Chapter 28 Nightmare Dungeon

Nightmare difficulty dungeons correspond to Mythic equipment.

For Warrior level and above, selecting the no-experience mode will increase the drop rate of equipment of the corresponding level by 20%.

In other words, there is a 20% chance of obtaining Mythic-level equipment when running a Nightmare-level dungeon.

"Mythology, oh, that's a pink and tender mythology..."

Amidst sighs of emotion, Ye Gubai fell into a deep sleep.

When he woke up, he found that it was 8 p.m.

I feel refreshed and full of energy after waking up naturally.

I can't fall asleep even if I want to continue resting.

But if I don't sleep, lying in bed feels like a waste of time.

After thinking it over, he decided to explore the dungeon.

After washing up, Ye Gubai walked towards the teleportation array.

The number of people at night is nearly 30% higher than during the day.

It seems most people are night owls, sleeping during the day and scrolling through their phones all night.

Upon entering the teleportation array, Ye Gubai selected Nightmare difficulty.

The difficulty level became apparent after completing the King-level challenge.

Dark Sin Ruins - Nightmare Level

Tip: If you can clear the King level, you are already the king among those of the same level. If you can also clear the Nightmare level, then you are the king of kings!

"That's a pretty interesting hint."

Ye Gubai smiled knowingly and entered the instance.

When the light faded, all that remained were ruins.

It seems that only low-level dungeons truly capture the essence of the forest.

The higher the level, the deeper one goes into the heart of the Grass Forest, which is the area around Pear Blossom Town.

"What are monsters? Does it mean we have to fight a boss directly again?"

Ye Gubai looked around curiously but didn't see any monsters.

But after taking only a few steps, he saw an astonishing sight.

The ruins on the ground broke open, and rows of decaying bones crawled out from them.

The dark bones paired with a few tattered clothes gave these remains a sense of decay.

Looking around, they are everywhere.

Monster - Ruined Skeleton

Level: 20

Basic Panel —

Strength: 289

Magic: 0

Endurance: 50

Physical condition: 50

Agility: 10

Equipment slots - None

Skill bar —

Bind (Passive): Tightly hold the target it touches, making it unable to move.

Dead Body (Passive): Skeletons have no blood, and any effects that affect blood cannot damage them.

Aside from attack, skeleton monsters aren't particularly strong in other attributes.

As long as you're careful not to get hit, it's not a big problem.

The only problem right now is that there are too many monsters!

Ye Gubai was utterly shocked: "One hundred? Two hundred? Three hundred!"

Within sight, there are over three hundred monsters.

Moreover, new skeletons are still pouring out of the ground in the distance.

Did he intrude upon the demon's lair?

No wonder no one can get past Nightmare difficulty; how can they possibly defeat so many monsters?

You'll be exhausted!

When you are exhausted, you will be devoured by the skeletons.

"Hey? This might be a good idea!"

Ye Gubai discovered a problem: these skeletons were in groups.

The monsters were standing densely packed together, which might be a nuisance for others, but not for him!

Ye Gubai's skills have a fast cooldown, unlike mages.

Mages' wide-area skills generally have long cooldowns, making them vulnerable to the onslaught of skeleton hordes and thus prone to death.

However, Ye Gubai's Heaven-Slaying Sword Technique only has a 7-second cooldown, which is amplified by Bing Meimei's jewelry.

The cooldown time has been reduced by another 20%, bringing it down to just over 5 seconds.

He could unleash an area-of-effect attack every five seconds; he refused to believe he couldn't kill all the skeletons.

He acted on his impulse, and just then, the monster appeared right in front of him.

With a flash of sword light, the Heaven-Slaying Sword Drawing Technique was unleashed.

Without needing to charge up, the skeleton's physical defense stat isn't high enough to withstand his skill damage.

With a single strike of the Heaven-Slaying Sword Technique, all the skeletons vanished wherever the sword light passed.

13 skeletons killed!

"It's not over yet!"

Ye Gubai leaped into the air and landed in the pile of skeletons with a double jump.

Immediately afterwards, he unleashed the Magic Starfall in mid-air!

It transformed into a streak of black light and crashed to the ground, releasing a shockwave with a radius of five meters.

The shockwave rippled outwards, shattering all the skeletons.

19 skeletons killed!

At first glance, the number of kills by the Demon Starfall is greater than that by the Sword Draw.

That makes sense, as the range of the sword draw only affects a fan-shaped area directly in front of you.

The Magic Starfall, on the other hand, is the entire radius area centered on itself.

Two skills were used in quick succession, and the cooldown time was not yet over.

However, it was no big deal. Ye Gubai continued to use the Cross Crescent Slash to kill the approaching skeletons.

Then he used the Bloodthirsty Soul-Devouring Hand to grab the skeleton and explode it.

Although skeletons have the passive ability of Death Body, they cannot have their health drained by them.

However, this did not prevent him from injecting sword energy into the skeleton, which could still tear it apart and explode.

After Moonlight Slash and Grab skills were used up, the cooldown of Heaven-Slaying Sword Technique was also ready.

The next second, a sword light shot out, taking the lives of a large number of skeletons.

These demons, born from death, have once again departed this world.

The battle continued, with Ye Gubai releasing his skills in a rhythmic manner.

No matter how many skeletons there were, they posed no threat to him.

If other professions came here, even if they had wide-range attack moves...

Even someone who can crush skeletons like Ye Gubai will eventually die from running out of mana.

Because there were simply too many skeletons, even with Ye Gubai's efficiency in killing monsters with a single move, the battle lasted a full hour.

"wipe!"
