Chapter 81 Killed him with my own hands

I don't know what the future holds, I just hope we're still alive.

...

There is more than one door to the kitchen.

The door we came in through led to an alley next to the hotel, which was basically a place where kitchen waste was piled up.

After resting for about two hours, Li Qiming's pale face regained some color, but it was still not as good as before.

After all, he lost an arm and bled so much; it will probably take a long time for him to fully recover.

He's basically out of strength right now, and it's unrealistic for him to walk back on his own, but it's also inconvenient to have someone carry him.

We can't just leave him here alone, can we?

That's even less realistic.

It seems I'll have no choice but to carry it on my back.

How are we going to get back later?

While I was thinking about this, Li Qiming sat down next to me and asked me a question.

“I’ll carry you back the way we came. It took us two hours to get here, but it should only take about an hour to get back,” I said.

"You want me to take it? Can you handle it for an hour?" Li Qiming asked, then looked at the other three, "Should we ask them for help?"

I glanced at the three celebrities and shook my head, saying, "I'm not comfortable with that."

I still vividly remember how cowardly those three guys were. How could I possibly hand Li Qiming over to them?

"Okay, I'm worried too."

After hearing our conversation, the three celebrities were speechless, but dared not say anything.

Li Qiming and I now know the identities of these three people.

The man's name is Li Jiaming, he is thirty years old, and can be considered a top-tier actor in China. He has been involved in scandals with many actresses. His acting skills are not very good, but his salary is quite high.

The woman with the pure and innocent appearance is named Zhou Qingya. She is 29 years old, has formal training, and studied at a European art academy. She has excellent acting skills, but as for her character, that remains to be seen.

The woman with the stunning figure is named Yun Lan. She is thirty years old and started as a host. She had no reputation before, but later rose to fame by relying on her bust size, and her net worth is comparable to that of a top-tier celebrity.

But now, the three of them are just ordinary people in our eyes.

As for the middle-aged fat man who had died, his name was Ning Longhai, and he was a director. I didn't recognize him before, but now that I think about it, his appearance seems quite familiar, so I thought of Ning Longhai, this director with a bad reputation.

"I... I think I have a way to get out of here."

Just when Li Qiming and I were at our wits' end, the stunning Yunlan spoke up.

I looked at her, and her eyes darted away; she was terrified of me.

"Tell me about it," I said.

She looked away, avoiding my eyes, and said, "Yes, there's a car outside the hotel entrance. The door looks open, and there should be a key inside."

Are you sure?

"I guess so," she said softly.

I stared at her beautiful face and said, "You should know what will happen if you lie to me."

"I... I wouldn't dare lie to you," Yunlan said cautiously.

I stared at her, while Li Qiming, standing beside me, seemed a little confused about what was going on.

I finally said, "Alright, I'll go out and take a look first. If what you're saying is true, I can let the three of you leave with me."

The three remained silent, but their eyes held a hint of relief.

I couldn't be bothered with them, so I told Li Qiming to wait there. I took the knife and went to the kitchen door by myself, opened the door and glanced at the situation outside.

Outside was a large restaurant, and the monster's roar came from inside.

I roughly counted about seven monsters in the restaurant, but they were all far apart, and there were many round and square tables blocking their way, so it wouldn't be easy for them to get over.

I quietly went out the door, closed the kitchen door, then crouched down and carefully walked into the dining room.

Then, without alerting the monsters, they tiptoed to the restaurant exit.

The restaurant's exit is an open door, leading directly to the hotel's first-floor lobby.

I successfully made my way to the lobby on the first floor by leaning against the wall.

I was surprised as soon as I walked in.

Because there wasn't a single monster in the entire hall, only some corpses on the ground and dried blood.

It's likely that after the cataclysm, the monsters in the hotel lobby were all drawn away by the outside situation, which is why there are no monsters in the hotel lobby.

"This is truly a stroke of luck!" I thought to myself with great joy, but I dared not let my guard down. I crouched down and darted into the lobby. A moment later, I saw the black sedan outside the hotel entrance.

The car was a Mercedes, and it looked quite high-end. The front door was open, and there were no monsters inside.

However, there were two monsters next to the car.

I quietly walked over and tapped the ground twice with my machete.

The two monsters beside the car turned around and swayed towards me. As soon as they entered the doorway, I attacked instantly, killing them both with a single slash.

Stepping over the two corpses, I came to the car door and was about to stick my head in to take a look.

"Aww!"

A monster pounced from the back seat of the car, its hands almost hitting my head.

Luckily, I reacted quickly and pulled my head back in time.

Upon closer inspection, I discovered a little girl monster inside the back door. She had no visible wounds, and I had no idea how she died. Could it have been a natural occurrence?

Shaking off the thoughts in my head, I opened the back seat door of the car.

The little girl jumped out of the back seat, and I plunged a knife into the back of her head. The little monster died instantly.

After looking around and making sure it was safe, I got into the car. I glanced at the driver's seat and found that this Mercedes didn't need a key; there was only a start button. I pressed it, and the car started instantly, the engine roaring to life.

I exclaimed in surprise, and to avoid attracting other monsters, I pressed the button again, and the car turned off.

...

A few minutes later, all five of us got in the car and set off.

The destination was naturally a fast food restaurant.

However, the road ahead was not smooth, as there were many monsters roaming the road, and running into them would inevitably cause problems, so many times they had to go around them.

The people in the car barely uttered a word, and the journey was eerily quiet.

Li Qiming could only rest because of his broken hand. As for the three people in the back row, they didn't dare to speak because they were afraid of me.

I don't have any objection to this, since we're not familiar with each other anyway.

As long as I don't do anything dangerous, I basically don't care.

After driving around for about an hour, around 3 p.m., we returned to the entrance of the original fast food restaurant.

Pickup trucks were still running outside the fast food restaurant. When I drove up, I saw Fei Lichao come out with a gun.

He seemed very wary of the arrival of strangers.

However, when he saw it was me through the car window, his expression relaxed.

As soon as I got out of the car, he asked me, "Did you find it?"

I frowned and said, "Let's not talk about that now, something happened to Li Qiming."

"What!"
