Chapter 36 Shy

Chapter 36 Shy

Grandma stopped immediately, turned sideways, and stroked her pretty little face with both hands.

"Look at you, you don't look good." Grandma said, "Don't do it anymore. I can support you."

"Mom, don't spoil her." Han's mother came in carrying a mooncake gift box. "Your precious granddaughter has gained two kilograms in the past two months. How can she not look good?"

Grandma glanced at Mom and changed the subject.

"Are you dating a boyfriend yet?"

Han Siti entered the room and found a chair to sit down: "No, it's still early."

"Let's take our time, there's no rush."

At this time, my aunt came back from outside after picking vegetables. After greeting my parents, her eyes fell on the girl in the house.

"Dandan, today I'm going to make your favorite fried eggplant boxes."

Han Siti smiled broadly: "Thank you, auntie."

Mom sighed: "Just spoil her."

"We Dandan were born to enjoy a happy life," said grandma with a smile.

The air in the countryside is fresh. There is a wooden rack in the yard, full of cucumbers and beans. A few brown vines are wrapped around the wall. The big trees outside the wall have light green leaves.

Han Siti was so engrossed in watching that her thoughts were suddenly interrupted by the ringing of her cell phone.

A video call from Jin Yi.

She clicked on it to answer.

The girl's beautiful face appeared on the screen.

"Dandan, happy Mid-Autumn Festival." It was very lively at Jin Yi's place. It seemed that they hadn't started eating yet, and a lot of people gathered at his house.

"Happy Mid-Autumn Festival." Han Siti's eyes curved, and fragmented light swept in from outside, and she was completely shrouded in sunlight.

"Have you returned to your hometown?" Jin Yi asked, looking at her on the screen.

Han Siti nodded: "Just got back."

Jin Yi was sitting on the sofa in the living room, and the camera on her cell phone could capture the people behind her one by one.

"My brother is here." Jin Yi suddenly reversed the camera.

The man stood in front, with broad shoulders and a narrow waist, and a slender back. There were two children around ten years old beside him, clamoring for him to hold them. He closed his eyes but did not move.

A few strands of Han Siti's hair fell on her neck, and her eyelashes cast a light shadow. She pursed her lips and muttered, "I'm not looking for him."

Jin Yi smiled and called out to the man in front.

Jin Huainian turned around with a sense of calmness, and when he looked at the camera, his eyebrows were deep and sparse.

Han Siti drooped her eyelids, unable to understand her boring behavior.

"What are you doing?"

Jin Yi: "Can't I show you my brother?"

“Who wants to see the boss on vacation?”

That’s right, Jin Yi thought about it and turned the camera back.

"Haven't you eaten yet?" Jin Yi chatted.

"Not yet."

"When will you be back?"

Han Siti tilted her head and smiled, her tone a little arrogant: "You miss me so much?"

"I want you to go shopping with me."

"Maybe I'll be back tomorrow night."

As the two were chatting, Han Siti noticed that there was a figure behind Jin Yi. His bony hands were resting on the back of the sofa. He was talking to someone in a low and magnetic voice.

As if rubbing against her ear.

For some reason, Han Siti suddenly felt shy and hid her head away from the phone.

"What's wrong?" Jin Yi saw her cheeks blushing.

"It's okay." Han Siti quickly adjusted his expression and pretended nothing had happened.

"Why is your face red?" Jin Yi continued, his voice a little louder with surprise.

The man behind her seemed to have heard it as well. He raised his eyelids and the moment he turned around, his eyes were focused on her mobile phone. Through the screen, Han Siti immediately covered her face with one hand.

"What are you doing?" She spoke a little quickly, and her tone sounded even more delicate.

Fortunately, the man quickly looked away.

"Are you shy?" Jin Yi teased.

Han Siti said solemnly: "I didn't! Hang up, I want to eat."

Jin Yi smiled and took back his phone.

Liuyi jumped onto the sofa, and she picked him up and stroked him twice.

"Brother, when will you bring me a sister-in-law?" she said meaningfully.

Jin Huainian looks relaxed and unfocused, and has a superior appearance. Even the children in his family love to stick to him.

"Let's talk about it when she's willing." He raised his eyebrows slightly without giving a clear answer.

Who is this woman?

Jin Yi could only guess it was Han Siti.

After Han Siti hung up the phone, her face was still hot. She ran outside and turned on the faucet next to the pillar. The cold water splashed on her face, which relieved some of the heat.

"Dandan." A young female voice came from behind, followed by footsteps and the sound of wheels rubbing against the floor.

Han Siti turned around and saw her aunt's daughter Du Anning coming back with a box.

"Cousin." Han Siti waved her hands.

After greeting each other, the two went into the house together, and the food was ready.

Han Siti took the initiative to serve rice to everyone.

Everyone sat around the table, eating and chatting.

The question of relationships always comes up, and today was no different. Grandma brought it up first: "An Ning, when are you going to bring your boyfriend home?"

Han Siti was surprised for a moment and asked in a puzzled tone: "My cousin has a boyfriend?"

"We've been dating for half a year," said grandma.

Du An Ning frowned slightly. He couldn't be happy to talk about this as soon as he came back.

"We're not stable yet, maybe next time."

Grandma didn't press me and sighed, "When you two sisters are married, I'll feel relieved."

Han's mother said, "Mom, you don't know how long you have to wait."

Grandma glanced at her and retorted, "An Ning has a boyfriend now, the only one missing is Dan Dan. I don't worry about her. Dan Dan has been beautiful since she was a child. When she came to visit during the summer vacation, there was a little boy next door who often secretly watched her at our door. Are you worried that she can't find a boyfriend?"

Han's mother sighed deeply: "She doesn't like others. She went on two blind dates and didn't like him once."

"Mom, why are you involving me again?" Han Siti was speechless, but didn't dare to say it out loud.

"You won't let me speak?"

"You don't have to get married. Living alone is also good. I can still have time to accompany grandma, right, cousin?" Han Siti tried to win over Du An Ning opposite him.

"Yes, there are many people who don't get married now." Du An Ning noticed the gaze.

Grandma looked at them and said in a slightly gloomy tone: "I'm old, please don't make me angry."

Seeing this, the two of them didn't dare to speak anymore and just ate in silence.

night.

The last wisp of smoke dissipated, and moonlight shone in from the window, and the shadows of the trees swayed.

Du An Ning slept in the same room with her. After they finished cleaning up, they lay on the bed. She played with her cell phone for a while and felt a little sleepy.

"Dandan, are you at work now?"

Her parents didn't tell her grandmother and aunt about her job as a secretary at Jin's. The reason was simple: they were afraid she wouldn't make it through the internship, and if she spread the news, it would be hard to take it back. Her mother still cared a lot about her reputation.

Han Siti nodded dejectedly.

"How long have you been working here? Why haven't I heard you mention it before?"

Han Siti stared at the ceiling, looking anxiously.
