Chapter 77 A Promise

Chapter 77 A Promise

Wen Zhiyun laughed a few times, having expected her to do this.

"Then eat first, but don't hang up the phone."

Jin Yi took a deep breath: "Mom..."

"It's okay, mommy has plenty of time, baby, eat first."

At first glance, it did sound quite considerate, but Jin Yi knew from the tone that this matter was clearly not going to get over today.

Jin Yi's palms were sweating and her heart was beating faster and faster. She was afraid that her mother would be angry and that Xie Xing'an would be hurt.

Xie Xingan suddenly shook her back, a faint smile on his face, more like a soothing tone: "It's okay."

Jin Yi used his other hand, his fingertips trembling slightly, to slowly turn on the camera.

She aimed it at herself first, blocking the view to the side.

"Mom..." she shouted, and turned the camera to the opposite side, with Jin Huainian and Han Siti in the frame.

Wen Zhiyun looked at the man and woman in her arms and said with a smile, "Huai Nian, bring Si Ti home to play more often."

Jin Huainian looked over with deep eyes and replied lightly: "Okay."

Han Siti smiled shyly. She was the best at pretending to be good in front of her elders.

"What else?" Wen Zhiyun said.

Jin Yi changed the subject a little awkwardly: "Mom, let me show you what we had for lunch today."

"I've finished reading it." Wen Zhiyun said perfunctorily.

There is no way.

Jin Yi put his head close to Xie Xing'an, and the camera framed the two of them clearly and perfectly.

"Mom, this is my boyfriend." I suddenly felt more courageous at this moment despite originally lacking confidence.

Wen Zhiyun took a closer look and found that he looked like a good match for her daughter, a talented man and a beautiful woman.

"Hello, Auntie." Xie Xing'an pursed his lips slightly, and his eyelashes concealed a trace of confusion.

My heart is surging.

"What's your name?" Wen Zhiyun said indifferently, and it was hard to tell what her mood was.

Jin Yi answered before he could: "Xie Xing'an, Mom, his name is Xie Xing'an."

Every word stimulated her heart.

Wen Zhiyun looked at her with a hint of doting: "Look how anxious you are."

"Mom, do you have anything else to say?"

Jin Yi was extremely nervous and wanted to hang up the phone immediately. His anxious thoughts were written all over his face.

"Xie Xing'an...it's a nice name." Mom said thoughtfully, "When will you bring him home?"

"mom……"

If I bring it home and my grandparents find out, who knows what kind of fuss they will cause.

"What? You still want to hide it?"

"No."

Wen Zhiyun sighed: "Just decide to be together, don't worry about the rest, okay?"

Jin Yi felt a little guilty. In her relationship, her mother helped her shield herself from many troubles.

"I understand, thank you, Mom." Jin Yi nodded.

"Be good and go home sometime."

"good."

After hanging up the phone, Jin Yi breathed a sigh of relief.

"I was scared to death." She said, leaning her head on Xie Xing'an's shoulder.

My hands are numb.

Xie Xingan patted her on the back, lowered his eyes and looked at her intently, then whispered, "I'm sorry."

Jin Yi raised his head: "What do you have to apologize for?"

The gap in the family is not their fault.

"But mom agreed, so things are halfway going smoothly." Jin Yi smiled sweetly.

During your freshman year, all your dreams and wishes will come true.

Han Siti took a sip of water and looked at Jin Huainian. It seemed that he had never let her worry about his family affairs.

All sounds are blocked out.

He is a pretty good boyfriend. Han Siti curled the corners of her lips unconsciously.

"Brother, what do you think will happen if grandpa and grandma find out that I'm in love?" Jin Yi poked the rice in the bowl.

"What should we do?" Jin Huainian said slowly, his voice as hoarse as crushed sand: "You've been an adult for so long, and you don't think about the consequences of what you do?"

"I'm a little scared." Jin Yi said in a low voice.

Han Siti pursed her lips and nudged the man with her elbow: "Speak in a nicer tone."

Jin Huainian reached out to help her smooth out her bangs, with a faint smile on his face.

"Find some time to go back and explain everything to them."

"Okay, I understand."

Jin Yi agreed.

Eat a meal at a time.

Han Siti and Jin Huainian took a car back to the company. She opened the window a little and the cold air blew in, but it was not biting, just a gentle breeze.

"They are so happy." Han Siti looked at Jin Yi and Xie Xingan from an outsider's perspective.

For this relationship, one quit his job to start a business, and the other fought against his family.

"Aren't we happy?" Jin Huainian glanced at her smiling face.

She looks particularly beautiful when she smiles, with lively eyes, red lips and white teeth, making people unable to take their eyes off her.

Han Siti followed his lead and said, "We are happy too."

"Are you serious?" Jin Huainian was a little skeptical.

Han Siti said with a forced smile: "Of course! I will be happy if you spend money on me."

"You're quite good at calculating." He raised the corners of his lips slightly, with an ambiguous meaning.

"What's the matter? Can't you spend some money on your girlfriend?"

"When didn't I buy it for you?"

This is indeed the case. Han Siti stopped when he saw that things were going well: "I love you."

Jin Huainian also enjoyed it and nodded slightly, with more interest in his eyes.

They entered the company one after another.

Han Siti probably distanced herself from him, but she couldn't resist the pair of sharp eyes at the front desk.

"Secretary Han, I discovered something." She touched her chin mysteriously.

Han Siti didn't understand what was going on and thought she was going to gossip again, and excitement appeared in her eyes.

"What's going on?"

"Why do you and Mr. Jin always come in one after the other?"

Han Siti was stunned, her eyelashes blinking faster, and a smile appeared on her lips: "Did Mr. Jin go in just now? What a coincidence! If I had walked faster, I could have taken the elevator."

The receptionist smiled and said, "How come it's such a coincidence?"

"Maybe he and I were lovers in our previous life?" Han Siti looked at her calmly.

Nothing unusual.

She was shocked to hear such blunt words and quickly covered Han Siti's mouth.

"What's the matter?" Han Siti looked confused.

The woman thought she was still young: "If others hear this, they will gossip about it."

"Oh, okay." Han Siti made a gesture to shut up.

She is sweet-talker, and even though many people in the company don't like her coquettish personality, she still has some good relationships with people.

The receptionist suddenly moved closer to her and said, "There's been a rumor going around the company that Mr. Jin has a girlfriend, and you're the first person I thought of."

Han Siti didn't understand who started the rumor, even though it was true...

"Thank you for your good wishes. When I become the boss lady of Jin Group one day, I will give you a bag."

The receptionist thought she was joking.

"Then you're quite competitive." She smiled and said, "I'll remember that."

"It's a deal."

Han Siti pretended to be confused and evasive the whole time, but her interest in the position of Mrs. Jin was obvious.

So she gave up the idea.

Having said that, every time Mr. Jin and Secretary Han go to and from get off work, they go one after the other, in a very regular manner, which is quite strange.
