Out of gas!
That's a problem!
The monsters following behind have caught up, and the car is out of gas—this is absolutely a crazy situation.
Although we just turned the corner and left the monsters behind us by twenty meters, if they turn the corner and catch up, we're all doomed!

Just then, gunshots rang out behind me, and the monster that lunged at me was instantly killed.
Then, gunshots rang out continuously. Without even looking, I knew that Fei Lichao and Yan Zhengfeng were covering me from behind.
Without a second thought, I dashed past Zhong Linxuan to his sister, Zhong Linyun, scooped her up in my arms, and ran back. As I held Zhong Linyun, I was surprised that the surrounding monsters didn't pounce on me! But I couldn't worry about that now, I had to run!
Seeing this, Zhong Linxuan breathed a sigh of relief and stopped to wait for me.
"Don't stop, run!" I yelled at him. There are monsters all around here; stopping like this would be suicide!
After Zhong Linxuan realized what was happening, he tried to run away, but at that moment, a monster pounced on his back and bit down hard on his neck.

A gunshot rang out, and the monster behind Zhong Linxuan was killed instantly by a headshot. Zhong Linxuan clutched his neck, still shaken.
"Run!" I breathed a sigh of relief and ran to Zhong Linxuan's side, urging him to escape quickly.
"Xiaonan, watch out behind you!"
At this moment, Pu Weichao, who had already hidden inside the fast food restaurant, shouted.
I didn't dare look back. I kicked Zhong Linxuan away from me, and the monster behind me darted between us in an instant. Its speed was unimaginable. Staring at the monster, all the hairs on my body stood on end.
If Pu Weichao hadn't reminded us, Zhong Linxuan and I probably would have been tackled by this monster.
