The emergency room nowadays is like a cage.
I leaned against the corner of the wall, in front of me were the girl and the policeman. The policeman was obviously dead, and the girl was eating his flesh!
The scene was extremely cruel.
As for the other patients, I looked around and saw that they were all gathered at the door, trying to leave, but they couldn't leave at all.
Immediately afterwards, I saw many more people collapse and then begin to convulse.
Soon, black veins will appear on their necks.
After the convulsions stopped, they seemed to be dead, but after a short while, they opened their eyes again and began to pounce on other people, just like the girl from before.
All of this happened extremely quickly.

In that instant, all the patients turned into... monsters.

The entire emergency room is now in complete chaos; many monsters have appeared, and many people have died.
And those monsters are eating people!
"Lu Xiaonan, what the hell are you doing there! Get over here right now!"
Suddenly, Zhou Yang's voice came from the office door not far away.
I turned my head and immediately saw him standing in the office, waving at me.
But I didn't dare to move at all, because there was such a monster in front of me!
"Damn it!" Zhou Yang also saw what was happening on my side, cursed, and ran out of the office. He ran straight to me, grabbed my white coat, and ran back.
The girl who was eating people suddenly noticed me and pounced on me.
Luckily, Zhou Yang pulled me away quickly, and the girl missed!
But she clearly didn't give up. She turned around and followed me, drawn by my voice.
A moment later, we rushed into the office and slammed the door shut!
Then, the monster girl who had been chasing me slammed hard against the door, which startled me.

I shook my head to indicate that I was fine, breathed a sigh of relief, and sat down on the office floor, trembling with fear.
After I came to my senses, I looked around carefully and realized that there were only five people in the office, including myself.
Besides Zhou Yang and me, Dr. Zhang was also in the office, his face pale, seemingly quite frightened.
The remaining two were a young couple, both looking terrified, much like me.
Zhou Yang was also quite frightened and was still leaning against the door, not yet recovered.
I sat on the floor and could clearly hear all sorts of screams outside the office door. Although I really wanted to help, I couldn't overcome my fear.
Everything that just happened happened so fast; those infected with the Erin virus seemed to have turned into...man-eating monsters in an instant!

I climbed to the window and cautiously peered outside. I found that the outside was filled with wandering monsters, and there didn't seem to be a single living person.
Blood flowed like a river and corpses piled up on the emergency room floor.
I closed my eyes, unable to look any longer.
"What exactly is going on?" Zhou Yang, who was sitting on the ground, suddenly asked.
Dr. Zhang shook his head and said, "I don't know. There's no mention of this in the reports about the Erin virus."
Hearing this, I suddenly realized that the people from the CDC hadn't come! When I called earlier, they said they would arrive in ten minutes, but now more than half an hour has passed, and the people from the CDC still haven't shown up.

Suddenly, Zhou Yang's phone rang, startling everyone in the office.
