Chapter 68 A Little

Chapter 68 A Little

Jin Huainian frowned when he heard that, then reached out and touched her forehead, and found that her temperature was normal.

"Where do you feel uncomfortable?" His eyes gradually became dim and deep.

Han Siti held him still: "Stomach."

Jin Huainian's eyes flashed, as if he knew something, and he hugged her tighter.

"Go to the lounge and take a nap?" The man observed her mood.

She does seem to be acting a bit.

Han Siti nodded pretentiously, put her slender arms around his neck, her eyes watery, and rested her head on his chest.

"Carry me." Han Siti said coquettishly.

Jin Huainian stood up with his arms around her waist, his soft hair swaying with his movements. She seemed to hear his heartbeat, which was very light and fast, and not very real.

The layout of the lounge was no different from that of the bedroom at home. Han Siti lay on the bed and breathed lightly.

Jin Huainian tucked the corner of the quilt for her and turned up the air conditioner temperature a little.

"You go and do your work, I'll take a nap." Han Siti turned over with difficulty. The curtains were drawn, letting in a faint beam of light. Her eyelids trembled, and she was indeed sleepy.

Jin Huainian lowered his eyes and stared at the person on the bed, looking down at him: "Are you feeling better?"

"I've taken medicine." Han Siti murmured.

His jawline was tense, his hands supported on the edge of the bed, he leaned over and kissed the corner of Han Siti's mouth, his dark pupils were a little gloomy.

A brief kiss.

"Call me if you need anything."

Han Siti really felt that no one in the world could be more talkative than him.

Jin Huainian closed the door of the lounge, and it was dark and quiet inside, blocking out the sounds from outside. He fell asleep in a short while.

At noon in autumn, the sunlight is as soft as a layer of gauze, and the sky is azure blue, looking a bit lonely.

Han Siti was called by Jin Huainian to eat. She rubbed her body, her vision blurred, and her slender white thighs were placed on the quilt.

"Get up." Jin Huainian said good-temperedly.

Han Siti didn't move: "You go out first, I'll be there soon."

Jin Huainian looked at his watch and said, "Five minutes."

"Um."

Han Siti simply washed up before coming out, with the ends of her hair wet and hanging down to her chest.

Jin Huainian handed her a cup of ginger and brown sugar water, which was obviously made by her aunt at home. She blew into the cup, then tilted her head back and drank it.

A warmth gradually rose in my stomach.

"I don't want to eat anymore." Han Siti took a few bites, put down his chopsticks and said.

I just drank half a cup of brown sugar water. It took up too much space in my stomach and I felt full after just two bites.

Jin Huainian glanced at her nonchalantly and said in a deep voice, "Eat some more."

Han Siti was a little grumpy: "I can't eat anymore, I'm so full."

"Take a couple of bites."

The two of them were bargaining, and Han Siti was defeated. He lowered his head and dug a few times in the bowl, his cheeks bulging.

The voice was slurred: "Alright."

Jin Huainian: "Yeah."

Han Siti felt better in the afternoon and returned to her workstation. Jin Huainian didn't assign her any work, so she played all afternoon.

She waited until after get off work to go home with Jin Huainian.

night.

The bustling and noisy streets were bustling with people. She sat in the passenger seat and glanced at the man next to her.

Jin Huainian was driving the car, his narrow and cold eyes were icy and extremely deep in the darkness.

Han Siti was almost mesmerized by the scene, but when she came to her senses, she felt a chill down her spine.

A long time passed.

When she looked over again, their eyes met unexpectedly. Han Siti looked away first, interlocking their fingers, extremely nervous.

"Is there something?" Jin Huainian looked indifferent, a little noble and lazy, and spoke in a slow tone.

Han Siti's nails dug into her palm, leaving a small crescent.

"It's okay." She said, and quickly lowered her head.

"You've stared at me several times. Are you really okay?"

Her little emotions were written all over her face, and her stealth skills were poor.

Han Siti gritted her teeth.

"Can't I look at you?" she said.

Jin Huainian raised his eyebrows and chuckled, "Okay."

She wanted to confirm whether Jin Huainian liked her or not, but she didn't know where to start. If she asked him directly, would he admit it?

Somehow I suddenly felt a little awkward.

"You..." Han Siti pursed her lips and swallowed the words back quickly.

Jin Huainian glanced sideways: "Hmm?"

Han Siti covered her face, her skin was very hot, she could imagine how red her face was at this moment.

"you……"

I clearly asked it last time, but I just can’t say it this time.

Jin Huainian narrowed his eyes slightly, did not interrupt, and waited for her to speak again.

"I feel like you like me." Han Siti said, and buried her head, showing no concealment of embarrassment and shyness.

After he finished speaking, Jin Huainian remained silent for a long time.

Han Siti looked up with a puzzled look on her face, and stammered, "I just feel like, do you like me a little bit? Or do you have a good impression of me?"

What answer did she want to hear? Han Siti felt her face flushed and her palms were sweating.

Jin Huainian looked calm.

She asked the same question last time at the manor. Jin Huainian couldn't guarantee whether her next words would make him angry to death.

"What about you?" he asked in return.

Han Siti's eyes flickered slightly, and her heart suddenly calmed down.

"A little bit." Han Siti told the truth. This little bit of liking was insignificant to her.

Jin Huainian's heartbeat slowed down for a moment, and then there was a long and violent attack. He was extremely excited, as if it had been mixed into his pulse and he couldn't help himself.

"You haven't said anything yet." Han Siti looked over and spoke.

In this tug of war in love, it's like a contest of winning or losing.

Jin Huainian curled the corners of his mouth. Soft music was playing in the car, and the atmosphere was brightened to the extreme.

He said he was too.

A little bit.

…………

This Friday, Han Siti was officially hired as a full-time employee.

When she received the red envelope from Jin Huainian in the evening, her eyes lit up and she ran to him.

"Mr. Jin, why are you so nice to your employees?" She spoke in a coquettish voice, her fingers climbing up his chest.

There was a hint of smile in Jin Huainian's eyes when he lowered his eyes. She had done this kind of thing many times, taking advantage of others and acting ungratefully.

He pinched her cheek: "If you don't want it, you can return it."

"How can this be possible? This is your heavy love, how can I return it?" Han Siti said and collected the money.

Watching the balance skyrocket, my heart feels warm. This is more real than some love spoken with words.

"Go and have fun." Jin Huainian still had some work to finish, so he patted Han Siti on the back and said.

Han Siti held her phone and smiled happily: "Then I won't bother you."

She was quite polite today and didn't cling to him. She just left when she was told to. Jin Huainian's brows softened and his gaze returned to the information.

Han Siti sat cross-legged on the sofa and sent the news of her promotion to a regular employee to her mother.

After a while, a call came from the other end.

It’s not too late now, it’s a little after eight o’clock, and my mother probably just finished dinner.

Han Siti stared at the screen of her mobile phone and made a hushing gesture to Cookie, not caring whether Cookie could understand it or not.

Cookie wagged his tail and lay down obediently beside her.
