Pu Weichao looked at me in surprise: "How did you know about me and Ke Jiamin?"
I rolled my eyes and said, "I didn't know before, but Fei Lichao mentioned it to me when I was running this morning, and that's when I found out. Besides, anyone could see how fawning you were."
Pu Weichao looked slightly embarrassed. "Really?"
I raised an eyebrow and said, "What do you think?"
Pu Weichao shrugged. "Okay, it doesn't really matter. So what if they can tell? It's not like they can do anything about it."
I continued, "Then answer my question: how far have things progressed between you and Ke Jiamin?"
Pu Weichao looked at me and said, "It's still early, so stop gossiping."

The following days went much more smoothly than I had imagined.
The matter between Yan Zhengfeng and Zhang Zhihao has come to a temporary end. The two tacitly agreed not to meet again, and even when they ate, they ate separately and did not speak to each other. These past few days, Lu Jing has been chatting with me almost every day. It's mostly casual conversation, talking about all sorts of things. She laughs when we talk about something fun or interesting, and sighs when we talk about something sad or helpless. This has brought us much closer.
As for the others, Li Jiaming came to see me once. He asked me a lot of questions, mostly about how to muster the courage to face the monster.
I know his abilities. He said he doesn't have the ability to kill monsters, but he can't accept the idea of killing. In other words, he's always been afraid inside.
But logically speaking, aren't these celebrities supposed to be quite daring? How come they can't even adapt to these kinds of things?
I don't really understand this, after all, I'm not a real psychologist.
After asking me without success, Li Jiaming left and never came back to look for me.
Time flies, and five days have passed in the blink of an eye.
Fei Lichao pulled me, Pu Weichao, Yan Zhengfeng, and Chen Shen into his room for a meeting.
The meeting was about firearms and ammunition.
This matter should have been discussed nine days ago, but it has been delayed until now due to the issues involving Yan Zhengfeng and Zhang Zhihao. Fei Lichao feels it is time to discuss this matter now.
We went into his house.
Fei Lichao cut to the chase, saying, "We're basically out of ammunition now. The military region has so many guns and ammunition lying around; we have no reason not to go and get them."
Everyone understood what he meant, but no one knew what the situation was like inside the military region. Going in rashly would be suicide.

Fei Lichao did mention things about the military region last time.

“But I’m not willing to give up,” Chen suddenly said.

After discussing it, everyone agreed that what he said made sense.
Fei Lichao immediately agreed, "Okay, I'll go now."
As soon as we finished speaking, we packed up and set off. After discussing the situation with everyone, the five of us drove away in our pickup truck.
The military region is actually not far from us, only about ten kilometers away.
