Just as everyone was wondering, Yan Zhengfeng asked, "What are you trying to say by saying this?"
I shook my head: "I didn't mean to explain anything. I just want to tell you that I would not harm innocent children. I'm not a serial killer, I'm just a doctor. You just heard Fei Lichao's explanation. If you still don't believe me, I have no objection. However, I hope you can think carefully about the path we need to take next."
"If the safe zone really exists, that would be great. We can deal with our problems after we get there. After all, nobody knows what will happen on the way. We might all die."
Yan Zhengfeng stared at me and asked, "Aren't you afraid I'll kill you on the way?"
I smiled slightly, and suddenly Wu Shuang came to mind, though I don't know why.
"I'm afraid, of course I'm afraid, but I believe I can gain your trust. But I'm not a saint either. If you really want to kill me, I don't mind killing you too." I said calmly.

I now understand that relying on others is only a temporary way to survive; only by relying on myself can I truly live.
Pu Weichao seemed flustered after hearing what I said and said awkwardly, "Well, we're here to resolve the issue, not to escalate the conflict."
Yan Zhengfeng seemed to have no intention of listening to Pu Weichao continue. He stood up from the stool and said, "The problem has been solved. I'm leaving now. I'll go check around for zombies. Call me when we set off tomorrow."
"Huh?" Pu Weichao asked in surprise, what was resolved?
I sat on the stool and watched the other person's departing figure. I breathed a sigh of relief, thinking that Yan Zhengfeng must have understood as well.
"What's going on?" Pu Weichao looked completely bewildered.
