It's inflamed!
However, it doesn't look serious.
"So, is it a big problem?" Hu Fei asked.
"It's not a big problem. Just drain the pus, and then give him some anti-inflammatory medicine. There shouldn't be any issues," I said, then called to Hu Fei, "Help me turn him over so I can check on him from behind."
Fei Lichao's shoulder wound is penetrating, so it needs to be examined from both the front and back.
I'm not worried about the inside; it was just a muscle injury, and the muscles are recovering quite quickly.
With Hu Fei's help, I lifted up the back of his wound to take a look, and there was nothing wrong with it.
I straightened him up, took out a scalpel from my backpack, burned it with fire for a while to disinfect it, and then cut open his wound to drain the pus before reapplying gauze.
I said, "It's nothing, you don't need to worry too much. Just give him some anti-inflammatory medicine when he wakes up."
Sister Jing breathed a sigh of relief when she heard what I said.
Fei Lichao woke up at nine o'clock in the morning. Apart from being tired, he had no other problems.
Around 10 o'clock, Hu Fei and I discussed it and decided to go out and find something to eat. We didn't bring much food with us when we went out last night, so we planned to find some.
After telling Jing-jie, the two of us officially set off.
We didn't drive or ride a Harley; we walked out.
On the way, Hu Fei asked, "When are we going to take revenge?"
I was taken aback, unsure how to answer for a moment, so I asked in return, "When do you plan to?"
Hu Fei said, "The sooner the better."
Going back for revenge is a given. No matter what, I don't want these people to live anymore. Whether it's for my own anger or for the innocent people who died, they all deserve to die.
I said, "No rush. We don't have any weapons right now. Let's find a way to get some, then we'll storm in. We'll observe carefully, plan our attack, and maybe launch a surprise attack. If we're lucky, we can wipe them all out."
Hu Fei said, "This is something we can do."
Hu Fei is very familiar with this area, after all, his studio is located nearby, and he knows all the large supermarkets, small shops and other places around here.
After walking north for about half an hour, we arrived at the outside of a chain supermarket.
The supermarket shelves were in disarray, and four zombies were wandering around inside.
I took out my machete, and Hu Fei took out his axe. He said, "The two on the left are for you, and the two on the right are for me."
“No problem,” we said as we entered the supermarket through the entrance.
Hu Fei walked to the cashier, while I turned around and went straight to the outermost shelf. I tapped the shelf with my machete, and a zombie poked its head out in front of me.
I strolled around at a leisurely pace, took a carton of milk from the shelf, checked the date, and saw that it was still within its shelf life. So I tore off the straw, punctured the plastic film, and slowly began to drink.
The zombie came up to me, hissing. I raised my knife and chopped it on the head. The zombie stopped breathing and collapsed to the ground.
I was leisurely walking past the shelf, sipping my milk, when suddenly a zombie rushed out from the other side of the shelf, startling me so much that I dropped the milk in my hand.
Luckily I walked slowly, otherwise it would have pounced on me.
"Why haven't you solved it yet?" Hu Fei shouted from the premiere stage.
I turned to look at him and said, "I was drinking milk, and this guy ruined it, damn it."
I walked up to the zombie, chopped it down with my knife, and the zombie's head split in two.
We ignored the dead zombies, opened our backpacks, and started stuffing in everything edible that was left in the supermarket.
We had quite a lot of stuff, so both of our backpacks were full. This should be enough for the four of us to eat for three or four days.
"Let's go check the warehouse," Hu Fei said, holding a bunch of keys.
He took the keys from under the premiere stage.
I followed behind him and said, "Be careful, what if the warehouse is full of zombies?"
Hu Fei laughed and said, "If there were zombies, the warehouse wouldn't be so quiet!"
As he spoke, he inserted the key into the warehouse keyhole, turned it, and the warehouse door opened.
As soon as it was opened, a disgusting, putrid stench wafted out.
We both looked terrible.
The warehouse wasn't dark, but it was quite dusty.
We both took a step back, letting the light behind us enter the warehouse. Instantly, we saw what was inside.
On the warehouse floor lay two corpses, a man and a woman, completely naked, their bodies long since decomposed.
Upon seeing this scene, neither Hu Fei nor I had any intention of going in.
The couple were probably having an affair in the warehouse when they were inexplicably locked inside, and after that, no one knows what happened to them.
Hu Fei closed the door and said, "Let's go."
We turned and left the supermarket, continuing north. Not far ahead, Hu Fei pointed to a green store not far away and said, "That's the pharmacy over there."
"Let's go take a look."
We arrived at the pharmacy. I glanced at the car parked in front of the pharmacy. The car was covered in dust, but the inside was clean.
As I looked at the pharmacy, I had a feeling that someone was inside!
Thinking about this, I suddenly remembered what Fei Lichao said to me last night about intuition. Could this be what they call intuition?
