"Get in there!" Li Ming kicked me in the thigh, and I fell back into the command platform.
I stood up and faced Hu Fei, giving him a wink. Hu Fei nodded to me secretly.
Although we didn't exchange many words, we had reached an understanding that if we wanted to escape from here, we had to cooperate.
Now that Huo Cheng's team is all here, it's both easy and difficult for us to escape.
Once we escape from the command post, we can leave without a trace. As for their pursuit, we'll have to rely on ourselves. Whether we survive or not is up to fate!
"Put all the remaining zombies in," Li Ming shouted.
Before long, they let the remaining five zombies in. As for the three zombies that Hu Fei had thrown off the command platform earlier, they were probably already taken care of.
As soon as the five zombies entered, their roars echoed across the command platform.
I moved closer to Hu Fei and whispered, "What are your thoughts?"
Hu Fei said, "Jump down, do you dare!"
I glanced at the pitch blackness below the command platform, thought for a moment, and realized that this seemed to be the only way, so I nodded silently.
Hu Fei whispered, "You listen to me here, but I'll listen to you down here."
"good."
After a few words of discussion, we got to work. He held the knife in his hand, and I held the small knife I had hidden in mine. No matter what, we had to get out of here alive.
Five zombies attacked, and the two corpses on the ground also awoke at that moment.
A chilling roar erupted, truly driving one mad.
Hu Fei, standing beside me, acted decisively. Facing the zombie in front of him, he plunged his knife into the zombie's eye socket, killing it instantly.
I was no exception. The moment the zombie pounced on me, I reached around to the back of its head and stabbed it with a knife. The zombie instantly went still on me.
Hu Fei, holding the zombie, whispered, "Jump!"
Before I could react, I saw him grab the zombie, climb over the railing, use the zombie as a cushion, and fall directly off the command platform.
Those around him clearly didn't understand Hu Fei's intentions, so when Hu Fei landed with a thud, no one around him reacted.
The zombies in front of me all rushed towards me. I dared not hesitate any longer, or I would be eaten by these zombies!
Holding the zombie I had just killed, I decisively flipped over the railing and plummeted downwards.
I pushed the zombie in front of me, and while I was still preparing, thud!
I had already landed on the ground, and the zombie landed on my lower body, which cushioned my fall. After looking at myself, I was unharmed.
The people in the surrounding stands cheered, thinking that two zombies had fallen down.
Because of the darkness, the guards below didn't notice that we had fallen; they simply assumed that a zombie had fallen from the command platform.
So, Hu Fei and I stood up decisively. Hu Fei looked at me, clearly waiting for my opinion.
"Follow me!" I whispered, and before the guards on either side could react, I led Hu Fei into the passageway beneath the command platform! Below the command platform was the equipment room, and there was a passageway leading towards the dormitory building.
Only after we had run out of the command platform's area did we hear Huo Cheng's angry voice behind us.
"They ran away, what the hell are you standing there for? Chase them!" Huo Cheng was furious.
By this time, Hu Fei and I had already run to the edge of the main building.
We didn't stop.
Everyone in Huocheng is currently at the command platform, so the entire school is completely unguarded. Even if they catch up, it will be too late.
However, at that moment, I suddenly felt uncomfortable inside my body, and I knew that my addiction was kicking in.
But I can't take drugs now, because if I do, I won't be able to run.
I could only grit my teeth and keep running forward, and as I ran, I was covered in cold sweat.
My heart was pounding so hard, a loud thumping sound coming from my chest that I could hear clearly. I was terrified that my heart would stop!
When Hu Fei noticed that I was slowing down, he sensed something was wrong, grabbed me, and pulled me along as we ran.
"Thanks," I said.
"Let's talk about survival first!" Hu Fei said. "Where do we go now?"
"Go to the west side of the dormitory building. There's another emergency exit there. Go open the door, and then we'll hide."
"Why hide instead of just running away?" Hu Fei wondered.
I smiled bitterly. If my body hadn't acted up just now, I might have been able to escape directly, but now I have no way to escape and can only hide. "Given my condition, there's no way to escape. Even if I did escape, they would catch up with me very quickly."
We've arrived near the dormitory building, and there are a lot of cars parked here.
“Then let’s drive!” Hu Fei said.
"Drive? I don't have the keys!"
Hu Fei smiled in the darkness, walked to the side of the SUV. The SUV window was not closed, he reached in and opened the door, then climbed into the car. I supported myself and got into the passenger seat.
"They're over at the dorm, hurry up!" A voice came from the direction of the playground shortly afterward.
Hu Fei got into the car, didn't look for the keys, and directly pulled out a few wires from under the car's lower panel. Without even looking at them, he wiped them a couple of times, and with a few loud bangs, the SUV started!
I looked at him in surprise, and Hu Fei laughed, "I'm awesome, aren't I?"
