Chapter 5 I'm So Envious

Chapter 5 I'm So Envious

"I'm home. You have to bring back breakfast tomorrow morning. Dandan has to go on a business trip." Mom's voice was getting closer.

Jin Huainian, under her force, opened the door. Through the gap, the two of them looked at each other tacitly, then dodged. At the moment the door closed, her mother's footsteps just stepped over the last staircase.

"Mom." Han Siti called first.

Mom paused for a moment: "You haven't come home yet?"

"Yeah, I chatted with grandma for a while." She went over and took her mother's hand, and they walked to the door of their house together.

"Pack your things for the business trip, go to bed early, and don't play with your phone at night."

Han Siti agreed quickly.

When I returned to the bedroom, I started stuffing clothes into the suitcase, all kinds of skirts, short and long, colorful.

After cleaning up, he curled up his fingers and lay motionless on the bed.

Before going to bed, my mother came in from the living room and took a look. The suitcase was wide open. She frowned and muttered, "Why don't you pack all the wardrobes in? Are you taking so many clothes with you to work or travel?"

Han Siti fluttered her long curly eyelashes, her slender neck, and she turned over weakly at the end of the bed.

"To work, of course." She stretched out her arm and swung her mother's hand.

"What time is your flight tomorrow? I'll ask your dad to take you there." Her mother looked at her with a look of disappointment.

Han Siti sat up from the bed, her long seaweed-like hair falling vertically in front of her chest, and her pair of misty almond eyes were like lilies with curtains hanging in the rain.

"Mr. Jin is at his grandmother's house. I'll go to the airport with him tomorrow," she said.

My mother didn't think much about it and said hastily, "Okay, go to bed early."

"Good night, Mom."

After the door closed, her shoulders relaxed a little.

Han Siti moved a little, leaned against the head of the bed, picked up her cell phone, smoothed her hair with her slender white fingers, unbuttoned two buttons of her pajamas, revealing her round shoulders and collarbone.

With a faint smile on her lips, she sent a message to Jin Huainian: [Is Mr. Jin asleep? I'm a little excited and can't sleep...]

Jin Huainian: [I couldn't sleep, so I got up to work.]

Han Siti's smile froze, and she reluctantly replied, "You're so mean."

Without waiting for a response, Han Siti snuggled into the quilt with a peaceful expression on her face until she began to breathe evenly.

The next day.

early morning.

Han Siti was awakened by her mother. She slowly sat up, the dream she had at night still lingering in her mind.

"What's wrong with your neck?" After turning on the light, the mother clearly saw a thumb-sized red mark on the side of the neck.

Han Siti woke up instantly, as if water had been poured into her heart.

"Really?" She pretended to be ignorant and covered it with her palm.

"Don't move." Her mother let go of her hand and looked around carefully. "Are there any bugs in the room? I'll ask your dad to come and check it out later."

Han Siti's heartbeat slowed down, and she smiled sweetly, "This bug is so mean!"

"Apply the ointment after dinner." Mom replied.

"good."

Han Siti tidied up for a while and went to the living room to eat. Her father had not come back yet. She was half lying on the sofa with her straight and slender legs raised high.

About ten minutes later, the sound of fingerprint unlocking was heard at the door.

She called out, "Dad."

Dad brought a bag of breakfast, put it on the table, and pretended to be surprised to tease her.

"Oh, my daughter got up so early today."

Han Siti put her foot down, stood up, and pinched her father's shoulder: "I just got up to greet my father who just finished his shift."

"I really love you." Dad smiled and said, "What time is the flight?"

"We have to go to the airport after dinner." Han Siti massaged her shoulders and then her back.

Dad said as he went to the kitchen to wash his hands: "You really don't need Dad to send you?"

"No, the boss is next door," she said.

"Okay, go call your mom for dinner." Dad didn't say much.

Han Siti waited until her mother came out before she slowly picked up the fried dough sticks and ate them with soy milk.

After eating, Dad went back to his room to catch up on his sleep, and Han Siti helped Mom clean up the dishes.

At eight o'clock, my mother goes out to teach on time.

The living room returned to silence.

At this moment, the phone received a message from Jin Huainian on time: [Going out.]

Han Siti, holding an ice cream in her mouth, pushed her suitcase to the door with a desperate look. She hadn't had time to put on makeup yet, and the faint dark circles under her eyes were proof of her late sleep last night.

There was light outside the corridor, casting a few shadows.

Mr. Jin, Special Assistant Xu and two bodyguards in black.

Looks like he's waiting for her.

Han Siti handed the luggage to the bodyguard beside her, brushed her hair, leaned forward, and said hello in a very pretentious manner: "I'm so sorry to have kept you waiting."

How can she feel comfortable with the boss waiting for the employees?

Unfortunately, Han Siti's face was thicker than a city wall. She took a bite of the ice cream as if nothing had happened, and her lips felt cold.

Jin Huainian frowned, glanced at her, and walked forward.

The men had long legs, so Han Siti hurried to catch up.

After getting off the elevator, I finished my ice cream.

Han Siti and Jin Huainian were sitting in the back of a seven-seater business car with the window half open. The dim light swept across the man's eyebrows, then his Adam's apple. The kiss mark left that morning was still there.

His shirt buttons were tightly buttoned, his posture was straight, and the cuffs on his wrists were folded up, revealing a silver custom-made watch. The veins on his wrists were clearly visible, and he exuded a noble and indifferent air.

It takes twenty minutes from home to the airport.

Han Siti and Special Assistant Xu were sitting next to each other in economy class. She asked the flight attendant for a blanket to cover her legs.

Special Assistant Xu had no expression on his face and spoke very little. He just picked up his iPad and started working.

Han Siti curled her lips, crossed her arms, and felt sleepy.

During the flight, she did not sleep well and her head fell dizzy on Assistant Xu's shoulder several times.

However, I was woken up every time.

Han Siti rubbed his eyes, his voice a little hoarse: "Assistant Xu, do you have a girlfriend?"

Assistant Xu's eyes were dodging, but he could still catch a glimpse of her naked gaze from the corner of his eye.

He clenched his fist to his mouth and coughed twice: "No."

"Then why don't you let me get close? Am I that scary?" Han Siti said.

Special Assistant Xu's back stiffened, and he replied in an extremely unnatural tone, "Secretary Han, we'll be landing soon."

Han Siti smiled slightly, rolled her eyes first, and replied indifferently and wordlessly: "Oh."

Thick white clouds wrapped around the wings of the plane, and the blue sky was prominent, forming a clear dividing line.

The airport broadcast continued.

Walking out to the V area saved a lot of time. On the way to the hotel, Han Siti blinked her deer eyes and showed her courtesy.

She spoke in a coquettish tone: "Mr. Jin, do you want some water? Are you hungry?"

There was a strange tenderness in the man's eyes, and his gaze stopped on her: "Be quiet."

How could Han Siti be so obedient?

"I didn't sleep well, and my back and waist are sore. Unlike you who can fly first class, I'm so envious."

How could anyone not hear the slightly sarcastic tone of her voice?
