Chapter 55 He is very stingy

Chapter 55 He is very stingy

Return to the workstation.

Han Siti turned on the computer and started working.

Day and night alternate.

After a busy day, during which I also attended a meeting, my fatigue only eased when I got off work in the evening.

The night wind is sad and desolate.

"Please take me to the subway station today." Han Siti leaned back in the chair sleepily, with her long and thick eyelashes drooping, as if she could fall asleep in a second.

Jin Huainian drove himself today, his features hidden in the dim interior of the car.

"I'll take you home." He lowered his voice, probably because he was afraid of disturbing her rest.

Han Siti glanced at him and said in a bad tone: "No, what if we get caught again later? Let's not meet outside the company for the time being."

"?"

Jin Huainian stepped on the brakes, glanced slightly between his brows, his eyes deep.

Han Siti, upholding her responsibility as a canary, perfunctorily asked again, "Is that okay?"

"Do you think it's okay?" His face and tone were cold.

Jin Huainian drove straight past the subway station.

Han Siti tilted her head to glance at the car window, then quickly turned back to look at him.

"Didn't you say you would take me to the subway station?" she said angrily.

Jin Huaian's lips curled up into a slight smile, and he asked in a nonchalant manner: "Did I agree?"

"If you get discovered later, let's see what you'll do." She held her breath and thought for a long time before she said this.

"No one will find out." Jin Huainian comforted her.

But it was no use, she got a little angry.

"You said the same thing last time. Put me down quickly." Han Siti refused to listen to him this time.

Cars shuttled on the road and there was a constant flow of people around.

"Are you sure? It seems difficult to get a taxi here." Jin Huainian said hesitantly, his tone just right.

He created a boss character who cares deeply about her.

Han Siti looked around and saw a neon-lit intersection with vehicles coming and going stuck in traffic ahead, making the traffic very busy.

We happened to drive past a subway station. If we get off now, we might not be able to get a taxi until someday.

Han Siti gave up the idea in just one second: "You'd better take me home."

There was a look of joy on Jin Huainian's face, as if his plan had succeeded.

She didn't say anything along the way, partly because she was a little angry, and partly because she was really sleepy.

She slept for twenty minutes and when she woke up it was already time.

Han Siti rubbed her eyes. It was pitch black all around her, with moonlight shining through the shadows of the trees. She saw a man smoking under the streetlight ahead.

Jin Huainian was standing with the light behind him, with a hint of scarlet between his knuckles, sometimes bright and sometimes dim. His black eyes were filled with faint emotions, and he looked a little lazy. The smoke exhaled from his lips just added a hint of haziness to his profile.

Han Siti took a breath and looked around vigilantly to make sure no one got off the car.

Jin Huainian looked over, put out his cigarette, and the butt fell to the ground, and the remaining smoke dissipated.

"What are you nervous about?" He raised his eyebrows.

Han Siti made a lot of small movements, glancing at the entrance of the community from time to time.

"I'm leaving." She waved her hand, not daring to stay long.

Jin Huainian threw the cigarette butt into the trash can, then walked over. In the night, there was a cool breeze, and his handsome face became clearer and clearer.

Han Siti didn't know what he was going to do and subconsciously wanted to escape.

"Come here, I have something to tell you." Jin Huainian stood where he was and spoke indifferently.

Han Siti paused and turned around with confusion.

"What's the matter?" she asked.

"Come here and talk to you." Jin Huainian waved at her.

Han Siti ran up to him, blinked, and said impatiently: "What's going on?"

Jin Huainian lowered his head. He had just finished smoking a cigarette, so it was not convenient to kiss her. So he turned his lips away and gently touched her cheek.

Han Siti's eyelashes trembled the moment he pressed over her.

Shadows overlap.

It ended with a kiss.

Han Siti's face was slightly flushed, but she wasn't shy at all.

"Let's go." Jin Huainian's eyes were tired as he touched the face that he had kissed.

"Be careful."

Han Siti spoke slowly, his voice vague and ethereal, and if a gust of wind blew, it would surely disappear without a trace.

Jin Huainian paused for a moment as he left, his voice raspy, "Are you so well behaved today?"

She had a pair of watery eyes, tilted her head, and said innocently: "I have always been very good."

Jin Huainian's Adam's apple moved: "Come with me to Yijiangyue?"

"Didn't we agree not to go there recently?" Han Siti gestured with her hands: "We will keep this distance from now on."

"Who told you that?" Jin Huainian asked unhappily.

The two of them had been hesitating for a long time.

Han Siti didn't want to talk about this anymore: "Oh, I've made a unilateral agreement. You should go back now. I'm leaving too."

Jin Huainian opened the driver's door and casually put his arm across his shoulder: "You go first."

Han Siti responded softly, turned around and skipped into the community.

Jin Huainian watched her figure disappear from his pupils before driving away.

She pressed her fingerprint and pushed the door open. Her mother had just brought the meal to the table. Her father was on duty today and had not come back yet.

Han Siti came over after washing her hands. Her mother asked her, "Why are you here so late?"

"There's a traffic jam outside." She served the rice slowly.

"Aren't you taking the subway? Why are you stuck in traffic?"

Han Siti blinked, a hint of panic in her eyes: "The car I took today."

The expression is not natural.

Mom noticed it immediately.

"Boyfriend's?" she asked with a smile.

Han Siti: "No, I took a taxi back."

"It's so late, why don't I see you off?" Mom looked as if she was dissatisfied with her future son-in-law.

Seeing this, Han Siti put on a pitiful look.

"Not only did he not give me a gift, but he's also very stingy. I even want to break up with him." She tried to portray her 'boyfriend' as very bad.

Mom frowned: "Then what were you doing with him at that time?"

Han Siti was about to squeeze out a few tears: "I didn't know he was that kind of person before."

"If it's not good for you, break up quickly." Mom believed her.

Han Siti achieved her goal, her eyes curved, "Well, I'll go and break up with him tomorrow..."

Before he could finish his words, the phone on the table rang.

She looked down, saw the note on the screen, quickly picked it up, and walked to the window.

"What's wrong?" she asked in a low voice.

Jin Huainian said calmly, "Your bag was left in the car."

"Bring it to me at the company tomorrow," she replied.

"I'm downstairs now, please come down."

"Are you kidding? How can I get down now?" Han Siti was speechless.

"Waiting for you." Jin Huainian hung up the phone.

Leaving her confused.

She turned around with an unclear emotion and saw her mother standing two meters away by the coffee table.

Han Siti wasn't sure if she heard it.

"Mom, I have to go out for something." She was silent for a few seconds before speaking.

Mom suddenly laughed: "Okay."

Han Siti quickly opened the door and walked out of the house.

Jin Huainian sat on the bench with her bag beside him. The night almost swallowed him up, and he looked cold and lonely.
