Chapter 77 Youthful Spring Robes (Twenty-Three)

Chapter 77 Youthful Spring Robes (Twenty-Three)

After Wei Feng's tribulation, the ghost patterns on his body grew extremely fast. Jiang Gu had also sealed all his dantian meridians to protect his Dao heart. These cold, sticky black strips easily burrowed into his skin, binding him within them. Then, the huge wings closed, plunging the surroundings into darkness.

In the darkness, a pair of cold, white eyes were very close to him. He could even hear Wei Feng's heavy breathing. A slightly warm tongue tentatively and gently licked his earlobe. When he didn't react, the "person" moved closer and sniffed hard.

Jiang Gu smelled a very faint fragrance, but then the dark green saliva burned through the thin fabric of his clothes and fell onto his skin, leaving a burning pain.

Wei Feng lowered his eyes, then slowly licked away the marks, leaving several dark red marks on the exposed, fair skin.

Jiang Gu coldly observed his surroundings. His meridians and dantian were almost entirely occupied by ghost patterns, making him unable to move at all. If he wanted to use spiritual power, he would have to release his meridians and dantian, but that would inevitably damage his Dao heart, which would be a loss. He had manipulated the abilities of that ghost-faced, white-eyed man before. If Wei Feng could kill those Mahayana cultivators, he could naturally kill him as well.

This dirty and ugly thing, oblivious to its own mortality, came closer and gently rubbed its wet nose against his mouth. Just as Jiang Gu was about to speak, it grabbed his hand and covered his ear.

It had a warm, soft, downy feel that seemed completely out of place with his appearance.

But that familiar feel instantly made Jiang Gu's face darken.

“Mine… is just as soft as its.” Wei Feng gripped his wrist tightly, his heart filled with overwhelming jealousy, but his words were hoarse and pitiful.

Jiang Gu's wrist bones had been crushed. If it weren't for the divine artifact that formed the bones, his wrist would probably be a pile of rotten flesh by now.

"Touch it...it's the same." Wei Feng persistently tried to get him to touch it, but Jiang Gu's fingers simply covered his ear without making any movement to touch it. So countless ghost patterns burrowed into Jiang Gu's palm, trying to control the movement of his hand. He was so jealous that he went crazy, and he was also extremely aggrieved. His voice was filled with anger, "Touch it!"

Jiang Gu sneered: "You think you're worthy? Ugly thing."

The monster before him froze on the spot, its terrifying white eyes turning red. It touched its hideous ram horns with its hands, which had translucent webbed membranes and black nails, and then touched the cold scales on its face. The ghostly patterns wriggling at the corners of its eyes slapped the back of its hand. It couldn't see what it looked like, but it still couldn't give up and touched the protruding wing roots on its back and its tail covered in sticky scales. It seemed that the only thing on its body that could be called beautiful was the pair of snow-white furry ears that it had just swallowed and stolen from Chi Xue.

Wei Feng bared his four fangs at Jiang Gu and roared, "I'm not ugly!"

Jiang Gu looked at him indifferently. This guy had clearly not regained his senses and had become even more stupid in his manic state. He twitched the corner of his mouth and scoffed contemptuously.

"I'm not ugly!" Wei Feng was instantly enraged. He and countless ghost patterns rushed towards Jiang Gu, their killing intent fully revealed.

Jiang Gu abruptly tore off the ghostly patterns embedded in his arm, using his arm to block the fangs. Then, with his other hand, he swiftly formed a hand seal, placing his thumb against the center of Wei Feng's chest to release his spiritual power seal. Before the ghostly patterns could invade his Dao heart, Jiang Gu placed his palm directly in Wei Feng's dantian and found the Vermilion Bird Divine Mark he had placed on his primordial spirit.

The surroundings suddenly fell silent.

Wei Feng had already pulled his arm away, his fangs almost touching his lips. Dark green saliva came out of the fangs, down Jiang Gu's chin and down to his Adam's apple. With Jiang Gu's breath, it disappeared into the tight collar, burning the fabric to dust and revealing half of his smooth collarbone.

The filthy slime clung to the fair skin, a stark and jarring sight, almost like a desecration.

Wei Feng's eyes burned with desire, yet he remained rooted to the spot, unable to move. He could only furiously scan Jiang Gu's exposed skin with his gaze, breathing heavily with a mixture of ferocity and longing, "You are... mine..."

He then uttered a few more indistinct words, which Jiang Gu did not hear clearly. He was concentrating on expelling the disgusting and sticky ghost patterns from his body. Using Wei Feng's body again, he finally found the ghost patterns that had previously burrowed into his dantian. The originally bright golden dantian had been stained with several gray-black marks. It seemed that the pain in his dantian before was also due to Wei Feng's manipulation in the dark.

Jiang Gu frowned, crushed them completely, and then thoroughly cleansed his primordial spirit, dantian, and meridians with spiritual power several times before slowly raising his head.

He gave Wei Feng a very faint smile, "You do have some skill."

Wei Feng was unhappy that Jiang Gu had expelled his things from his body and wanted to regain control of the ghost pattern. The restriction was not difficult for him and he was about to break through it, but just before he broke through, Jiang Gu grabbed his neck and slammed him into the ice cave ceiling.

Before he could react, the Crimson Snow Sword followed closely, mercilessly severing the ram's horn on his forehead. Wei Feng howled in pain, broke through the restriction, and swung his claws at Jiang Gu like a madman.

The ram's horns that Jiang Gu had cut off grew back at an extremely fast speed.

He was incredibly fast. Even though Jiang Gu retreated swiftly, he still managed to leave three bloody scratches on his shoulder. Then, Wei Feng appeared behind him, and the ghostly patterns, along with the overwhelming fragrance, enveloped him. Jiang Gu was caught off guard and inhaled a mouthful, his expression changing slightly.

It smells like Huanmengxiang.

He held his breath and concentrated, trying to force out the incense poison, but Wei Feng's moves were deadly. He used the kite-winged shark tail and the ghost-patterned white eyes with consummate skill, almost constantly trying to break through his ruthless Dao heart.

Jiang Gu could only put the incense aside for the time being and focus on dealing with Wei Feng. He had personally taught Wei Feng the attack methods of the Divine Kite Shark, taught him the sword moves, and even demonstrated how to use the Ghost Face White Eyes. Apart from the increased speed and power, Jiang Gu knew everything else about Wei Feng.

He quickly found a solution.

He used the Crimson Snow Sword and the Hooked Hairpin to set up an array, trapping Wei Feng firmly within the formation. Then, he used the Fire Rope to tie it to the red rope around Wei Feng's neck, binding his primordial spirit tightly. Immediately afterward, Jiang Gu sealed off all his emotions, and those troublesome ghost patterns instantly lost their sense of smell, only able to lie dormant beside Jiang Gu, waiting blankly.

It took Jiang Gu quite some time to subdue him, and his robes were torn to shreds by his saliva and claws, but his expression remained cold and arrogant. He wrapped the red rope around his blood-soaked palm, stepped into the formation, and looked down at Wei Feng, whose body was firmly nailed to the ice.

This inhuman, ghostly creature was covered in wounds, almost as if its skin had been peeled off. Sensing his gaze, Wei Feng struggled to raise its head, its tail slamming heavily against the ice, baring its fangs and taunting Jiang Gu.

A three-foot-long ice spike pierced his tail fin without mercy, pinning the shark's tail to the ice.

Wei Feng let out a wail, and as he approached, he began to struggle desperately.

Jiang Gu knelt before him, one hand gripping the back of his neck, the other pressing two fingers together against his brow, and said coldly, "I respectfully report to Heaven and Earth, all gods and immortals, the three souls and seven spirits, the primordial spirit and the elixir of consciousness, that your disciple Wei Feng kneels to report: if you do not return now, when will you ever return!"

Wei Feng struggled more and more fiercely. In a short while, the ghostly markings almost took over his entire body, and his white eyes were about to burst open. After a while, he turned back into his original handsome young man appearance, switching back and forth between human and monster. Soon, the red rope around his neck showed signs of breaking, and the ice spikes embedded in his body exploded all at once, with such force that Jiang Gu almost dropped his hand.

Jiang Gu frowned and poured more spiritual power into the space between his brows. However, before he could react, a sudden storm struck and knocked him down, pouring the rich scent of Huanmeng Fragrance into Jiang Gu's mouth and nose.

Jiang Gu was choked by the aroma, but he didn't stop channeling spiritual energy into his hands. He had no choice but to summon a Heaven-Rank magic weapon to fuse with it, and shouted sternly, "Wei Feng! Return to your position!"

The boy lying on top of him froze instantly, the demon mask and white eyes on his face vanished, and the shark tail and kite wings disappeared completely. He gasped for breath and stared at him, still shaken.

Jiang Gu disregarded everything else and quickly formed hand seals on his body, sealing several major acupoints around him. He only stopped when the last ghost mark disappeared before his eyes.

He coldly lifted his eyelids and looked at the person lying on top of him, "Get off."

Wei Feng stood there, stunned.

Jiang Gu lay beneath him, his clothes tattered, his fair skin covered with glaring, ambiguous red marks and mottled wounds. Yet, he looked up at him with a cold and arrogant gaze, his fragrance so intense it seemed to kill. He was unattainable and aloof, making one almost want to... desecrate him.

Wei Feng's lips were dry, his mind went blank, and only a surge of agitation rose up instantly.

Jiang Gu was stunned for a moment before he realized what it was.

His face darkened, and even though he had exhausted his spiritual power, he kicked the person away.

Wei Feng crashed into the ice wall and fell down, coughing up a pool of blood. Just as he was about to straighten up, someone stepped on his shoulder and stomped down hard.

He braced himself against the ice with both hands and tried to move, but the force was like a towering mountain, unmoving and suppressing him so firmly that he could not move.

Jiang Gu flicked his ankle, flipping the man over and ruthlessly stepping on his neck, coldly asking, "Are you awake now?"

Wei Feng lay on his back on the cold, icy ground, coughing twice with difficulty: "Master...Master."

Jiang Gu, however, did not let him off the hook. "Where did you hide Lin Feibai?"

"I...don't remember." Wei Feng reached out and grabbed his ankle, then grabbed his sleeve, and said in a hoarse voice, "Master, I...really don't remember."

"You've gotten bolder just from going through a tribulation." Jiang Gu felt the hand on his ankle change from a grab to a caress, carrying a strange intimacy. He couldn't help but frown, release his foot, and pull the man up from the ground, staring at him with a cold gaze. "I can save you, and I can kill you. I don't mind making you completely lose consciousness and become a monster that only knows how to kill. I'll ask you one last time, where is Lin Feibai?"

Wei Feng grinned at him, "Master, don't you care about Chi Xue at all?"

“It’s already dead, insignificant.” Jiang Gu tightened his grip, and a cracking sound came from Wei Feng’s neck as bones broke. “Speak.”

This is quite similar to the 'Zhou Huaiming' that Wei Feng remembered.

He took a couple of difficult breaths, staring intently at Jiang Gu, "Is it... that you'll feel the same way when I die someday?"

Jiang Gu felt that he had become unusually talkative after his tribulation, and said impatiently, "You are my disciple, why are you comparing yourself to a mere spirit pet?"

Wei Feng's eyes lit up, and she hurriedly grabbed his arm, "Really?"

Jiang Gu narrowed his eyes. This bastard was indeed faking it. Now, even if he broke his neck, he probably wouldn't die.

Jiang Gu was too lazy to answer, but Wei Feng, disregarding the fact that his neck was about to break, suddenly pounced on him. Jiang Gu abruptly let go and dodged to the side, only to be caught off guard. Wei Feng's hands, which were behind his back, were filled with sharp ice spikes, ready to pierce his manhood at any moment.

"Master, Lin Feibai is here." He looked down and rummaged through the storage pouch at his waist, pulling out a spirit pet pouch and a few more storage pouches. He said somewhat guiltily, "And these too, they should all be yours, Master."

Jiang Gu took it and examined it. Lin Feibai was indeed still there. He looked at Wei Feng, whose body had been shattered but had now recovered, and asked, "What is your cultivation level now?"

According to his estimate, conservatively speaking, Wei Feng is at least at the Nascent Soul or Void Refinement stage, and may even be higher.

To everyone's surprise, Wei Feng's face suddenly went blank, and then he showed an expression that Jiang Gu was very familiar with—usually, he would only have this cowardly and guilty stupid look when he couldn't finish his homework.

As expected, Wei Feng lowered his head and whispered, "Master, I don't know why, but I... seem to have returned to the Qi Refining stage."

“Refining to the Void is also correct—” Jiang Gu was about to nod when his expression suddenly turned stern. “What did you say?”

Wei Feng flinched, the lingering heat in his lower abdomen seemingly subsided, but upon seeing Jiang Gu's tattered clothes and the mottled red marks on his body, the heat surged again. He was dressed so thinly that he was about to be exposed, so he decisively knelt down in front of Jiang Gu with a thud.

He pressed his hands to his knees, on the verge of tears, and said, "Back then, those lightning tribulations struck down with a clang and a crack. When I woke up, I found that my cultivation had returned to the Qi Refining stage. I... I was afraid you would scold me, so I secretly found a place full of resentment and ate some food, thinking that it would be good to nourish my ghost patterns. But I don't know what happened, I lost consciousness, and when I woke up, I was like this."

Jiang Gusheng was so angry she laughed. She couldn't stand the sight of this idiot no matter what, and said with a cold look, "What are you hiding?"

"Huh?" Wei Feng followed his gaze blankly and saw it fall on his lower body. His face flushed red instantly, and he stammered, "N-nothing."

Seeing his guilty conscience, Jiang Gu used the Crimson Snow Sword, imbued with spiritual power, to mercilessly pry open his wrist, forcing him to straighten up. His gaze was cold as he said, "If you dare to conceal any secrets—"

The entire desolate and empty ice cave suddenly fell silent, followed by a deathly stillness.

"Master, it's because of Jiang Lin's dream incense. I... I accidentally swallowed a lot of it and had it all inside me, and I just vomited it all up," Wei Feng said hastily, raising his hand as he saw Jiang Gu's murderous intent. "I swear to Heaven, I have absolutely no feelings for you—"

He accidentally caught a glimpse of the red mark on Jiang Gu's waist, and the image of himself licking it earlier flashed uncontrollably through his mind. Although he was very weak at the time, he still vividly remembered the feel and temperature of Jiang Gu's skin.

Jiang Gu's expression grew even colder. "Continue. Is there nothing at all?"

Wei Feng raised his hand, licked his dry lips, forced himself to look away, and said sincerely, "I have absolutely no improper feelings for my master—"

Boom!

Outside the ice cave, a thunderclap suddenly rang out, as if struck by lightning.

Wei Feng was on the verge of tears. "Master, it must be because the Huanmengxiang hasn't worn off yet."

Jiang Gu was so angry that he laughed instead.
