Chapter 42 First Kiss
Saturday.
The sky was azure and covered with endless clouds. The sun slanted down and a gentle breeze blew, causing the leaves to rustle.
After lunch, Han Siti took a nap. When she woke up, she saw Jin Yi’s updated Moments.
It was her and Xie Xing'an's shadows, projected on the ground, with the street light shining down on them, their fingers intertwined.
The copy is simple: I have caught up with you.
Han Siti couldn't help but comment: Love-brained.
Jin Yi replied to her: There’s nothing I can do, I just like you.
She smiled and put down her phone.
"What are you laughing at?" Jin Huainian just came out of the room and saw her sitting on the carpet and grinning foolishly.
Han Siti's smile froze, and she said reluctantly, "Nothing."
Jin Huainian looked indifferent. Since she didn't say anything, he didn't ask any more questions.
The afternoon was long, Jin Huainian was busy with work, and Han Siti was very bored.
I lay on the sofa for two hours before going to the study to bother him.
Jin Huainian was holding a remote meeting with the branch office. When she came in, the man glanced at her coldly and continued to listen to the department's speech.
Han Siti took a book from the bookshelf and sat on a separate tatami mat next to it.
Before I could even sit down, I heard the man suddenly say, "Come here."
Han Siti lowered her voice carefully: "Aren't you in a meeting?"
"Turn off the sound." Jin Huainian's dark eyes were burning when he looked at her.
Han Siti put the book down and walked over slowly, looking extremely reluctant.
Jin Huainian held the person on his lap, and the meeting continued.
After about half an hour, it finally ended.
Han Siti was almost asleep.
"Bored?" Jin Huainian asked her.
"Um."
She pointed again and again, poking the man's chest out of boredom.
"I want to play with your phone." Han Siti blinked, suddenly remembered something, and said.
Jin Huainian showed no emotion: "Take it yourself."
Han Siti opened the text message from yesterday, which was lying empty in his message list. He didn't reply.
She pursed her lips, exited, and opened a game.
Jin Huainian plays less than twice a month, and most of the time she is the one playing.
As soon as she logged in, someone invited her. It was someone she had invited the last time she played games.
Jin Huainian held the mouse in one hand and placed the other on her waist, occasionally stopping to look at her.
When the game started, her teammate suddenly turned on the microphone, and there was a rustling sound of electricity.
It's a boy, and his voice sounds very young.
"Be careful, there's someone ahead."
Jin Huainian cast a dark gaze over, looking displeased.
Han Siti seemed to be explaining, but in fact, she was deliberately saying, "The friend I played games with last time was unexpectedly a boy, and his voice was so nice."
"Stop playing." Jin Huainian understood what she meant and spoke in a cold voice.
"It's not over yet, points will be deducted." Han Siti glared at him.
"Isn't this my account?" Jin Huainian snorted coldly.
She held the phone, a little distracted: "But all these points were earned by me."
Jin Huainian frowned, prepared to watch her finish the game quietly, and then confiscated her phone.
"Wow, you're so awesome." Han Siti turned on the microphone and praised.
The voice on the other end softened, a hint of embarrassment and shyness: "Just follow me."
"Okay." Han Siti obeyed.
"When do you usually go online?" the other party asked again, obviously more relaxed than before.
Han Siti: "Not sure, I play when I'm bored."
"Add WeChat? We can play games together later."
Jin Huainian's eyes darkened, and he looked like an unmeltable iceberg, his joints slightly white, and his emotions were cold and distant, just like anger was written all over him.
"No." He deliberately emphasized these two words, but his tone was calm.
He slowly hugged her tighter, his movements leaving no room for rejection.
"Is there anyone next to you?" The boy opposite paused.
Han Siti smiled and said, "My husband is next to me."
"Sorry." The person on the other end said angrily.
"fine."
After finishing the fight, Han Siti put down his phone.
"Brother, you are a little jealous." She said coquettishly, her body softly pressed against the man's chest.
Jin Huainian did not deny it, and even his heart suddenly became dark for a moment, and he wanted to hide her.
"Be good."
"Am I not obedient enough?" Han Siti suddenly became sarcastic: "I'm just playing a game with someone else, I'm not engaged to him."
Jin Huaian narrowed his eyes slightly, his face calm: "The resentment is quite heavy."
"I didn't." Han Siti got off him, raised her chin, and didn't want to argue with him.
After saying that, he left the study.
After dinner, I received a call from my mother.
Han Siti's heart sank.
"Stay at your friend's house again?" Mom asked.
Han Siti bit her lip: "Yeah."
"Are you in a relationship? You don't come home for several days a week." Her mother obviously didn't believe her.
Han Siti clenched her phone, her fingertips turning white. "No, I'm really at a friend's house."
She said as she walked out and pressed the elevator button.
"Let your friend answer the phone." Mom's voice was deep and authoritative.
Han Siti guessed her mother would say this when the elevator door opened.
"Wait a moment, she's in the bathroom."
There was silence from my mother.
Finally, he came out of the elevator and rang her doorbell while holding his phone.
Jin Yi opened the door quickly too.
She gestured with her fingers, and Jin Yi understood in a second.
"Auntie, this is Yiyi." She answered the phone: "Well, she's at my house. I just moved out and I'm a little scared at night."
"Okay, I know. Don't worry, I'll introduce the right one to Dandan."
After hanging up the phone, Jin Yi handed the phone back.
"Your mother asked me indirectly whether I had a boyfriend," she said.
Han Siti hugged her and said, "Well, my cousin has found a boyfriend, and now it's time for me to get back together."
"Luckily I moved here, otherwise you would be exposed."
"Thank you, you are so nice." Han Siti said and kissed her.
Jin Yi got goosebumps: "Okay, okay, go back now."
Han Siti raised an eyebrow: "Why are you in such a hurry to ask me to leave today? Isn't Xie Xing'an at your house?"
"No, I'm going to call him later. How can I feel embarrassed with you here?" Jin Yi said, blushing. She was beautiful, with bright features. When she smiled, the corners of her mouth had just the right curve, making her look lively and youthful.
"Why should I feel embarrassed? I'm not listening." Han Siti ignored her attempts to stop him and looked inside.
"I told you, he's really not here." Jin Yi said, "It hasn't even come to that."
Han Siti asked, "Did you kiss?"
Jin Yi leaned against the wall, his eyebrows moved, and he asked, "You gave my first kiss to my brother?"
"Yeah, it's really a good deal for him." Han Siti's eyelashes drooped as she replied casually.
Jin Yi pursed his lips and smiled: "Indeed, my brother took advantage, so how did you feel when you kissed for the first time?"
What does it feel like? It seems like a long time ago.
