Chapter 34 My Secretary

Chapter 34 My Secretary

"Luckily, a girl passed by and rescued them."

Han Siti didn't know why, but a cold sweat broke out on her forehead, and she felt like all the pores on her body were relaxed.

"My brother stayed in the hospital for a month before returning home. Since then, my grandmother has not allowed us to drive this type of car. Most of the time, we have a driver to pick us up."

Han Siti's eyelashes trembled slightly, and she said frankly: "Lucky fortune and a long life."

"The girl who saved them also graduated from high school that year. To thank her, my grandmother agreed to her conditions and sent her to study abroad." Jin Yi said again.

Han Siti turned around, remembered something, and then said, "Didn't your brother also study abroad?"

"Yes, they are still in the same country and the same school." Jin Yi said.

Han Siti was slightly excited: "Has anything developed?"

"Probably not. That woman is still abroad. If there was any development, my brother would have brought her back long ago."

She sighed, feeling a little disappointed. She had expected to hear some story about Bai Yueguang.

Jin Yi glanced at her and said, "Do you really want my brother to have other women? Aren't you jealous?"

Han Siti shook her head, her eyes were very bright and looked extremely sincere.

"Why should I be jealous? We're not a normal boyfriend-girlfriend relationship. We might break up any day."

“………”

Jin Yi was interviewing at a photography studio where the work was relatively easy. Han Siti was waiting for her in the car.

Half an hour later, someone came out.

Han Siti leaned against the car window and asked, "How is it?"

"They said to wait for the results." Jin Yi opened the car door.

"Of course you can do it. You have always been interested in studying photography. You even took photos for people in college. If you can't do it, who can?" Han Siti said.

"I hope so." Jin Yi didn't have much confidence.

She only interviewed this one because of its good location, right across from the bar where Xie Xingan worked.

"What are we going to do now?" Han Siti asked.

Jin Yi pulled the handbrake, turned the steering wheel, and looked ahead: "Let's go eat."

They went to a very famous restaurant in Beijing. Jin Yi was a member here, so he didn't need to make a reservation.

As soon as she came in, the cool air from the air conditioner instantly enveloped Han Siti, and she couldn't help but pull her coat closer.

The waiter took them into the box.

The dishes were served quickly. Han Siti took two bites and poured the juice all over herself as soon as she picked it up. Fortunately, she was wearing a coat, so it didn't get soaked much.

"I'm going to the bathroom." Han Siti stood up and walked towards the door.

"Hurry up." Jin Yi was feeling bored being alone in the box.

"good."

Han Siti responded hurriedly.

The restaurant corridor was carpeted and quiet to walk on. Han Siti walked to the bathroom, turned on the faucet, wrung out the paper towel, and wiped it twice.

The restaurant was brightly lit, the surrounding private rooms were well soundproofed, and the corridor was quiet. Han Siti wiped the water from her palms and came out of the bathroom, her steps a little quick.

Han Siti could hear the rustling sound of footsteps not far away. She was jogging, and the hem of her white skirt swayed in a beautiful arc.

As her footsteps reached the corner, the voices of several men approached. Han Siti stumbled uncontrollably and her whole body fell straight into a warm embrace with a faint scent of cedar.

A very familiar smell.

She subconsciously clutched the clothes at her chest, was stunned for a moment, covered her forehead, and retreated from his arms.

The man's stern face became clearer. The light above his head cast a soft halo around him. The outline of his nose was three-dimensional, and his deep black eyes looked over.

The men nearby fell silent.

"Look ahead when you walk." Jin Huainian said in a low voice.

Han Siti's hands fell to the sides of her body and she nodded obediently: "I'll go first."

"Cell phone." Jin Huainian called her and his eyes fell to her feet.

Only then did Han Siti realize that her cell phone had been lost.

She squatted down and picked it up. The hair on her forehead was slightly messy, the corners of her eyes were raised, and when she blinked, it was like a butterfly's wings flitting gently.

"Thank you, Mr. Jin." Han Siti said, moved her feet and walked past him.

Several partners standing nearby glanced at the girl's back out of the corner of their eyes, then looked away.

"Mr. Jin, do you know him?"

They could see clearly that the girl could have walked around him, but Jin Huainian deliberately moved her steps and then bumped into his arms.

"I know her, she's my secretary." Jin Huainian's voice was cold, and her fragrance seemed to still linger in his arms.

The men looked at each other.

They tacitly agreed not to speak anymore.

Han Siti returned to the box, straightened her hair and sat down.

"Hurry up and eat the pickled fish, it's very delicious." Jin Yi quickly gave her advice.

Han Siti frowned: "It has thorns, I don't want to eat it."

Jin Yi: "You're so lazy."

Han Siti raised her little face, picked up a chicken wing and ate it slowly.

"I just saw Jin Huaian." she said.

Jin Yi was a little surprised, probably because he thought it was too coincidental.

"Who is he with?"

"I don't know them. They are a few men. They should be here for a social gathering."

"It's really busy."

"Yeah, he works overtime three days a week." Han Siti felt that her life was very miserable. "It's the same for him at home. Apart from sleeping and eating, he spends the rest of his time in the study busy working."

After hearing her words, Jin Yi laughed: "You really act like a wife who is worried about him."

Han Siti got goosebumps all over her body. "If he works overtime, I have to work overtime too. You don't understand the pain of working people."

“………”

The two chatted while eating, and the meal took two hours.

When I came out of the restaurant, the sky was getting dark and there was a hint of hot wind.

Jin Yi went to drive, and Han Siti waited for her on the roadside.

At this time, several people came out from inside. They looked a little drunk and were supported by someone.

Jin Huainian walked from among them and stood in front of her.

Han Siti smelled a faint scent of alcohol on him and couldn't help but frown.

"I'm not working, so you leave work so early? You must be doing it on purpose."

Jin Huainian looked at her and smiled gently: "I haven't had enough fun yet."

"No."

How can one day be enough?

Just as he finished speaking, Jin Yi drove over and looked at them naturally.

Han Siti walked forward to open the car door and pulled hard with her fingers, but to no avail. It turned out that she had locked it.

Jin Yi smiled at them: "Brother, please send Dandan back. I'm a little tired."

“………”

Han Siti puffed up her cheeks, turned around and hugged him, revealing an even more innocent expression: "Then take me back."

His car was parked not far away.

Han Siti followed on his right. Street lights stood on both sides of the street, casting two overlapping figures.

She sat in the passenger seat, and the two of them didn't speak, and the car was silent.

"Mr. Jin, have you been drinking? You can't drive after drinking." Han Siti suddenly worried about her own safety, and she was so scared that she grabbed the man's hand.

Her hands were slender and small, with a healthy pink hue on her fingertips. When they were clasped together with the man's bony hands, it had a huge impact in the dim car.
