Chapter 49 The Person I Like
Jin Yi looked at her with a teasing look.
"Leave it with my brother. There's someone to take care of it," she said.
Han Siti's mouth twitched: "Have you forgotten how much he dislikes our lovely Liuyi?"
Liuyi was raised by Jin Yi in his senior year. Jin Huainian frowned the first time he saw it, showing a strong sense of disgust.
But Liuyi is very clingy to him and always jumps into his arms without him noticing.
For a long time, Jin Yi didn't dare to bring it around in front of Jin Huainian.
"Maybe if you raise him, he won't be disgusted anymore?" Jin Yi said with a hint of meaning.
Han Siti's tone was quite helpless: "I am not the chosen one, nor am I the heroine in the TV series."
She curled the corners of her lips, and her eyes were bright when she smiled, and her black pupils were as lively as water.
After saying that, he lowered his eyes and thought for half a second, then added: "I'm just cannon fodder."
"Cannon fodder?" Jin Yi didn't quite understand.
"The heroine is here, be ready to make way at any time." Han Siti calmly picked up the cup again and drank it.
Jin Yi knew she was acting up and smiled, "Don't let your imagination run wild. My brother doesn't have any white moonlight or cinnabar mole."
Han Siti didn't care. At this moment, a message popped up on her phone. She knew who it was from without even looking at it.
"They're really strict." She complained softly after reading the message.
"My brother asked you to go back?" Jin Yi asked.
Han Siti nodded, looking a little gloomy.
Go down from upstairs.
Han Siti walked to the door of the room and saw Jin Huainian taking off his suit, revealing his cold, white and thin upper body. His muscles were smooth and his lines on his lower abdomen were extremely clear, flowing to some unspeakable area.
"You hooligan." Han Siti acted shy on purpose, with a silly look on her face.
The man slowly put on loose drawstring sweatpants. He had broad shoulders and a narrow waist, and looked over lazily.
"The one who peeks is a hooligan."
Han Siti walked up to him and slid her fingers across his chest: "Am I not watching openly?"
After she finished speaking, she smiled meaningfully.
"Good practice."
Jin Huainian raised his eyebrows and held her hand.
"Want to do it in broad daylight?" The man looked at her with dark eyes, which gave her a sense of oppression.
Han Siti immediately became timid and tried to struggle out of his hands.
"I was wrong."
Jin Huainian let her go: "Let's go eat."
Han Siti ran away in a flash.
The beautiful figure melted into his eyes, a corner of her skirt swayed, and her throat suddenly tightened.
———
There was a drizzle, dark clouds covered the entire city, and the sycamore leaves outside were falling one after another.
Han Siti snuggled in the quilt, reading the message that Jin Yi had just sent.
Jin Yi: [Qu Qinglin is back and is now at the old house. My grandma asked her to come over for dinner.]
Han Siti was a little dazed in her sleep, and it took her a while to remember who Qu Qinglin was.
【Then what? 】
Jin Yi sent a video.
The woman in the video is wearing a plain green long dress, with long hair draped over her shoulders and soft facial lines. She has a dignified beauty sitting there.
Two seconds later, the camera quickly passed by the man sitting next to it.
Jin Huainian seemed to be aware of the camera and looked at it casually with a calm expression. His handsome appearance made him very eye-catching sitting there.
Han Siti: [Stop posting, I want to sleep.]
Jin Yi: [It’s already 12 noon, you still want to sleep?]
Han Siti: [You woke me up.]
Jin Yi chuckled and was about to go back when his grandmother called him.
"Yiyi, don't play with your phone while eating. You just moved out not long ago, how come you have developed such a bad habit?"
Jin Yi put down his phone and lowered his head to eat.
"You've been living away from home for almost a month. Are you used to it?" Grandma said, glancing at Jin Yi. He didn't seem to have lost weight.
Jin Yi replied, "I'm very used to it. It's much better than home."
Grandma frowned slightly, her tone a little serious: "What's wrong with home? Isn't it better than outside?"
"The restrictions at home are too strict." Jin Yi said without thinking, and was slapped by his mother as soon as he finished speaking.
She came to her senses and tried to make amends: "It's all good at home, but I haven't seen you guys for a long time. I miss you guys so much."
"You didn't even call us, and you still miss us."
Jin Yi: "Grandma, didn't I call you the day before yesterday? You're talking nonsense again."
"He hung up after just a few words. Is this what you call a fight?"
Grandma has her own logic, and Jin Yi is obviously no match for her.
"Then I'll call you every day from now on. Please don't find me annoying."
Her mother, who was sitting next to her, continued, "Why would grandma bother you? She wishes you would call her every day."
Everyone laughed and enjoyed themselves for a while.
The rain outside was gradually getting lighter and lighter, almost inaudible, like crushed silver threads, falling drop by drop into the pond in the house.
"Yiyi, you have graduated now. You can fall in love with someone you like." Wen Zhiyun helped her put some dishes in the bowl, and her tone suddenly became gentle.
Jin Yi was stunned, his eyes twinkling with stars: "As long as it's what I like, it's fine?"
"Do you have someone you like?" Wen Zhiyun noticed her hidden meaning.
Jin Yi didn't dare to say it.
"Just tell me first, it's okay if it's what I like."
Wen Zhiyun: "To be good to you, his financial conditions can't be bad. At least he can afford what you want."
The smile on Jin Yi's lips faded: "I understand."
Her mother touched her hair and said, "So if you have someone you like, bring them home and let me check them out for you."
"Um."
After she finished speaking, she lowered her head.
"Huai Nian doesn't have a girlfriend yet, so don't worry, Yiyi." Grandma said.
The woman sitting over there looked at Jin Huaian thoughtfully.
"Huainian doesn't have a girlfriend yet?" Her voice was as soft as water.
"The last time I introduced someone, it broke up within a month."
Qu Qinglin thought of the phone call and tightened her fingers.
Chen Jingzhi said at this time: "Mom, don't worry about him. We will get married sooner or later anyway."
Grandma snorted coldly: "Then how long should I wait?"
There was a hint of coldness in Jin Huainian's ink-black eyes, and the emotions flowing in them were obscure and unclear.
"Grandma, I will try to get married before next year."
Grandma was shocked: "That's not what I meant. Don't just pick anyone to marry."
"No." Jin Huainian replied calmly.
"Is your classmate Yiyi still your secretary?" said grandma.
Jin Huainian: "Yeah."
"She's younger than Yiyi, right? You can treat her as a younger sister, but be careful about the limits."
Chen Jingzhi knew his son's temper and was afraid that he would say it out loud right away.
"Mom, let's not talk about this anymore, let's eat." She said quickly.
Jin Huainian's jawline was tense and his expression was serious.
After coming back to have a meal, Jin Yi and Jin Huainian were not very happy.
Before leaving, grandma asked him to send Qu Qinglin back with him.
