So, following my directions, the car arrived at the entrance of the vocational high school in less than twenty minutes.
Looking out the car window at the school, Li Ming asked me, "Is this the high school you were talking about?"
I nodded and said, "Yes, yes, this is the high school I was talking about. Look, there aren't any zombies inside. It's very safe, right?"
Li Ming remained silent, opened the car door and got in. He pulled me out as well, and we stood at the school gate.
Li Ming frowned and said, "It does look quite safe, but I don't know what's going on inside. Let's go in."
He pushed me into the school, and everything inside was familiar to me.
Li Ming and Gao Tian were behind me, pushing me forward. They were very alert and kept observing their surroundings.
Before we knew it, we had arrived at the teaching building area. Li Ming looked at the empty school and nodded slowly.
Afterwards, we went to the dormitory. They found two bodies in the dormitory's meeting room, but they didn't think much of it. Then the two of them walked around most of the school. Li Ming laughed.
“Great place! No zombies, and it’s surrounded by walls, so it’s very safe!” Li Ming said, patting my shoulder.
Takada, being cautious, said, "But it's strange, why aren't there any zombies here?"
Li Ming looked at me and asked, "Do you know why?"
I shook my head and said, "I don't know. I only found out there were no zombies here when I passed by before."
Li Ming nodded: "Alright, since we couldn't resist here, let's stay! The boss shouldn't object to this place, right? Kid, if the boss really agrees, I'll make sure you have your fill!"
I smiled obsequiously and said, "Thank you, thank you, brother."
Li Ming smiled happily.
