

"Hmm?" Jin Huainian pinched her chin and said in a cold and clear voice: "There's another one?"

Han Siti reacted and was stunned for a few seconds.
