On the street.
Like a cat whose tail has been stepped on, Tang Xin's best friend, Jiang Yuanxin, with a contorted face and venomous eyes, charged at Zhuang Wen with bared teeth and claws.
But Zhuang Wen simply slapped her hand away with a crisp sound, and Jiang Yuanxin's hand was knocked aside.
"Neuropathy!"
Zhuang Wen didn't want to say anything more to her and turned to leave.
But Jiang Yuanxin was blinded by rage and immediately charged at Zhuang Wen again, baring her teeth.
Zhuang Wen turned around abruptly, his eyes icy cold and filled with a chilling murderous intent.
"you……"
Jiang Yuanxin stopped abruptly, staring at Zhuang Wen with a look of terror, as if he were a demon, and dared not take another step forward.
"hehe."
Zhuang Wen let out a contemptuous sneer.
"Never mind, Yuanxin."
At this moment, Tang Xin walked over and pulled her best friend aside.
Then, she turned to look at Zhuang Wen, her eyes brimming with tears, and said in an almost pleading tone, "Zhuang Wen, can we still..."
Before she could finish speaking, Zhuang Wen turned and left without listening to her say a word.
"Can't you even spare me a moment to say a word?"
Tears streamed down Tang Xin's face in the blink of an eye. She watched Zhuang Wen's tall, departing figure and murmured to herself, a heartbreaking sight.
“Zhuang…Wen…”
Upon hearing this, Liang Shang's brows furrowed instantly, and he glared angrily at Zhuang Wen, clenching his fists.
Tang Xin was his white moonlight, whom he tried his best to please, and whom he secretly loved, wanting to satisfy her in every way and not wanting her to suffer the slightest grievance.
Now, however, he was deeply hurt by Zhuang Wen's words and had bowed his head in pleading, but to no avail.
"Zhuang Wen, I'm fucking done..."
He yelled and angrily charged at Zhuang Wen, wanting to knock him down with one punch and give Tang Xin a good venting.
But before Zhuang Zhenghong could leave, he saw Liang Shang angrily rushing towards his precious son. He immediately raised his foot and kicked out, hitting Liang Shang right in the buttocks as he passed in front of him.
Bang!
Liang Shang let out a scream and was kicked away.
"Ahhh..."
He rolled on the ground a few times, then grimaced, groaned in pain, and looked up at Zhuang Zhenghong.
At this moment, Zhuang Zhenghong resembled an angry Buddha, expressionless and with cold eyes.
What's most frightening is that his massive, tall body exudes a terrifying aura.
Immediately, Liang Shang gasped and dared not utter a sound. Even the pain on his face vanished instantly, as if everything just now was an act, which was incredibly ridiculous.
Zhuang Zhenghong withdrew his gaze expressionlessly, then turned to Tang Xin, a faint smile playing on his lips—it was hard to tell whether it was sarcasm or composure.
“You’ve already broken up with my son, so don’t bother him anymore, and don’t spread rumors, especially those things you’ve said that distort the truth. Otherwise, if the truth is really revealed, you won’t get away with it.”
"My son has a bright future ahead of him, and you have your own future ahead of you. The best outcome for us to break up is to leave each other alone."
With each sentence Zhuang Zhenghong spoke, Tang Xin's expression became more pained, her face paler, and her despair deepened.
In the end, she was completely heartbroken and fell into an endless abyss of darkness.
Zhuang Zhenghong had finished speaking when he gave a cold look at his ex-daughter-in-law, who had broken his son's heart.
As an elder, he naturally wouldn't say anything too outrageous; that was enough, and the warning had been delivered. He turned to leave.
But he put his foot down as soon as he lifted it.
He didn't turn his head, but merely glanced sideways at Liang Shang on the ground, a mocking smile playing on his lips:
"From now on, don't speak carelessly, especially don't lie, particularly about relationships between men and women. Speak as little as possible, because if you get caught, well..."
He left before he finished speaking, but he knew that Tang Xin already understood the meaning behind his words.
Sure enough, Tang Xin knew perfectly well what was going on.
She knew that some of the things she said this afternoon would be seen as lies by the other person.
Since she was caught in the act, any explanation she offered would only be a pretext.
Moreover, it's a very weak excuse.
However, she really didn't lie to Zhuang Zhenghong this afternoon.
She had indeed made things clear with Liang Shang, and they hadn't seen each other for a long time. Even though he had asked her out many times, she had refused with various excuses.
Of course, she now belatedly realizes that although she and Liang Shang are "best friends" and she has no other thoughts about Liang Shang, this relationship is clearly abnormal.
Anyone who sees this would think it's abnormal!
Especially during the time she was dating Zhuang Wen.
She shouldn't have gotten so close to Liang Shang.
She regretted it!
Unfortunately, there's no going back.
She could only swallow this bitter pill with tears in her eyes.
She was with Liang Shang tonight because her best friend invited her out for dinner and fun, but she didn't expect her best friend to invite Liang Shang as well.
The three of them then walked together, and were seen by Zhuang Zhenghong and Zhuang Wen.
In fact, she had no idea that Liang Shang would be coming before she came here, otherwise she would never have agreed to her best friend's request.
"I……"
She opened her mouth, wanting to speak, but didn't know how to express what was in her mouth.
Or rather, she felt that it didn't matter whether she spoke or not.
Even when I spoke up, they wouldn't listen, since I really had nothing to do with them anymore.
