I frowned, wondering what Li Ming meant by doing this.
Why are we being sent to catch zombies? These zombies aren't human; they're man-eating monsters! If we, a few defenseless people, go there, we'll probably get bitten if we're not careful!
Nobody wants to die.
So none of the seven of us went there.
Seeing that none of the seven of us had moved, Li Ming kicked the guy next to me in the butt.
The man staggered forward, took a few big steps, and fell to the ground. The zombies at the supermarket entrance saw him and roared as they walked over.
"Ah—" The man screamed in fright, turned around, crawled back on the ground, and hid beside me, not daring to go over at all.
"None of you are going over there, huh? Fine, whoever doesn't go over there dies." Li Ming said, pulling a gun directly from his waistband and pointing it at us.
I panicked and looked at the others in bewilderment.
I quickly said, "I'll go, I'll go."
With that, I dragged my weary body and turned to walk towards the zombies.
To be honest, I've never caught a zombie before. I don't understand what's gotten into Li Ming that made us go catch zombies; it's practically sending us to our deaths!
I swallowed hard, feeling very nervous.
Li Ming's voice came from behind, "You lot, do you want to die?"
I looked back and saw that the others hadn't moved, only Hu Fei had followed me up.
Then I heard gunshots.
Bang!
The gunshots were loud, attracting all the zombies in the vicinity.
As for the person who was shot, it was the guy who had been kicked forward by Li Ming and then ran back. He was shot in the thigh and was screaming in pain.
I don't have the ability to manage them; I can only manage myself.
I walked in front, and Hu Fei followed behind me.
To be honest, I'm exhausted. I have absolutely no strength to fight back against these zombies. If they catch me, I'll definitely die.
So, we can't let them catch us!
A zombie roared and lunged at me. I quickly dodged and let it pass by. Then I pounced on its back and wrapped my arms around its entire body.
But the zombie was very strong. With a burst of strength, it broke free from me, turned around, and pounced on me again.
At that moment, Hu Fei, who was next to me, pounced on the zombie and knocked it to the ground.
I was stunned when I saw this. This guy is amazing, so fierce. This is the first time I've ever seen a human attack a zombie!
"Help me!" he shouted at me.
Without hesitation, I went up and grabbed the zombie's arm. We each grabbed one arm and stood up from the ground, dragging the zombie up with us. Then we pushed the overturned zombie to Li Ming.
Li Ming sneered and gestured to the two people behind him.
The two men behind him took out iron chains and tied them to the zombie's body. Although the two men pulled the zombie to the back of the pickup truck and tied it up.
"Keep going, what are you standing there for?" Li Ming glared at us.
Hu Fei and I turned around again to face the zombies at the supermarket entrance.
"ah!"
Just then, a scream came from not far away.
Hu Fei and I turned our heads and saw that the guy who had been shot in the thigh was being entangled by two zombies. One of the zombies bit his shoulder, and he screamed. Then, the other monster pounced on him, opened its mouth, and bit his face. His face was torn apart by the zombie like paper.
Screams echoed throughout the room.
There were casualties, but also gains.
After seeing Hu Fei and I work together, the other four people started to imitate us and the four of us caught a zombie together.
Hu Fei and I teamed up again and captured three more zombies, while the other four only managed to capture three.
Overall, the casualties were better than I had expected.
I thought a lot of people would die, but only one person died.
After capturing the seven zombies, Li Ming coldly shouted to us, "Get in the car!"
The remaining six of us dragged our tired bodies into the car. Li Ming sat in the passenger seat, took seven small plastic bags out of his pocket and threw them in front of us, saying, "Take six of these, and you can keep the last one as you like."
Before long, they started scrambling for the bags. To avoid arousing Li Ming's suspicion, I joined in the scrambling and grabbed two bags, tossing one of them to Hu Fei.
He looked at me with a puzzled expression.
"You'll need it, trust me."
He put it away, not in a hurry to eat it.
As for the others, they had already started impatiently.
I stared out the window, and soon we were back at school.
I wasn't on drugs, so I got out of the car right away. As soon as I got out, I saw Huo Cheng walk out of the dormitory building and look at us.
Hu Fei followed me out of the car, and I quickly pulled him away.
At that moment, I overheard Huo Cheng and Li Ming's conversation.
Li Ming said, "Boss, we've caught all the zombies, when are we going to use them?"
Huo Cheng was surprised. "Oh, so soon? Then let's do it tonight. It's been a long time since we've had any fun. Tonight, find a place to arrange things. Anyway, these people have been here long enough; it's time for a change."
"Alright." Li Ming smiled obsequiously.
I pulled Hu Fei back to the dormitory, and we collapsed onto the bed as soon as we entered.
I was basically exhausted.
After more than half a month, my health has deteriorated significantly, and coupled with the consequences of addiction, I am practically ruined.
"Ah!" At this moment, Hu Fei began to feel unwell; clearly, his attack had begun.
I swallowed hard, got out of bed, took out my *** from my pocket, opened it, and said, "Eat this, it'll make you feel better!"
"Get out of my way!" Hu Fei shoved me.
I stepped forward, placed the **** on the ground, and said, "Hey Hu, let me tell you, you can't survive like this on your own. If you want to live, you have to eat this. If you don't, you'll suffer terribly! Besides, we can't leave now. We can only take it slowly, understand?"
"If you don't eat it, and they find out, they'll kill you! Do you understand?"
Hu Fei opened his bloodshot eyes and glared at me, angrily saying, "I'd rather die than eat this!"
"Whatever, die if you want," I said, too lazy to care about him anymore.
I lay in bed, and then my symptoms started to flare up. Without hesitation, I ate half a packet and then put the other half under the bed.
The half-bandage lasted only a short time, but it provided some relief from my pain.
Then, I began to think about the conversation between Huo Cheng and Li Ming.
There's always a sense of foreboding.
Huo Cheng said these people have been here long enough and it's time for a change. Are they talking about us?
If it were us, what would he want to do? Switch? What does that mean, kill us?
I thought of the zombies we had captured, and suddenly a possibility occurred to me, and my expression changed drastically.
