Chapter 73 Congratulations

Chapter 73 Congratulations

Jin Yi on the side felt that he was glowing, very brightly.

"Wake you up and then scold me?" Jin Huai lowered his eyes with a faint smile on his lips.

He was beating around the bush again about her bad temper when she woke up.

Han Siti pursed her lips. This topic didn't make sense, so she immediately changed the subject: "Are you sure they agree?"

"Agreed."

Jin Huainian stopped playing dumb and looked at her intently. It seemed as if this affirmation was meant for her alone.

Her eyebrows moved slightly, and her warm breath came one after another, arousing her restless heart.

"Dandan, you must be happy. Don't let my four years of matchmaking for you go to waste." Jin Yi put his arms around her neck and rubbed against her.

Han Siti didn't know how to respond to her, nor did she quite understand what the definition of happiness was.

Jin Yi hugged her for a while, suddenly remembered something, then raised his head with a smile and looked at Jin Huainian.

"Brother, is there a dinner party in a couple of days?" Jin Yi asked.

Jin Huainian nodded slowly.

"Can you give me two invitations?" Jin Yi explained hastily, then played the victim: "Xie Xing'an is in the early stages of starting a business. I want to help him and let him go over there to make some connections. Is that okay?"

Jin Huainian remained silent, as if thinking, as a capitalist like him, why should he help with things that have no benefits for him.

Jin Yi thought that he would most likely refuse.

So, the eyes looking for help fell on Han Siti.

Han Siti was confused.

"Help me." Jin Yi's voice came out from between his teeth.

Han Siti blinked and seriously thought of a solution: "How about we both kneel down and beg him."

“………”

Han Siti looked at her melancholy expression and sighed.

"Xie Xing'an is a nice person." Han Siti said something nice to help out, though she lacked confidence.

Jin Yi quickly followed up: "Yes, he is very good to me, otherwise I would not be with him."

Han Siti nodded heavily: "Well, you will all be a family from now on anyway, so it's okay to help each other."

The two of them sang in unison, their acting exaggerated, as if they were afraid that others wouldn't notice.

"You're right." Jin Yi pursed his lips and glanced at the man standing aside without making any movement.

Jin Huainian looked at it for a few seconds in a relaxed manner.

He said casually, "Come and get it tomorrow."

Jin Yi's eyes curved and his voice rose: "Thank you, brother!"

Jin Huaian snorted coldly and said quietly, "Don't regret doing so much for him later."

Jin Yi disagreed: "Brother, you are so good to Dandan, have you ever regretted it?"

The air froze for a few seconds.

Han Siti raised her eyes, met his gaze, and her pupils trembled slightly.

He had distant eyebrows and deep features, and he exuded indifference and unclear emotions.

Han Siti was unhappy: "I'm also very nice to him."

Jin Yi leaned against her and smiled, "So love is mutual."

Jin Huainian “…”

———

Under the bright lights of the banquet hall, glasses clinked and all kinds of desserts were placed on the table, each one exuding luxury.

The atmosphere was thick with a group of men in suits and women in evening gowns moving around the hall with ease.

The sound of high heels sparsely stepped on the ground, and the wine glasses clinked together loudly and crisply, but in the end, they were drowned out by the soft music.

Han Siti wore a black evening dress that reached above her knees. It was a puffy tulle style and had sparkling diamonds on the chest. The girl had fair skin and beautiful looks, which outlined her beautiful figure.

Standing under the light, she looks pretty.

Han Siti followed the man, wearing high heels, and felt a little tired.

He was naturally the focus of the crowd. Wherever he went, many people came to toast him.

"If you're tired, go sit for a while." Jin Huainian bent down, tilted his head, and spoke softly in her ear.

"Okay." Han Siti didn't act pretentiously. After saying that, he turned around and sat on the high stool over there.

She played with her phone for a while, and then Jin Yi came.

"Aren't you going to accompany Xie Xing'an?" she asked.

Jin Yi curled his lips: "It's okay, he can do it alone."

“How’s his business going?”

"It's going pretty smoothly. All we need is investors."

Han Siti took a small piece of cake and ate it slowly.

The two of them were chatting intently and didn't notice a figure approaching.

"Secretary Han." A slightly hoarse male voice called her.

Han Siti looked over subconsciously. The man was wearing a black suit, gold-rimmed glasses, and had a smile on his face. He was waving at them.

Jin Yi was puzzled: "Ji Tingcheng?"

Han Siti was stunned and said hello.

"Does what you said last time still count?" Ji Tingcheng walked closer, looked at her and said.

Han Siti narrowed her eyes slightly, a little confused: "What's the matter?"

Ji Tingcheng smiled and explained: "Last time at the company, I didn't add you on WeChat, so can I add you now?"

She thought for a second, wondering whether to refuse.

"Boss Ji, can you add my girlfriend on WeChat? What's going on?"

Jin Huainian walked over slowly, his eyebrows and eyes were deep, and the light cast a shadow over him.

Ji Tingcheng paused, his eyes wandering, and asked again uncertainly: "Girlfriend?"

He looked at Han Siti, obviously wanting her to give an answer.

Han Siti's hair was draped over her shoulders and her skin was so white that it seemed to be glowing. Even though she was not the center of attention at the banquet, many people noticed her.

"Yes."

Han Siti answered easily. Her parents knew everything anyway, so these people who had nothing to do with her life didn't matter.

Jin Huainian raised his eyebrows, his expression relaxed, and there was a hint of provocation in his eyes when he looked at the man.

Ji Tingcheng sighed, he was still a step too late.

"Congratulations," he said.

Jin Huainian raised his glass and said, "I hope Mr. Ji can find a girlfriend soon."

It was undoubtedly another stab in his heart.

If you spend a long time with Jin Huaian, you will know that he is a very sinister person who holds grudges.

Ji Tingcheng left, and Han Siti glanced back at him.

Jin Huainian laughed: "Why? Still want to add him on WeChat?"

"Who wants to join?" Han Siti murmured.

Jin Huainian whispered in her ear, his voice clear and cold: "You have a boyfriend."

Han Siti rubbed her cheek against his palm and said coquettishly, "Well, you are my boyfriend."

Jin Huainian's movements were gentle, his eyes focused, and his fingertips caressed her fair and smooth skin.

"Have fun." He touched the girl's head, said this, and left.

Han Siti supported his chin with a gloomy expression.

Jin Yi smiled and said, "See? My brother was really jealous just now."

"I'm not blind," she snorted.

"My brother is gone, and your heart is gone with him?" Jin Yi joked when he saw that she looked uninterested.

Han Siti was speechless: "..."

The dinner was held in a very grand manner. The exquisite crystal chandeliers cast a cool light, the plates were neatly arranged, and everyone was chatting and laughing.
