Chapter 71 I Promise
A hint of amusement flashed across Jin Huainian's eyes, and he looked at her with a sticky gaze.
"Almost a month." His voice was low and pleasant.
Han Siti's mind immediately flashed back to what his mother had said some time ago.
"Jin Huainian has someone he likes"
So at this moment, the man's burning gaze and the speed of the wind blowing in from the balcony were clearly visible.
Is she the one Jin Huainian really likes?
Han Siti's heart suddenly skipped a beat.
Goosebumps all over the floor.
She tried her best to play the role of the canary, but she never expected that her sponsor liked her. Han Siti was in tears.
Grandma took her hand, patted it, and said gently: "Since you are together, just be good and don't quarrel."
They never quarreled, at most it was a one-sided cold war.
"Okay, grandma." Han Siti curled the corners of his mouth and smiled.
Jin Huainian put his arm behind her back, half hugging her. To others, this action seemed both natural and intimate.
"You have to communicate with the Jin family yourself. Dandan is younger than you, so you have to give in to her in everything she does." Grandma advised Jin Huainian.
"I know." Jin Huainian nodded slightly and spoke.
"Go to Dandan's house later and tell her about your relationship."
"good."
Han Siti was stunned. Is the process so fast?
She didn't dare to think about whether she would get married with him after a while.
It seems like I've fallen into his trap.
Han Siti returned home and had lunch, and her mother remained silent.
Her father knew that she was in love with Jin Huainian, but he did not agree. The Jin family had complicated relationships and he was afraid that she would be bullied.
"Dad, don't worry, he's a good guy."
When Dad said he disagreed for the tenth time, Han Siti finally couldn't help but defend Jin Huainian.
"You are still young and just entering society. Don't be fooled by him." This was the first time that her father had been so nagging to her.
"How could I possibly be deceived by him?" Han Siti clapped his hands. "What could he possibly deceive me about? He has no money and no power."
At most, she is a little beautiful.
"If you're ever bullied by a family like his, your mother and I won't be able to help."
Han Siti said with a playful smile: "We are just dating now, and we haven't talked about getting married."
"That's even worse. I don't agree anyway." Dad was firm.
Mom came out of the kitchen and added, "Listen to your dad."
Han Siti sighed, there was nothing she could do.
Before leaving in the evening, Jin Huainian came and Han Siti went to open the door, feeling a little heavy-hearted.
My parents were sitting in the living room, and the TV was playing loudly.
"My parents don't agree with me being with you." Han Siti stood at the entrance, tiptoed, and whispered to him.
Jin Huainian bent down to cooperate, his expression focused. After she finished speaking, he raised his hand and rubbed her head to comfort her.
My parents felt mixed emotions watching this scene.
Han Siti took the gift he handed over, put it on the cabinet, and then took him in.
"Uncle, aunt." Jin Huainian greeted them as he walked, his ink-like eyes suddenly filled with different emotions.
Mom stood up with a polite smile on her face: "Huai Nian, please sit down."
Han Siti poured a glass of water and they started chatting.
She had never been so nervous.
"What do your family say?" his mother asked him.
Jin Huainian watched her bring the water to the table with a lingering gaze. He was slightly distracted and a smile appeared on the corner of his mouth.
"I'll talk to them tomorrow." Jin Huainian was silent for a moment, then said seriously, "I'm sorry to tell you this only now. Actually, Dandan and I have been together for a long time, and our relationship is stable. We're going public this time with the intention of getting married.
Han Siti suddenly turned to look at him: "?"
These words seemed like a promise to her and her parents.
Han Siti calmly pinched his waist and said in a low voice: "When did we plan to get married?"
Jin Huainian took her hand, his cold eyes burning with love.
It looks very disgusting.
Both mom and dad were stunned. Now that things have come to this, what else can they do?
"Do Professor Chen and the others know?" asked Mom.
These are neighbors, and if one of them is unaware of it, it would be embarrassing if they encounter each other.
"I know." Jin Huainian squeezed her hand and replied.
"We only have one daughter, Dandan. We definitely don't want her to be wronged after marrying him. Can you guarantee that she won't be bullied?" Dad said when he saw this.
"I promise."
Jin Huainian's voice was low and his breathing was deep. This was not just a promise, but more of an expectation of a lifelong commitment.
Han Siti blinked her eyelashes rapidly. Why did she feel that things were deviating more and more from her expectations?
Go home at night.
Han Siti was still thinking about this.
"Did you lie to me about something?" She sat cross-legged on the carpet, Cookie rubbing against her.
Jin Huaian looked down at him, his eyebrows raised: "What did I lie to you about?"
"Didn't we agree to be in a relationship? How did it get to the point of marriage? And you ended up meeting their parents for no apparent reason." Han Siti questioned him.
Jin Huainian smiled and said, "Dating, meeting the parents, and getting married, isn't that the same process?"
Han Siti choked and realized what was going on. She was so angry that she wanted to hit him: "Who wants to marry you!"
Jin Huaian said nonchalantly: "Really? Then call your parents now and tell them we're breaking up."
Han Siti frowned. They had been holding hands for hours, acting like they were going to be together forever. If she broke up with them now, her parents would probably be pissed to death.
"Hmph." She turned her head away, as if she didn't want to talk to him anymore.
Jin Huainian stared at her for a few seconds, bent down, put his arms under her armpits, and picked her up easily. Han Siti's slender legs were wrapped around his thin waist.
Cookie followed them and they slipped into the bedroom together.
Under the warm yellow light, his fingertips brushed against her skin intentionally or unintentionally, bringing with them a slightly cool warmth.
Han Siti stared at the ceiling, unable to push him, so she gave up.
The man pulled the corners of his mouth and looked at her affectionately, his eyes burning.
Cookie yelled twice at inappropriate times, probably thinking that Jin Huainian was bullying her.
Han Siti felt shy for no reason and turned her head away to avoid his kiss.
"Cookie's here."
Jin Huainian's eyes were filled with lust: "It can't understand."
"Hurry and take it out."
Han Siti said distractedly, her breathing tangled.
Jin Huainian tapped her forehead before standing up and keeping Cookie away.
Han Siti took two breaths, her eyes blurred and moist.
"Is this okay now?" Jin Huainian came out of the bathroom after washing his hands and chuckled.
Han Siti blushed and hummed softly, her expression unable to hide her shyness.
The hair on her forehead was slightly damp, her eyelashes trembled, and her back was pressed against the soft quilt.
In the quiet room, sounds rise and fall like waves.
Thick ambiguity...
