Liang Shang's mood immediately soured.
He had a crush on Tang Xin since college and even wanted to find an opportunity to confess his feelings.
Unfortunately, Zhuang Wen beat him to it.
Seeing Tang Xin's happy and joyful expression under Zhuang Wen's doting care.
He felt a mixture of envy, jealousy, and resentment.
I envy Zhuang Wen for making Tang Xin happy.
She was also jealous of Tang Xin's love for Zhuang Wen.
She resented Zhuang Wen even more for taking Tang Xin away from her.
He not only wanted to win back Tang Xin, but also wanted to take the opportunity to get revenge on Zhuang Wen.
Therefore, he became Tang Xin's "male best friend," gaining Tang Xin's care while making Zhuang Wen angry but helpless, thus achieving his goal of revenge.
Unfortunately, all these years have passed, and he has never had the chance to separate the two.
Instead, they constantly witnessed their couple's public displays of affection.
In the end, he was about to give up.
But tonight's events gave him hope.
But harsh reality poured cold water on him.
Soon, the car arrived at Tang Xin's building.
Tang Xin remained silent the entire way, then opened the car door and stepped out, looking utterly dejected.
Only Liang Shang remained in the car.
He opened his mouth, wanting to call out to Tang Xin, but seeing her expression, he knew she was in a bad mood and had been completely heartbroken by Zhuang Wen.
Watching Tang Xin's lonely figure disappear into the distance, Liang Shang encouraged himself: "Don't be afraid, they've already broken up, your chance has come!"
Tang Xin didn't care about Liang Shang.
She was like a walking corpse, her mind filled with Zhuang Wen. Dragging her heavy steps, she returned home unconsciously.
"Xin Xin, what's wrong? Don't scare Mommy."
Fang Xiu'e looked up immediately and saw that Tang Xin's face was pale and her eyes were lifeless. She was so frightened that she stood up and ran towards Tang Xin.
Finally, as Tang Xin swayed, she managed to hug her daughter.
Tang Jiashan also came to Tang Xin's side and asked with concern, "Xin Xin, how are you feeling?"
Tang Xin remained silent, her expression blank, as her parents helped her to sit down on the sofa like a puppet.
"Have some water."
Fang Xiue was so anxious she was almost in tears. She picked up a water glass and held it to Tang Xin's lips.
Tang Xin remained motionless, neither drinking water nor speaking.
This terrified the two of them.
"Xinxin, say something, don't scare me and your dad..."
Fang Xiu'e's eyes were red, and she kept speaking into Tang Xin's ear, trying to wake her up.
Tang Jiashan gently patted Tang Xin's back without saying a word, conveying his power to her in this silent yet effective way.
A few minutes later.
Tang Xin's eyes moved slightly.
"Xin Xin!"
Fang Xiu'e exclaimed in surprise.
Tang Xin's neck stiffened as she slowly turned her head to look at her parents.
The pain comes from the heart.
A layer of tears instantly welled up in her reddened eyes.
"Dad, Mom, Zhuang Wen doesn't want me anymore!"
She hugged Fang Xiu'e tightly and burst into tears, her voice hoarse and her tears streaming down her face.
It's heartbreaking.
...
the next day.
The morning was slightly chilly, but the sun was shining brightly.
On the sofa, Zhuang Wen felt a little cold and hugged the soft, warm, and delicate girl in his arms tightly.
The girl didn't feel rushed at all; instead, she squeezed herself into Zhuang Wen's arms as if she wanted to get into his embrace.
The air was thick with the smell of alcohol, and bottles were scattered all over the place, some lying horizontally and some vertically.
Ring ring!
Zhuang Wen's phone rang.
This is the alarm clock he set for work.
"Hmm."
Zhuang Wen closed his eyes tightly, followed the sound to his phone, and instinctively turned off the alarm.
But the girl wasn't used to it.
"Stop making noise, let me sleep a little longer..."
Her pink lips moved, uttering indistinct murmurs.
"I've turned it off."
Zhuang Wen answered casually, and put his arms around the girl's slender waist.
He wanted to stay in bed a little longer.
But the next moment, he was wide awake.
Whoosh!
He suddenly opened his eyes, and they were wide open.
He slowly lowered his head, his expression freezing.
His long, black hair was loosely draped over his chest, and half of his fair, delicate face exuded a quiet and peaceful aura.
"Yan...Yan?!"
He murmured to himself.
Suddenly, he covered his head, which was still groggy from the alcohol, and began to think carefully and recall.
Then, the events of last night flooded my hazy mind.
He was in a bad mood, so he bought alcohol from the supermarket and drank it all when he got home.
He remembered these things very clearly because he wasn't drunk at the time.
But how did Yan Yan end up in my arms?
"Could it be that I took advantage of the alcohol..."
His expression changed, and then he looked down and found that although the two people's clothes were messy and wrinkled, it was not to the point that something he didn't want to see happened.
He breathed a heavy sigh of relief.
I almost made the same mistake again.
At this moment, Yan Yan's long eyelashes trembled slightly, and her pair of clear and beautiful eyes opened. Because she was still asleep, her gaze appeared empty and confused.
"Where am I...?"
She muttered to herself, her mind still not clear.
"Cough cough."
Zhuang Wen deliberately coughed lightly twice.
She pouted, slowly raised her head, and looked innocently into Zhuang Wen's dark eyes.
"You...ah!"
She didn't react at first, but the next moment, she suddenly woke up, followed by a piercing scream that made Zhuang Wen's head buzz and stars appear before his eyes.
"Stop yelling."
Zhuang Wen felt a little dizzy, but he still forced himself to remain calm and spoke.
"Who are you, and what are you doing in my house...?"
Yan Yan turned pale with fright, and the memory of last night was instantly wiped from her mind.
