Chapter 050 Fan Meeting (Part 2)

Chapter 050 Fan Meeting (Part 2)

Jiang Hechu turned around and looked at the screen with an expression of understanding. This was a title related to the debut single.

"He Chu seems very confident." An Juesui reminded: "Now you can let Qi Feng turn around."

Jiang Hechu poked Ji Qifeng from behind, and after he turned around with his headphones on, he pointed at himself, indicating that he was about to start reading the questions.

“Escape—from—illusion—bubble—” Jiang Hechu recited each word carefully, rendering each syllable’s mouth shape in great detail.

Afraid that Ji Qifeng wouldn't be able to see it, he repeated it a few more times, thinking that this time there should be no problem.

Ji Qifeng seemed to understand, but felt that he roughly understood the meaning. He silently complained in his heart, "Isn't the question a bit strange..." and took off his headphones.

"Qifeng, have you guessed the question? Don't tell the answer yet." An Juesui said.

Ji Qifeng made an OK gesture: "No problem." Then, following An Juesui's instructions, he asked Jingxing to turn around and began to convey the information he had received.

"By the same token, you can get the result in a cycle." Ji Qifeng repeated the somewhat strange answer. There was laughter from the audience.

An Juesui also added a comment: "This answer is very science-oriented, it feels like solving a math problem."

Ji Qifeng was still trying hard to convey the message, but unfortunately Jingxing didn't understand what he said at all. Of course, it was normal that he couldn't understand it after so many deviations.

Jiang Hechu couldn't help laughing, the two of them were talking at cross purposes.

Jingxing kept making gestures to do it again, and finally at a certain moment, he suddenly realized, nodded to show his understanding, and took off his headphones.

"Jingxing, did you really see it?" An Juesui asked worriedly.

"This won't be a problem for me." Jing Xing felt so confident that he patted Chen Xun on the shoulder, ready to hand over the last baton.

"Okay, you can start then."

Jingxing was full of confidence and shouted: "There's a hot pot in the bucket!"

There was laughter from the audience. The answers were getting more and more outrageous.

An Juesui laughed out loud: "Jingxing really wants to eat hotpot, but I don't know if the captain wants to eat it."

Jiang Hechu couldn't bear to look at it, but his laughter didn't stop at all. It can't be said that it was different from the title, but it can only be said that it had nothing to do with it.

Shen Xun stared intently, following Jing Xing's lip movements and repeating them over and over again. There seemed to be a second of confusion on his face, which disappeared as the number of repetitions increased.

He calmly took off his headphones and said confidently: "I know the answer."

"Well... Captain, do you really not need to think about it again?" An Juesui joked.

Shen Xun shook his head: "The question is a bit difficult, but as long as you listen to part of it, you can still guess it."

"Oh...? Is that so?" An Juesui couldn't hold back his curiosity: "Then please tell me your answer, Captain!"

"The answer is..." Chen Xun kept it a secret: "Drinking wine in the east garden after dusk."

After a brief silence, laughter filled the venue.

Shen Xun was at a loss, wasn't this answer very reasonable, he looked at Jingxing blankly.

Jingxing was also confused and puzzled. How could the captain guess seven words out of six, and the meaning was completely off.

An Juesui tried hard to hold back his laughter and asked at the right time: "Jingxing, please repeat what you think the answer is."

Jingxing sighed. Even though it was such a down-to-earth answer, the captain still suffered from being too cultured: "There is a hot pot in the bucket. So where is the hot pot?"

The usually calm Shen Xun couldn't help but open his eyes wide: "No way..."

Ji Qifeng silently held his forehead with his hand, does this have anything to do with what he said...

"It seems that the captain doesn't really want to eat hotpot." An Juesui added.

The laughter in the meeting hall never stopped. An Juesui fanned the flames, no, he pushed the boat along: "Qifeng, what did you say to Jingxing?"

Ji Qifeng hesitated for a moment and said, "The same cycle will be used to obtain..."

Jing Xing looked at Ji Qifeng in disbelief, muttering: "What the hell is this..."

"It seems that Qifeng also knows that something is wrong with him." As the person who knows the real answer, An Juesui said with a smile: "Then, He Chu, you announce the correct answer."

Jiang Hechu smiled and said: "The answer is to escape from the illusory bubble." How to do it is more outrageous than the last.

After hearing the answer, Shen Xun looked at Jing Xing on the left and Ji Qifeng on the right, and seemed to begin to doubt his life.

The nonsensical lip-syncing made the members and the audience burst into laughter. The atmosphere was very relaxed, laughter continued to echo, and we smoothly entered the next game session.

"The next game is - Dangdang! Silent dance! Can you guess the rules of the game from the name?" An Juesui introduced: "We will dance without background music, and at the end, the difference in seconds between each person's end time and the normal dance end time will be calculated. The screen behind you will play the dance video synchronously, so don't peek while everyone is dancing!"

Jingxing raised his hand and asked, "Which song do you want to dance to?"

“It’s our debut song ‘Escape’ that everyone is familiar with. What would it be like to dance without music?” An Juesui looked at the screen behind him, which showed the practice room version of the debut song.

In order to prevent each other from affecting their progress, the five people were separated by a simple device, and with a "start" sound, they began dancing synchronously.

The debut song focuses more on music than dance. The choreography is more complicated in the interlude, while the part that requires singing lyrics is simpler. Without music, it is still a bit difficult to catch the rhythm.

The members performed a silent dance based on their feelings only, and when it ended, they heard exclamations from the audience.

An Juesui picked up the microphone and asked curiously, "What interesting thing happened just now?"

There was laughter from the audience.

A new prompt suddenly appeared on the prompter in front of the stage. An Juesui quickly looked at it and found that the preparations for the next performance segment had not been arranged yet, so this segment should be extended as much time as possible.

"How do you think you danced just now? Do you want to make a prediction?" An Juesui stalled for time and winked at the four people quietly.

This was slightly different from the script, and the members were a little surprised. At An Juesui's suggestion, they also noticed the prompts on the teleprompter and cooperated with him.

"I felt like I danced a little too slowly at the end, maybe 4 or 5 seconds off?" Jingxing recalled the rhythm of the dance just now.

Shen Xun also nodded: "It is still difficult without music. It requires precise control of the entry and exit before and after the interlude."

Jiang Hechu was full of confidence: "The game is fun and feels good. It shouldn't be too different." He has always been confident about dancing.

Ji Qifeng, who was the last to speak, was a little confused: "It seems that I finish at the same time as you." After Ji Qifeng finished dancing, he waited for several seconds before he saw Jingxing coming out.

The members chatted for a while, and the teleprompter finally gave the instruction to continue. On the big screen, the practice room version on one side and the version that several people had just performed on the other side began playing at the same time.

Not long after the music disappeared, Ji Qifeng's rhythm sped up slightly, and then the tiny error gradually became larger, eventually reaching six seconds faster than the standard time.

Ji Qifeng was helpless: "Sure enough, why is there such a big difference..."

As Jingxing approached the end, he suddenly slowed down, four seconds slower than the standard time.

"I don't know why, but I suddenly started thinking about the ending pose..." Jingxing touched his head.

Although An Juesui was a bit fast in the first half, he miraculously slowed down in the second half, finishing almost at the same time as Shen Xun, who had a steady pace throughout the whole process. However, both of them were slightly faster by two or three seconds.

"Although the captain and I were not in sync throughout the whole process, we ended up finishing perfectly together!" An Juesui said with some amusement.

Shen Xun also found it interesting that he miraculously pulled back the rhythm.

The most surprising one is Jiang Hechu, which is almost exactly the same as the practice room version, with the error within 1 second.

"Wow, no wonder the audience reacted like that just now, He Chu's rhythm is so accurate." An Juesui exclaimed.

Jiang Hechu smiled mysteriously: "I have a trick."

"What is it?" An Juesui wanted to know urgently.

"Yes..." Jiang Hechu stretched out his tone: "Jingxing."

"Ah?" Jingxing's name was suddenly called and he looked puzzled.

"Jingxing has been singing the whole song in a low voice." Jiang Hechu joked: "I can't block out his voice, so I just dance along."

"Uh..." An Juesui choked up for once and looked at Jiang Hechu with suspicion.

"Okay, I'm just kidding." Jiang Hechu spread his hands and said sincerely: "Actually, I am gifted."

The words, without any modesty but very true, made the whole audience laugh.

The first half of the game ended amid laughter and joy.

When they came on stage again, musical instruments and radio equipment were already set up on the stage. Under the surprised gaze of the audience, the members performed the B-side song "Daytime" in band mode.

An Juesui sat behind the drum set, his fingers twirling the drumsticks nimbly, exuding a sense of high spirits as he beat out a fast and steady rhythm. From time to time he looked up and smiled at Jiang Hechu, who was carrying a bass not far away. They cooperated in perfect harmony and controlled the entire rhythm.

Ji Qifeng carried the familiar azure electric guitar on his back, with a focused expression, enjoying every minute with the stage and the music. The sound of the strings stirred up the restlessness in the hearts of the audience.

Jingxing pressed the piano keys with his powerful fingers, and the melody slipped out from his fingertips. He leaned close to the microphone in front of him and sang the lyrics alternately with Shen Xun, feeling the dense gazes and the enthusiasm that could not be ignored from the audience.

Warm emotions filled people's chests. The dual enjoyment of vision and hearing almost washed away their rationality. The gorgeous lights shone on the piano paint, dazzling people's eyes. They almost forgot that this was just a fan meeting, not Wax&Wane's exclusive concert.

As the melody reached its final chapter, the members put down their instruments and came to the front of the stage. "Swing" then sounded, and with their powerful dance moves and the sound of heels hitting the stage, the audience was pulled into the unique world of Wax&Wane and couldn't help but indulge in it.

When I came to my senses, it was already the interactive session of the second half. My eyes followed the five active figures and I wished time would stop at this moment forever.
