Chapter 202 Misty Rain Pavilion (30)
The group headed southeast towards the Tower of Life and Death, but since they were all wanted by the Misty Rain Terrace, they had to change their appearance and put on disguises.
There were more than ten of them in total. Lin Feibai and Hu Jingchen were both from Pingze and had been rescued by Jiang Xiangyun, so they were naturally very close to him. Yao Li was loyal to Jiang Xiangyun, and Lu Liyu had a close relationship with Jiang Xiangyun. On the other hand, Wu Ren, Wu Yi and others who had been rescued by Jiang Xiangyun, although they looked down on Xiao Qingyan, were all from Wangyue and unconsciously gathered together. However, Xiao Qingyan had no interest in this and was not suitable to be the leader, so they gradually moved closer to Jiang Xiangyun. At first, the group implicitly regarded Jiang Xiangyun as their leader.
Jiang Xiangyun was naturally pleased with the outcome, especially since he had promised these people to break their life-and-death pact.
Jiang Gu and Wei Feng, on the other hand, remained on the fringes of the group.
Since that kiss, Wei Feng has become extra attentive to his cultivation, but even so, he still spends most of his day clinging to Jiang Gu.
Jiang Gu originally thought that after reassuring him, she could have some peace and quiet, but to her surprise, it backfired. Even when Wei Feng didn't speak, his sticky and affectionate gaze followed her everywhere.
The group entered the city to rest and then split up to stay at inns.
Jiang Gu chose an inn furthest from the city gate. Accompanying him were the brothers Wu Ren and Wu Yi, as well as Xiao Qingyan. They agreed to meet at the south gate of the city early the next morning. Exhausted from their journey these past few days, they went to their rooms to rest early.
Wei Feng naturally went into a room with Jiang Gu. During this time, Jiang Gu was either cultivating or discussing matters with Jiang Xiangyun. Wei Feng even felt that his treatment was not as good as before.
Jiang Gu set up the magic array in the room and looked out the window. Their room was on the third floor of the Zaiyun Inn, located on the street in the center of Yong'an City. From the room, they could see the ancient statue in the square. The statue held a pen in its right hand, its left palm facing up, and looked down. However, its left hand was empty, and countless scrolls floated behind it. It seemed to be a literary immortal.
Jiang Gu stared at the feet of the statue. The carved flowers looked somewhat familiar to him, but before he could think about it carefully, an arm suddenly wrapped around his waist, a hot body pressed against him from behind, and a hand reached out to close the window in front of him.
"Master." Wei Feng hugged his waist tightly and pressed his cheek affectionately against his neck.
Wei Feng had been trying to get close to him for days but hadn't found an opportunity. Today, he finally got his wish. What excited him even more was that he was now legitimate, and his master had no reason to push him away anymore. He softened his voice and said, "My primordial spirit hurts so much."
Jiang Gu's protective formation faltered, and his shoulders and back tensed slightly. He was not used to being so intimate with others, especially being hugged from behind, which made him subconsciously want to push the person away.
He grabbed Wei Feng's wrist, forcing him to turn around and create distance between them. He then sent a wisp of spiritual energy into Wei Feng's sea of consciousness to investigate. "It's not a big problem."
Wei Feng's primordial spirit has improved considerably these past few days, especially after he began to cultivate diligently. It no longer tends to collapse at any moment. Jiang Gu considers this pain insignificant, but seeing him groaning and half-dead, Jiang Gu still added a few more pain-relieving formations for him.
"Go cultivate." He frowned and shooed Wei Feng away when he saw Wei Feng trying to crawl into his arms again.
Wei Feng looked at him pitifully, "In these five days, we haven't said more than twenty sentences in total. You said more than three hundred sentences to Jiang Xiangyun, and ten sentences to that guy surnamed Xiao."
"..." Jiang Gu looked at him with a complicated expression, "If you have this much free time, you might as well cultivate for a few more hours."
"I need to rest for a while," Wei Feng said confidently, then cautiously added, "Master, you didn't agree to become my Daoist partner just to trick me into cultivating, did you?"
However, as soon as he asked the question, he immediately denied it, saying, "It's definitely not that, it's because you like me too."
He insisted on getting close to Jiang Gu, lowered his head and bit his shoulder. His sharp canine teeth instantly pierced through his clothes and pressed against his flesh. He then licked the flesh through the clothes in a fawning manner and said indistinctly, "Master, let's communicate in spirit, so that my injury can heal faster."
Jiang Gu pushed the person away and said expressionlessly, "The dual cultivation method will make people overly dependent on each other, and you are very likely to become addicted to the Six Desires Path if you develop bad habits. It will be a loss if you do not develop bad habits. You need not mention the matter of spiritual intercourse again."
“I can stay sober.” Wei Feng said, not what he really meant. He didn’t want to cultivate during spiritual communion at all; he just wanted to drag Jiang Gu along and indulge in pleasure. He said sincerely, “Master, let me try, and I will prove it to you.”
Jiang Gu lifted his eyelids and glanced at him, then placed his cool palm on his lower back and pressed down lightly.
Wei Feng's breathing became erratic. He suddenly gripped Jiang Gu's arm tightly, his legs went weak, and he almost knelt down before his master. A vivid crimson color crept up from his ears to his neck, and even the ghost tattoos on his body trembled.
Seeing that he was hunching over unnaturally, Jiang Gu glanced down at the hem of his clothes that he was trying to hide and scoffed, "Is this how you prove it?"
Wei Feng desperately suppressed the lust welling up in his eyes, grabbing Jiang Gu with shame and indignation, "I just..."
“You just don’t have the strong will to control yourself.” Jiang Gu interrupted his explanation without any mercy. “The hardships of the Six Desires Path are no less than those of the Heartless Path. Right now, you simply enjoy the pleasure of being dominated by desires.”
Wei Feng blushed. "I didn't."
"No need to rush to defend yourself," Jiang Gu said calmly. "Find a way to resolve this matter. The cultivation method I taught you is not just for show; you need to comprehend it yourself."
Seeing that Wei Feng was somewhat embarrassed by what he said, Jiang Gu, thinking himself considerate, stopped scolding him and left the room.
"I'll go next door."
As the door opened and closed, Jiang Gu's presence in the room suddenly faded. Wei Feng gritted his teeth in resentment, his expression becoming somewhat ferocious from endurance.
Although his master's words made a lot of sense and even gave him some pointers on how to resolve the issue, he didn't want to listen.
He wasn't controlled by the Six Desires Path. Otherwise, during his five years of solitude in Wangyue, he would have easily found someone to cultivate with and have spiritual communion with. He could even remain unmoved by those "Jiang Gu" figures in the illusion. His willpower was incredibly strong. He wanted spiritual communion simply because... he wanted to be closer to his master.
Wei Feng wiped his face haphazardly, staring at the wall separating him from Jiang Gu with a growing intensity in his gaze, but his mind was clearer than ever before.
If he has to listen to Jiang Gu in everything, then he can forget about ever touching Jiang Gu's finger again in this lifetime.
Don't even think about it.
He gritted his teeth in resentment, but when he remembered the press Jiang Gu had made on his lower back, the blush that had finally faded crept back up.
Master must have known for a long time that he was a divine harpoon, and that his shoulder blades and lower back were particularly sensitive. He even deliberately used his spiritual power. When he was impersonating Zhou Huaiming, he repeatedly touched his wing roots and tail, which was simply... extremely wicked.
He couldn't help but recall Jiang Gu's aggressive gaze from before, and his blood, which had cooled down, began to boil again.
It was as if he had worked so hard for so long, finally peeling away Jiang Gu's cold and hard shell, and glimpsing a true corner of this person through the cracks. Hidden beneath the coldness and ruthlessness was the wickedness and desire that only he knew, and the limited tenderness that could only be revealed on extremely rare occasions.
Even this tiny bit was enough to drive him wild with desire, making him unable to stop.
“Master…” He murmured his address to Jiang Gu between his lips, his sticky, hoarse voice filled with a twisted affection and respect.
Spiritual communion is not enough.
Spiritual connection is far from enough.
Desire grew wildly and took root in his bones and skin. Wei Feng nervously twitched the corner of his mouth. The wall of awe that Jiang Gu had built up over the years was overthrown by him with a trembling mix of fear and excitement.
In a state of endless fear, anxiety, suspicion, and denial, he finally and resolutely betrayed his habitual obedience and reverence for Jiang Gu.
——
Wei Feng was unusually quiet all night.
Jiang Gu came looking for someone early in the morning and found him sitting cross-legged on the bed, which made him feel a rare sense of relief.
“Master.” Wei Feng noticed his arrival, opened his eyes, and gave him a bright smile, as if yesterday’s embarrassment meant nothing to him.
However, this wasn't the first time he'd been rejected, so he probably wouldn't care too much.
Seeing that his spiritual energy had become even more abundant, Jiang Gu nodded, "Well done."
Wei Feng got off the bed and walked to Jiang Gu's side. His clothes were loose, revealing a large area of his fair chest. Black patterns spread across his waist and abdomen, and beautiful silver-blue shark scales were faintly visible on his lower abdomen. He exuded a sensual aura, and Jiang Gu was caught off guard and his face was filled with his scent.
"..." His attention had been focused on spiritual energy, and he belatedly noticed Wei Feng's dissolute appearance. His gaze paused for a moment before he frowned. "Put your clothes on properly."
Wei Feng asked in confusion, "Master doesn't like it?"
Jiang Gu did not answer, but only said, "If the scales are retracted, the puppet's body cannot withstand it."
"Master, touch it before you take it." Wei Feng suddenly grabbed his hand and pressed it against his lower abdomen.
The slippery, cool scales made Jiang Gu's face darken further, but then he heard Wei Feng laugh and say, "Master, would you like to touch your lower back? The scales there are the most beautiful."
He stared intently at Jiang Gu, grabbed his hand and placed it on his lower back. His breathing suddenly became hotter, but remained steady. "Look, Master, I can control myself."
"It's acceptable," Jiang Gu replied indifferently, trying to pull his hand back.
Wei Feng grabbed his hand, his smile widening through gritted teeth, his aura growing stronger. "Then can you come back and stay here?"
"We'll be leaving today." Jiang Gu looked up impatiently, but Wei Feng grabbed his hand and placed it on his shoulder blade, his palm and fingertips touching a soft, furry surface.
Wei Feng said in a hoarse voice, "Then we'll wait for the next city."
Jiang Gu felt his fingers being enveloped by warm downy feathers at the base of the wing. He looked at Wei Feng in confusion, "What exactly do you want to do?"
Wei Feng suddenly leaned in and licked the corner of his lips.
"I'm seducing you, Master."
