Chapter 3 Poor Little One
The meeting continues.
Outside the window, the setting sun formed fiery clouds that spread across the sky, creating a stunning view.
Han Siti sighed in worry, not yet figuring out how to argue later.
She almost made a hole in the keyboard because of her knocking.
a long time.
Leaders at all levels have finished their summaries.
The clouds engulfed by the flames quietly dissipated.
"Secretary Han, please stay. The meeting is adjourned." Jin Huainian tapped the cold conference table with his long, slender joints, his deep, gloomy black eyes not moving an inch.
His face was expressionless and his deep voice sounded like a death sentence.
Everyone couldn't help but cast a sympathetic look, silently packed up their things and left the meeting room.
She blinked, as if trying to be cute. As the saying goes, you can get away with it by bluffing. As for which "bluff"? Her pitiful expression gave the answer.
Jin Huainian raised his eyebrows slightly, obviously not buying her trick.
"Let me see the minutes you took."
Seeing that this trick was useless, Han Siti could only push the laptop over obediently.
People also stood beside him with an attitude of humbly accepting criticism.
Jin Huainian glanced at the screen and saw only two short paragraphs in the form.
The voice became fainter: "Have you finished writing the content? Have you written the summary?"
Han Siti lowered her head and looked at the angles under the other person's cold white skin. Her eyes were sharp, and the incandescent lights in the conference room made her feel uneasy.
"I recorded it and will review it later."
"What were you doing just now? Did you sleep? Didn't you get enough sleep last night?"
When Han Siti heard this, she immediately got furious.
He clenched his fists to give himself some courage. "How dare you ask? Don't you know best whether I've gotten enough sleep?"
As soon as the words fell, reason came back.
The man's eyes gradually darkened. Han Siti sat between his legs with a stern face, raised her left hand and hit him on the chest, then bit back, looking extremely spoiled.
"I'm so annoyed by you."
Jin Huainian supported her back to prevent her from hitting the corner of the table.
"Leave it to me before you get off work." His brows relaxed slightly, and he patted her back and asked her to get up.
Han Siti didn't move, and lay on his shoulder even more wantonly. The man looked indifferent, and his accelerated pulse penetrated the blood through his body temperature and reached the highest point, as if he was rehearsing what happened last night.
"Aren't you afraid of being seen?" He didn't urge her, and his tone was very good. If it weren't for the close proximity between the two of them, his words would really sound gentlemanly.
Han Siti raised his chin: "What should I be afraid of? The one I should be afraid of is you."
"Well, after all, my secretary automatically keeps two meters away from me." Jin Huainian pinched her cheek slowly and said, "It seems like I'm forcing you."
Han Siti was stunned, and her eyelashes fell clearly.
"You still remember it." She said coquettishly, "Boss Jin has a really good memory."
She hesitated for a long time but still didn't get up from him.
Jin Huainian indulged her more than others, and it was this indulgence that made Han Siti more and more arrogant.
"Are you still going to take the meeting minutes?" Jin Huainian lowered his eyes and reminded.
Han Siti pursed her lips, and even though her face showed unhappiness, she still nodded dejectedly.
The two men came out of the conference room one after the other, and no one noticed the unusual wrinkles on the man's chest.
"Why did you take so long to come out? Were you scolded by President Jin again?" Ruby's tone didn't change much.
Han Siti connected the recorder to the computer and replied, "Mr. Jin is so gentle, how could he curse at me?"
"Flattery should be done in front of others." Ruby laughed at her.
She didn't take it seriously, tapping her fingers on the computer: "How dare I."
"You're quite smart. President Jin hates employees fawning over him the most. You just need to do your job honestly and wait for your permanent position. Don't worry about anything else."
Flattery?
Han Siti's mouth twitched, and she muttered, "I think he quite likes it."
"What did you say?" Ruby didn't hear clearly.
"Nothing." Han Siti sighed, putting on a look that looked like she was about to cry but couldn't. "Sister Ruby, I have to get to work. I have to show it to the boss before I leave."
Ruby: "Poor little thing."
The dark night gradually faded into the setting sun, but the entire building was still brightly lit.
Han Siti typed the last word and twisted his neck.
The report was sent to Jin Huaian after the new year, just as the time for getting off work was approaching.
Ruby was pregnant and could leave work two hours early, but she was nowhere to be seen.
She put the phone, lipstick, and air cushion on the table into her bag, raised her head, and glanced at the closed office door.
He stood up and walked towards the elevator on the left without delay.
Unexpectedly, he was stopped by Assistant Xu.
"Secretary Han, President Jin asked you to come into the office."
Han Siti waved her hand behind her without a second thought: "I'm off work now. If you have anything to say, let's talk tomorrow."
Special Assistant Xu hesitated and said, "You'd better come over here."
Han Siti was a little impatient. She stopped and turned around. "What's the matter? I've already taken the meeting minutes and checked them carefully several times!"
After saying that, Jin Huainian's cold voice came out through the crack in the door.
"Han Dandan."
Just by calling the name, Han Siti frowned and walked into the office with great displeasure.
"Does Mr. Jin pay overtime?" she said angrily.
Jin Huainian was flipping through the documents and took the time to look up at the girl opposite him who was about to get angry.
In a light tone, he said, "Go back and pack your things. You're going on a business trip tomorrow. Don't be late."
Han Siti's eyes lit up: "Okay, Mr. Jin."
"Don't sleep too late." Jin Huainian frowned slightly when he saw her excited face.
"Without you, I would have gone to bed early." Han Siti turned her head away proudly, not wanting to listen to his nonsense anymore: "Then I'll be leaving first. See you tomorrow, dear Mr. Jin."
Walking to the door, passing by Assistant Xu, she smiled sweetly: "Bye, dear Assistant Xu."
Assistant Xu was stunned and stood still, not daring to move or reply.
Jin Huainian's eyes were a little colder as he watched the lively and beautiful figure disappear around the corner. After a moment, he shook his head helplessly and returned his gaze to the document in his hand.
—
When Han Siti returned home, it was completely dark. She came out of the elevator and unlocked the fingerprint door lock. The smell of food immediately wafted out.
After changing her shoes and throwing down her bag, she trotted to the kitchen and hugged her mother from behind while she was cooking.
"You didn't come home yesterday and didn't even call me. Your father was worried about you all night. Today he has to be on duty at the hospital. Even at work he doesn't give us peace of mind," Mom said about what happened yesterday.
Han Siti rubbed her back and acted like a spoiled brat: "I'm sorry, Mom. I'll tell you in advance next time."
"Okay, bring the dishes to the table." Mom's anger was almost gone.
The lights in the living room were bright. Han Siti was eating when he suddenly thought of something.
She said, "Mom, I'm going on a business trip for a week tomorrow."
Hearing this, my mother asked, "You've only been working for a few days, and you're already on a business trip?"
"The boss has many companies and often travels on business," said Han Siti.
"You need to be smart at work. Don't just sit there and wait for everything to be served to you like you're at home. If you do that, you won't even make it through your internship."
It’s so unfair.
