Chapter 74 Waste of Time

Chapter 74 Waste of Time

Among the businessmen, Xie Xing'an does look younger.

Jin Yi just looked at him, his eyes not moving at all, extremely focused.

"Hey, is that Qu Qinglin?" Suddenly, there was another person in Jin Yi's eyes, blocking Xie Xing'an, and then hurried away in an instant.

Han Siti glanced over there and then looked away.

She was wearing a long golden dress that sparkled under the light. Her skin was fair and she had a gentle smile on her face.

Behind her, two meters away, stood a man with a short haircut and high brow bones. One could clearly see the taut muscles under his suit. He looked tall and strong.

"The man behind her is Zhou Jingchen." Jin Yi pointed: "Zhou Jingchen's family is quite wealthy, so it's not surprising that he came here."

Han Siti looked over and saw that person turning around. His eyes wandered around aimlessly and soon locked onto their position.

Han Siti cleared her throat: "Is he looking at us?"

"It seems so." Jin Yi narrowed his eyes. You are too sure.

Zhou Jingchen walked over holding the woman's hand.

He looked rather fierce, but there was a smile on his face, which made people feel a chill.

Han Siti took a sip of wine and watched them approach.

"Jin Yi? You've grown so big now?" Zhou Jingchen greeted him.

Jin Yi smiled awkwardly: "After so many years, I must have grown up."

Zhou Jingchen stood beside the table, his shadow falling and blocking most of his view.

"Do you remember who I am?"

"Of course I remember, Brother Jingchen." Jin Yi took a deep breath and said.

"This is your sister Qinglin. You two met some time ago, right?"

"Yes."

Zhou Jingchen's eyes quickly fell on Han Siti again. He smiled and said, "Who is this?"

Jin Yi didn't think twice and quickly responded: "My sister-in-law."

Han Siti's body stiffened. She touched Jin Yi calmly and told her not to talk nonsense.

Zhou Jingchen didn't think about Jin Huainian. He nodded and didn't ask any further questions.

"Where's your brother?" he said.

Jin Yi raised his chin to that side, indicating the location.

"Has he been doing well these past few years?"

"It's fine." Jin Yi couldn't help but gossip: "By the way, how did you two fall out?"

Zhou Jingchen touched the back of his head and said, "They were all trivial matters. Looking back now, I was indeed a bit silly."

He didn't say why and just turned a blind eye.

"Then I'll go find your brother." Zhou Jingchen stretched out his fingers and pulled Qu Qinglin, moving closer to that side.

Jin Yi waved his hand.

As the two figures left, Jin Yi said, "This seems like they're on the verge of reconciliation."

Han Siti's tone was calm, with a hint of sigh in it: "Your brother is not easy to coax."

"Who knows about the friendship between men?"

The banquet was still going on, the music changed one after another, and in the middle of the hall, someone had already started dancing, their long skirts fluttering with their steps, looking beautiful and charming.

As night fell, Han Siti felt a little sleepy. She supported her chin with her hand and her head nodded again and again, almost hitting the table.

Suddenly, a cold white arm appeared out of nowhere, with clear veins, just enough to hold her face.

He smiled and used his other hand to fix her hair.

Han Siti sat up straight, feeling exhausted. She wanted to hug him, but suddenly realized that this was a public place.

"Brother, has Zhou Jingchen come to see you?" Jin Yi was already accustomed to the interactions between them.

Jin Huainian nodded calmly.

"Have you guys reconciled?"

He frowned slightly and said, "Yeah."

Han Siti immediately became unhappy and looked at him with anger in her eyes: "He coaxed you into submission in just a few minutes, but I coaxed you for a whole day before."

Jin Huainian lowered his eyes, his palms supporting the table. Now this posture looked a bit like she was trapped in his arms.

"I don't want to waste time on someone who is unimportant." A hint of tenderness flashed across Jin Huainian's eyes as he stared straight at her.

The ends of Han Siti's hair were wrapped around his knuckles, emitting a very faint fragrance.

This reason successfully convinced her.

Han Siti blinked, looked at the bright stars and moon outside the window, and said softly, "Let's go outside and take a look."

Jin Huainian nodded slightly and ruffled the loose hair on her forehead.

The dark night sky was dotted with a few stars. The shadows were stretched out long by the lights. The music was blocked by the thick walls. It was quiet outside.

Han Siti rubbed his arm with her fingers and fell weakly into his arms.

There was no one around, so she didn't care that much.

"Give me a kiss." Han Siti stood on tiptoe, grabbed his clothes, and leaned her head upwards.

Jin Huai smiled young, tapped her forehead, then leaned over, their breaths collided, and he touched that soft spot.

Lust was about to overflow from their eyes, and they kissed for a long time before separating.

The originally scorching air turned slightly cool.

Jin Huainian lowered his head again and kissed her neck, more like touching her with his lips, gently and delicately.

"When can you go back?" Han Siti asked him.

"Are you sleepy?"

She nodded, with a hint of moisture at the corners of her eyes.

Jin Huainian took her hand and looked at her with an especially tender gaze.

"Let's go."

"Now?" Han Siti asked doubtfully.

"Um."

Han Siti was obviously in a better mood.

The driver drove to the parking lot. In the night of Beijing, the buildings were magnificent and golden. Under the neon lights, the streets were bustling with people coming and going.

Han Siti buried her head in his arms and breathed in the warm breath from his body.

"Jin Huainian?" Suddenly, someone called him.

Han Siti subconsciously raised her head and followed the source of the sound to see Zhou Jingchen and Qu Qinglin.

What a coincidence.

"What are you doing..." Zhou Jingchen wiped his eyes to make sure he was not seeing things.

Jin Huaian said in a cold tone: "What's the matter?"

"I ran into you guys right after I came out." He smiled and said, "Is this your girlfriend?"

"Yeah." Jin Huainian still had his hands on her waist in an intimate posture.

Han Siti poked out a pair of eyes and greeted: "Hi."

The man was stunned: "It's you."

At this time, the driver drove over, the cold wind was howling, and Han Siti couldn't wait to get into the back seat.

Zhou Jingchen was also trying to find a way out for himself: "You guys go first, be careful."

Jin Huainian ignored him and sat down, feeling a slightly cool breeze.

The car drove away.

Zhou Jingchen squeezed Qu Qinglin's hand and said, "So, he really does have a girlfriend."

Qu Qinglin smiled at him: "I told you last time, but you didn't believe it."

Zhou Jingchen said perfunctorily: "I believe you, I believe you."

The woman's eyes dimmed for a moment. Perhaps her original persistence had long been worn away by the passage of time.

The moonlight grew brighter, a thin layer of mist rose in the air, and this autumn was getting colder.
