Chapter 72 Seriously

Chapter 72 Seriously

Ten o'clock in the morning.

When Han Siti woke up, she found that there was no one next to her. She touched the quilt and found it was still cold. She didn't know how long she had been up.

After she finished her meal, Jin Yi came to play with her.

She had not yet told her that she and Jin Huainian were together. Han Siti had been thinking about it for a long time, but the words were on the tip of her tongue and she swallowed them back into her throat.

"Do you have something to tell me?" Jin Yi saw that she looked unhappy and tried to speak several times, but no sound came out.

Han Siti opened her big watery eyes and said very seriously: "I am with your brother."

Jin Yi was silent for a moment and said to her, "Isn't today April Fool's Day?"

"No." Han Siti held a glass of water and drank slowly.

Jin Yi still couldn't believe it: "Really? Are you sure? You didn't lie to me?"

"Really? Are you sure? Do I have the time to lie to you?"

Jin Yi suddenly smiled and jumped in front of her to cheer. Because of her movement, a few drops of water spilled out of the cup in Han Siti's hand.

"Now you've really become my sister-in-law, and my dream has come true." Jin Yi said with a smile: "When did you two get together?"

"Just two days ago." Han Siti looked calm.

"Who confessed first?"

Han Siti thought for a few seconds. Was that a confession? Not really.

"Anyway, he was the one who suggested we get together first."

Jin Yi: "By the way, where is my brother?"

Han Siti finished drinking the water and put the cup on the table: "I don't know, he disappeared when I woke up."

"Okay, tell me how you two got together."

Capital city, Jin's residence.

In the attic, the wind chimes rang again and again, making a pleasant sound until the wind stopped and finally dissipated in the house.

Jin Huainian lit a cigarette outside, smoked it, crushed the cigarette butt, and walked into the hall.

The servant brought over a pot of tea, steaming and moist.

"Why did you come back so suddenly without telling us so that the kitchen could prepare the food?" Grandma came down from upstairs and said as she walked with her crutches.

"Where's grandpa?" Jin Huainian went over to help her.

"He went to the study early in the morning." Grandma sat on the chair and looked at him: "Is there something important?"

"It's quite important." Jin Huainian said.

Hearing this, grandma told the servant to call Mr. Jin down.

"No need, I'll go up later." Jin Huainian took a glance and spoke indifferently.

After a while, mom and dad came over.

Chen Jingzhi could probably guess what it was about, and she signaled Jin Huainian to speak slowly with her eyes.

Jin Huainian lowered his eyes, his expression solemn, his whole body seemed to be covered with a layer of ice chips, and he was full of hostility.

"What happened? Don't scare grandma." Grandma looked worried.

Jin Huaian was silent for a while, his eyes dimmed, and he said, "I'm in love."

Grandma frowned, but her expression remained unchanged. "Whose girl is this?"

"You've seen it, Han Dandan."

Grandma was completely silent, and turned her head away as if she was sulking.

Chen Jingzhi sighed and began to mediate with a somewhat helpless look on her face: "Mom, your grandson finally found someone he likes, and you won't let him date. How sad he must be."

His mother is also a flamboyant person.

"I didn't say he couldn't date her, but why did he start dating Yiyi? That girl isn't suitable."

"Her parents and Huaian's grandparents are neighbors, and the whole family is very nice," said Chen Jingzhi.

"Do her parents agree?" Grandma said in a bad tone, "She's working as your secretary at the company, and you're dating her. You're lucky her parents don't scold you."

There was no emotion in Jin Huainian's eyes, and a faint smile hung on the corners of his mouth: "Yesterday, I told her family."

"They agreed?"

"They also look at our attitude."

Grandma's brows were filled with helplessness as she pondered her thoughts.

You can't just say they don't want to, and it wouldn't be nice to turn the girl away.

"Do you really like her?" Grandma said, "If you're just playing around, I advise you to break up with her right away."

There was a darkness in Jin Huainian's eyes, making it impossible to detect his emotions.

"Seriously."

Chen Jingzhi said, "Don't worry, Mom. He told me a long time ago that he liked that girl."

"You're hiding everything from me?"

"I'm afraid you'll be angry."

Grandma tried to make him see the reality: "Huai Nian, you should take a long-term view. If we quarrel in the future, I will see who will give in."

Han Siti has the temper of a little girl, and her grandson is not someone who can be coaxed.

"My parents often quarrel, but they have been together until now, haven't they?" Jin Huainian seriously dragged his parents into the battlefield.

"That's because your father knows how to go down the stairs and coax people."

Jin Huainian's eyes were red and his gaze was dark: "My dad can do it, why can't I?"

Grandma was speechless and was choked by his anger several times.

"Mom, go back to your room and rest. I'll talk to him." Chen Jingzhi said.

Grandma didn't make any move: "Find some time to bring her back to see her. Since you like her, don't regret it later."

"No." Jin Huainian continued.

As grandma went upstairs, she turned around and said, "Let me talk to your grandpa."

"Thank you, grandma."

After she went up, Chen Jingzhi pursed her lips and said to him, "Look how much your grandma loves you. You are such a grown-up now, don't let us worry about you."

Jin Huainian's brows relaxed, and his voice was low: "I know."

"So you're really together?"

"How could this be false?"

Chen Jingzhi smiled and said, "After all, the last time I saw Si Ti, she didn't seem too happy to be with you."

Jin Huainian looked at her dimly. He didn't argue with her. He just said, "Let's go," and walked out.

His mother didn't keep him, and she looked at his back in a daze.

It was the first time that her son said so seriously that he liked a girl. It was quite surprising and rare.

"Your son has become like you were back then."

"It wasn't as easy for me to marry you back then as it is now."

“………“

——

Jin Huainian came back around noon.

Han Siti was sitting on the carpet with Jin Yi putting on makeup. When she saw her husband come back, she asked, "Where have you been?"

"Back to the Jin residence." Jin Huainian glanced over and said slowly.

Han Siti was stunned: "You won't tell them."

"Yeah." The man's face was calm.

Jin Yi, however, was very concerned about the outcome of the matter. She immediately took over the conversation: "Did Grandpa and Grandma agree?"

Jin Huainian raised his chin, the answer was very obvious.

"Then there will be a turning point in my love life." Jin Yi smiled foolishly.

Han Siti, however, said coquettishly, "Why didn't you tell me?"

"Didn't I say that yesterday?" Jin Huainian curled the corners of his lips, with a faint smile in his eyes.

"Then you have to tell me again today." Han Siti becomes unreasonable once she gets angry.

Jin Huainian stared at it leisurely, his body and mind accustomed to it.
