Chapter 35 Red Envelope

Chapter 35 Red Envelope

Upon hearing this, Jin Huainian looked at her intently.

His tone was somewhat frivolous: "How about you drive it?"

Are you kidding me? She doesn't even have a driver's license.

Han Siti was very concerned about her life. After a moment of silence, she withdrew her hand and tried to get out of the car. The man's voice came slowly, with a hint of hoarseness: "I'm just kidding, I haven't drunk."

“………”

The car was moving at a constant speed on the road, and Han Siti suddenly remembered what Jin Yi had said to her.

Jin Huainian had been in a car accident.

Her heart couldn't calm down. The wind blew through the car window, blowing the loose hair on her forehead. Her throat was tight and dry, and no matter what she did, she couldn't blow away the boredom.

"Let's stop at the convenience store ahead. I want to buy some yogurt." Han Siti lowered her eyes and pursed her lips.

Jin Huainian listened to her and parked the car in front of the convenience store.

Han Siti pushed the door open, bought a bottle of yellow peach-flavored yogurt, and drank it dejectedly while sitting in the passenger seat.

The car drove to the downstairs of her residential complex. There was a security booth next to it, and many students were passing by.

Han Siti lowered her head and bit the straw, her long eyelashes blinking rapidly in the night.

"Let's go to your place." After a long silence, she spoke.

Jin Huainian put his hands casually on the steering wheel, raised his eyebrows when he heard the voice, and looked at her with interest.

The car started again and continued forward along the dim street lights.

As soon as she got on the elevator, Han Siti couldn't wait to tiptoe, put her arms around the man's neck and kiss him.

"Why are you so proactive today?" The man stretched out his hand and pressed his forehead against hers.

Han Siti frowned suddenly, and her lips, which were originally about to kiss him, could only fall on his collarbone.

"Don't you like it?" she replied in a slightly coquettish tone.

Jin Huainian's gaze on her became more and more solemn.

Just as the elevator reached the sixteenth floor, it made a "ding" sound, interrupting the two people's sticky gazes.

Jin Huainian hugged her in his arms and walked out of the elevator.

In the bedroom.

The man had just finished a shower, his hair was half dry, and he was not wearing any clothes. His bulging thin muscles could be seen through the warm yellow light. There was a large tattoo on his chest, a black eagle with thorns and wings spread. The clear lines collided with his cold white skin, giving rise to a special sexual tension.

Han Siti stretched out his finger and touched it, and his head felt numb.

He approached her, and Han Siti had no time to dodge, and was kissed by him directly.

His hair was scattered on the pillow, and his breath was hot and scorching.

Jin Huainian turned her chin, his eyes dark.

"If you don't want to come, I can stop." The man's voice sounded softly in her ear.

He looks so sanctimonious.

Before Han Siti could say anything, a ringtone suddenly rang nearby.

The man stood up and let go of her, raised his brows slightly and slid his knuckles across the screen.

Han Siti stood on the bed, and the soft mattress made her sink a little.

She leaned close to the man, her eyes as clear as grapes.

Jin Huainian's voice was low and emotionless, and his words were concise: "What's the matter?"

Han Siti couldn't hear the voice on the other end, but judging from Jin Huainian's expression, this call was not simple.

"Who is it?" Han Siti rubbed her head against the back of his hand holding the phone, making a sound deliberately.

Jin Huainian's eyes were sharp, and he didn't answer her. Instead, he took a step to the side, and Han Siti almost missed her.

The person on the other end of the phone hadn't hung up yet. Jin Huainian's jawline was tense, and he responded from time to time.

Han Siti lost interest, kicked his legs and crawled into the quilt.

A few minutes later, the man hung up the phone.

The bedroom was silent. Han Siti closed his eyes for a while, his expression hazy, as if he was about to fall asleep.

The man took the cigarette case and left the room.

Han Siti took in this scene. Who called him that needed a cigarette to relieve his sorrow?

She was extremely kind-hearted, and in a short while, she imagined a tragic love story between wealthy families.

Finally, I couldn't resist the sudden sleepiness and fell into a deep sleep.

………

The weather has started to get cooler in the past few weeks.

The wind blew across my skin, and the heat was gone. The invisible leaves in the community began to show signs of yellowing, and the place where my uncles and aunts played chess moved from indoors to outdoors.

Han Siti came out of the room wearing a sweater, with her hair slightly curled and hanging down on her chest.

Dad brought back breakfast from outside, put it on a plate and placed it on the table.

"Dandan, tomorrow is Mid-Autumn Festival, let's go back to grandma's house." Mom came out of the kitchen and discussed it with her in advance.

Han Siti hadn't seen her grandmother for half a year, so she agreed without hesitation.

After dinner, Han Siti went downstairs and took a taxi to the company.

As soon as she arrived at the company lobby, someone greeted her: "Secretary Han, the company is giving out Mid-Autumn Festival benefits today. Do you know how much money it is?"

"I got 2,000 last year, I don't know how much I get today." Someone next to me said,

Continue the conversation.

Han Siti was confused: "Will I get any money for the Mid-Autumn Festival?"

"Yes, Jin's has always done this in previous years, a box of mooncakes plus a cash red envelope."

Han Siti was curious when she heard this: "Does anyone have one?"

"As long as you are a Jin employee," the man said.

Han Siti waited like this for the whole day, and by the time she got off work, her smile was stiff, but she still didn't get the red envelope.

The lights in the office were turned off, Jin Huainian came out, and Han Siti followed him.

"Ms. Jin, have you forgotten something?" she took the initiative to speak.

Jin Huai stood lazily in the middle of the elevator, his face puzzled. He then asked her, "What's the matter?"

Han Siti pulled at the sleeve of his suit, shook it left and right, and gave him a hint: "Happy Mid-Autumn Festival."

"Well, happy Mid-Autumn Festival." He appeared to be in a relaxed state, and it was not difficult to hear his intention to tease her in his words.

Han Siti snorted softly and was about to sulk again.

"You want this?"

The man chuckled, and pulled out a red envelope from somewhere with dazzling golden lettering on it, and handed it straight to her.

Han Siti laughed instantly. She quickly took it, felt its thickness, and laughed even louder.

"Thank you, Mr. Jin." After she said that, she pulled the man's hand.

Jin Huainian let her strength lean down, and Han Siti stood on tiptoe and kissed him on the lips.

Assistant Xu consciously stood in the corner, not even daring to glance over.

——

The next day.

Han Siti was woken up by her mother early in the morning to clean up, and her eyelids were fighting and she couldn't open them.

Depart at 8 o'clock and arrive at grandma's house at 12 o'clock.

The country roads have been renovated and you can drive directly to the door.

Han Siti couldn't wait to open the car door and called out "Grandma" at the top of her voice.

"Dandan is back." Grandma's voice floated out from the house.

Han Siti ran into the yard and her grandmother was walking out, so she hugged her.

He inhaled the warm scent of her body.

"Grandma, I miss you so much."

Grandma took her into the house and said, "You haven't come to see me for so long, and you still say you miss me?"

Han Siti's eyelashes drooped: "I'm working now, I don't have that much time."

Grandma pretended to be angry: "Ask your boss to give you more time off."

Han Siti laughed a few times after hearing this, and said with a hint of helplessness: "It's good enough that he doesn't let me work overtime."
