Chapter 205 Going Home

(This should be the fourth update today)

The remaining four people hid very well and didn't dare to come out at all.

The three of us didn't rush to attack. What if the other side had guns? If we attacked rashly, wouldn't we get hurt?

Therefore, we must ensure that nothing goes wrong.

At that moment, gunshots rang out again from the second floor, many, many gunshots.

However, the gunshots appeared quickly and disappeared just as quickly, and before long, the second floor returned to calm.

I glanced at the second floor, but I couldn't see anything and had no idea what was going on up there.

"Dr. Lu, be careful!" Wang Hao suddenly shouted.

My nerves tensed instantly. I looked ahead and saw a guy hiding behind the car suddenly pop out, a pistol in his hand, the black muzzle pointed at me, and he fired a shot without hesitation.

It was too late to dodge!

At that moment, Wang Hao, who was very close to me, rushed over and shoved me aside. The bullet hit him directly, and after a scream, he fell to the ground, blood flowing down his body.

"Wang Hao!" I exclaimed in surprise. I immediately fired at the guy behind the car, but he hid after firing one shot, so I couldn't hit him at all.

"Lu Xiaonan, you to the left and I to the right, flank him!" Hu Fei shouted to me.

I looked back at Wang Hao, who had been shot in the eye, and saw his ferocious expression. He was still alive!

I gritted my teeth and quickly joined Hu Fei in flanking the guy with the gun. I ran to the left side of the car, and Hu Fei was on the right; together we approached and surrounded him.

However, just as we approached the front of the car, a gunshot suddenly rang out from the second-floor window, startling us.

After the gunshot, the guy in the front of the car collapsed to the ground, blood flowing from his head; he was clearly dead.

I looked up and saw Fei Lichao standing at the window, firing a shot down below.

I breathed a sigh of relief and turned to chase after the other three people.

The other three were unarmed. When they realized the situation was bad, they tried to run away, but this exposed them. Hu Fei and I each killed one of them, and Fei Lichao, who was upstairs, killed another one for us.

In short, it started quickly and ended quickly.

Once the situation here was resolved, Sun Zichen and the others ran out of the building across the street.

I rushed to Wang Hao's side and took a closer look. I saw that he was injured on his arm and immediately breathed a sigh of relief.

"Wang Hao! Wang Hao, how are you!" Sun Zichen ran over and asked anxiously.

Wang Hao, his face contorted in pain, said, "It's nothing, just a minor injury."

"Do you have gauze for stitching?" I asked.

Sun Zichen said, "I have a first-aid kit!"

I exclaimed with delight, "That's even better!"

I took the first aid kit, opened it, and looked inside. It had everything I needed; it was very comprehensive.

I ripped open the clothes covering his arm and saw the somewhat gruesome wound. A bullet had hit his arm, penetrating through it.

It's exactly the same as the gunshot wound on my calf back then.

I took out some disinfectant alcohol from the first aid kit to disinfect his wound. At that moment, Wang Hao hissed and his face contorted in pain.

I glanced at his face and asked, "Do you have a cigarette?"

"Yes." Sun Zichen took it out and handed it to me.

I said, "Give it to him, let him smoke, and distract him."

"Oh, oh." Sun Zichen put the cigarette into Wang Hao's mouth, then took out a lighter and lit it for him.

Wang Hao was in considerable pain; after lighting his cigarette, he took a deep drag.

"Bear with it, it'll hurt more later."

After I finished speaking, I started treating his wound. Fortunately, the wound was small, making it easy to clean. I couldn't do a thorough cleaning right now, so I just cleaned the wound quickly and roughly, and then started suturing it.

This guy finished his cigarette in three puffs, and then just stood there holding it in, not daring to shout.

I almost laughed, and said, "If it hurts, just yell it out."

Wang Hao endured it and said, "No way, I'm a man!"

"..."

After stitching it up, I applied medicine, wrapped it with gauze, and then used a triangular bandage to suspend his arm across his chest. That was it.

I said, "It's alright now. Remember not to get the wound wet when you get back. Also, pay attention to your diet; keep it light and avoid smoking and alcohol."

Wang Hao was stunned. "Then what was with the smoking earlier?"

I chuckled and said, "You look so uncomfortable, I'm just trying to distract you. Take some anti-inflammatory medicine when you get back, as long as you don't get an infection, you'll be fine."

Sun Zichen laughed and said, "Luckily, Dr. Lu was here, otherwise we wouldn't know what to do."

I gave a wry smile, looked up, and saw Fei Lichao waving at me, saying, "Are you done yet? I've been waiting here forever!"

Hu Fei laughed and said, "Have your chrysanthemums withered?"

"roll!"

Our group went up to the second floor.

Upon arriving at the top of the stairs, I saw a corpse. After reaching the second floor, I saw four or five more corpses, including the body of the archer, Sister Yu.

These people all died from headshots; their deaths were swift and decisive.

On the second floor, besides the dead, there are two other people still alive.

One is Huo Cheng, and the other is Li Ming.

When Sister Jing saw us come up, she came to my side, took a cell phone out of her pocket and handed it to me, "Xiaonan, this is your cell phone."

"Thank you, Sister Jing."

When I picked up the phone, I noticed a crack in one corner of the screen. I turned it on and saw that it still worked normally. Then I checked the photos in the album and found that nothing was missing, which put my mind at ease.
