Xu Tianze followed Dai Nian in a swaying carriage and arrived at the gate of the Duke of Zhenguo's Mansion. After getting off the carriage, Xu Tianze looked up at the plaque of the Duke of Zhenguo's Mansion and for a moment wanted to turn around and leave.
Saying that he doesn't love her anymore and that nothing is possible are just lies to himself. He just has accumulated enough disappointment so he chooses to give up.

Xu Tianze looked at the strange-looking pastries on the table and silently shifted his gaze away. Even though he loved sweets, he really couldn't eat them.
"Is what the Duke said true?" Xu Tianze silently changed the subject, opened the tea that was served and took a look. It turned out to be tea made from lotus leaves.
He just took a sip and put it aside calmly, along with the plate of strange-looking pastries.
"Of course it's true. Here you go." When the Duke of Zhenguo saw Xu Tianze's little action, his face was a little embarrassed, but he still took out the letter and handed it to Xu Tianze.
"Your father and brother actually left you letters, but they were divided among different people for safekeeping. I happen to have one here." After the Duke of Zhenguo finished speaking, he picked up the teacup and took a sip of tea.
After drinking this, his face changed color. He had always thought that Old Man Xu was sick for liking to drink this bitter tea, and he felt a little strange when he saw Xu Tianze drinking a sip.

"Give me the letter. Your Majesty, you are stealing someone's father's belongings, and you are not afraid of being laughed at if it gets out." Xu Tianze didn't care about the Duke's abnormality, but just stared at the letter in the Duke's hand.
