(Third update is here, everyone come and check it out)
The four high school students seemed indignant. One of the boys looked up, glared at me, and said, "We didn't do it on purpose! We were just bored in the car, so what? Nobody died! If I didn't have a knife, I would have killed those two zombies already!"
The guy who's talking is the one who pushed the girl towards the zombies to save his own life. I think his name is Fan Bin.
After he said that, I grabbed his coat and glared at him, saying, "So you're really capable, huh?"
Fan Bin panicked the moment I grabbed him.
Old Fu, who was standing to the side, couldn't stand it any longer and said, "Young man, I think we should let it go. It's their first offense, they won't do it again."
I ignored the old man, stared at Fan Bin in front of me, and said to Sun Zichen behind me, "Sun Zichen, get this old man into the car. He has no right to speak here!"
Sun Zichen raised an eyebrow and helped Fu Jianjun, who was reluctant to get in the car, into the van.
At this moment, everyone got off the bus. Fei Lichao was alert to his surroundings. Zhang Zhihao and Sister Jing were watching me scold people, but neither of them came up to stop me.
I grabbed Fan Bin's coat, stretched out my hand, and said to Fei Lichao, "Fei Lichao, give me your knife."
"What are you going to do!" Fan Bin asked in a panic.
"I don't want to do anything." After I finished speaking, Fei Lichao handed me his machete, and then I grabbed Fan Bin's coat and walked forward.
"What are you doing? Let me go!" Fan Bin began to resist.
I loosened his coat and punched him in the cheek, making him see stars.
Immediately, I grabbed him by the back of his collar and walked ten meters forward. There were two zombies right in front of the broken-down car.
I pushed him to the side of the car, then threw down the machete with a clatter, saying, "You think you're so capable? Didn't you say you could kill zombies? Didn't you say you needed a knife? Here's your knife! There are two zombies right in front of you, go and kill them for me!"
Fan Bin lay on the car, turned his head to look at the zombies not far in front of the car, his face full of fear, and he didn't dare to get on.
I said coldly, "Let me tell you, if you don't kill those two zombies today, I'll kill you."
Fan Bin stared at the knife on the ground, completely at a loss for what to do. Finally, he looked at me, his eyes filled with grievance, and shook his head, saying, "I don't want to die! I don't want to go and die!"
"Pick up the knife!" I yelled.
Fan Bin lay prone on the car, the two zombies in front of him constantly approaching, and he kept backing away.
I kicked him in the waist, and Fan Bin slipped and fell to the ground. At that moment, a zombie in front of him roared and pounced. Ignoring the pain, he quickly retreated.
He kept shouting and yelling, looking terrified like a man.
I grabbed his coat to prevent him from escaping, kicked away an approaching zombie, and then decisively fired two shots. Both zombies fell to the ground dead.
I shoved him again, and he landed on top of the zombie corpse.
"Ah!" Even though the zombie was dead, he still couldn't face it. When he touched the blood flowing from the zombie's body, he jumped up and down in fright, constantly wiping his hands, and even took off his dirty coat and threw it on the ground.
He didn't dare to approach me, and tried to run back to the car by circling around me, but was stopped by Fei Lichao.
I picked up the knife from the ground, walked up to them, and said, "You all remember this: if anyone dares to do something this stupid again, I'll kill them, understand?"
Fan Bin was so frightened that he cried and couldn't say a word.
As for the other three, they kept their heads down and didn't dare to look up at all.
"Do you understand!" I roared.
The four men shuddered and said in unison, "Understood, understood."
"Speak louder!" I yelled.
I startled the four of them again, and this time the sound was much louder than before.
"We understand, we understand."
"Get in the car."
The four people didn't dare linger in front of me and promptly got into the car.
My car has broken down and is totaled; it can't be driven anymore.
So I got into the pickup truck behind and sat in the back with Zhang Zhihao.
Besides the two of us, there were quite a few supplies in the carriage, which were the reward Du Xu gave me.
This was something we had agreed upon beforehand. After all, I was helping him take care of his people, so it wouldn't be right for him not to give me some compensation.
Nothing unexpected happened on the rest of the journey; it was very quiet the whole way.
About twenty minutes later, we arrived at the school.
The school remained deserted; there were no zombies, and no one else.
When we arrived at the dormitory entrance, after we all got off the car, I stood on the stairs in front of the dormitory, facing the ten people below, as well as Zhang Zhihao and the others.
"Come with me into the meeting room."
After I finished speaking, I turned around and went to the conference room, with Fei Lichao and Sister Jing following behind me.
Zhang Zhihao and his group knew where the meeting room was, so they found it easily. As for the other ten people, they quickly followed.
After everyone had entered the conference room, I glanced at them.
Looking at the dozen or so people in the conference room, I felt for a moment as if I had returned to the past.
But things are not the same as before.
I glanced at Zhang Zhihao and told him to come up.
I said, "You ten people just arrived here today. I won't go into details about what happened earlier, but there are some things I need to make clear to you."
