"Ouch!" he cried out in pain.

I smiled slightly, touched his ankle, and asked, "Zhang Zhihao, right? You look like a college student?"

"Yes, I am a college student, a freshman this year." Zhang Zhihao nodded.

"I'm asking you, is your ankle still very painful?" I asked.

"Yes, it hurts a lot." Zhang Zhihao nodded, his face pale.

"What's wrong? Didn't he dislocate his ankle? Why is he still in pain?" the man behind me, who was holding a knife to my neck, asked in confusion.

I ignored him, took out a medicated plaster from my backpack, and said, "It's nothing serious, just a tendon strain. Put on a plaster, rest for a few days, and you'll be fine. But don't walk around for the next couple of days."

I applied the medicated plaster to Zhang Zhihao and then let him continue lying down.

After doing all this, I stood up, turned to face the man with the knife, and said, "Now you believe me, right?"

The man with the knife paused, his expression turning serious. He removed the knife from my neck and said, "Hmm, I can trust you."

I breathed a sigh of relief.

"I could even let you stay here, but... you have to answer a few questions for me."

I stared at him, glanced at the people around me. Staying here was indeed an attractive option, but if I stayed here, how would I find Wu Shuang and the others?

For a moment, I hesitated, but I still asked, "What's the problem?"
