Chapter 32 For Revenge

...

Aww!

When I regained consciousness, I felt like my whole body was about to fall apart.

I never imagined I was still alive.

The gunshot wound on my left leg was still there, and the dagger was stuck in my thigh.

I swallowed hard, trying to regain my senses. I tried to get up by bracing myself on the ground with my hands, but the scene before me shocked and terrified me.

Aww!

Qian Cheng opened his mouth and roared, the black veins on his neck spreading to his face.

He lay there in front of me, baring his teeth and brandishing his arms. If there hadn't been a frame blocking his arms, he probably would have devoured me already!

I closed my eyes to avoid looking at him, turned over, leaned against the corner, glanced at the situation outside the door, and breathed a sigh of relief when I saw no monster.

I swallowed hard; the pain in my back persisted.

"Thank goodness for the bulletproof vest." I thought to myself with relief.

If Pu Weichao hadn't made me wear a bulletproof vest before we left, I probably would have been dead from those two shots!

After stopping the bleeding from my left leg wound, I rested for a long time until the wound on my back had subsided considerably. Then I stared at the dagger stuck in my thigh, feeling very distressed.

But no matter how distressed you are, you have to get out of it.

I took a deep breath, pulled over the backpack next to me, and took out alcohol iodine, gauze bandages, and stitches. At the same time, I put my clothes in my mouth.

"I never imagined I'd be treating this kind of wound myself one day!"

I gave a wry smile, then tore open the pant leg next to the wound and put a bandage on my thigh to stop the bleeding.

I bit my clothes, gripped the dagger in my hand, and prepared to pull it out. Luckily, the dagger wasn't stuck too deep and didn't damage my carotid artery. If it had, I would have been basically beyond saving.

I took a deep breath, gripped the dagger and started to exert force, but I couldn't take it anymore, it hurt so much!

In that instant, my forehead was covered in cold sweat.

Ultimately, on my first attempt, I couldn't pull it out.

It hurts so much!

Aww!

Qian Cheng, standing to the side, was drooling with his mouth open, clearly wanting to eat me.

I released the dagger, stared at him, feeling helpless.

Qian Cheng bared his teeth and claws, lying on the ground, his feet rubbing against his back, trying to get closer to me, but the frame was blocking his way, and he couldn't get through.

However, what happened next was completely unexpected.

Qian Cheng's feet kept rubbing against the back, and his body bent up. As soon as he did, good heavens, he pulled his arms back and then crawled out from behind the shelf.

I glared at him, cursing inwardly, "You're kidding me!"

I groped around, trying to find my axe, but found it was right under my heels, out of my reach!

Aww!

Qian Cheng's head was getting closer and closer. I estimated that he would bite me in two more seconds. Given my current condition, I couldn't move my body at all.

I was at a loss and couldn't think of any way to deal with him.

Immediately, my eyes narrowed, and I stared blankly at the dagger on my thigh.

"Damn it! So be it, I'll just die!"

I gritted my teeth, reached for the dagger, and ignored the pain! Even pain was better than death!

Whoosh! I drew my dagger, widened my eyes, and thrust it into Qian Cheng's temple with a backhand motion!

Qian Cheng's head drooped; he was completely dead!
