The journey that followed was not smooth.
Hangzhou is a large city with a large population, which also leads to a large number of monsters.
Pu Weichao sat in the passenger seat of the pickup truck, driving along the predetermined route.

After a half-hour detour, we finally got onto the wide provincial highway.
The cars on the provincial highway were in disarray, and there were many monsters lurking around. I heard that the pickup trucks in front of me had run over quite a few monsters, and occasionally I would run over some of the corpses. In short, the journey was far from peaceful.
It's almost six o'clock now.
The sky was completely dark. Because there were no streetlights, the whole world looked pitch black, with only a crescent moon and a sky full of stars in the sky.
"Dad, look, look! There are so many stars!"
In the back seat of the car, Li Qiming's son, Li Dong, pointed to the night sky outside the car window and shouted excitedly.
Only children can be happy in this kind of environment.
The road ahead was not easy to travel, and the pickup truck slowed down.
Ten minutes later, the pickup truck even stopped.
The two cars behind us also stopped, their headlights on, illuminating the road ahead. It was unclear why the pickup truck had stopped at that moment.
A moment later, I saw Pu Weichao and Shen Dian get out of the pickup truck ahead.
I picked up the machete next to me and said, "I'll go down and take a look. You all stay in the car and don't get out."
I opened the car door and was about to get out when I heard a roar coming from below. I looked down and saw the head of a monster, its mouth open, showing off its teeth.
I plunged the knife into its head, got out of the car, and saw Fei Lichao coming from behind. We then went up to it together.
He asked, "Why did you stop?"
Pu Weichao pointed to the situation in front of the pickup truck and said with a troubled expression, "You can see for yourselves."
Looking ahead through the headlights of the pickup truck, we found that the provincial highway was blocked by vehicles.
The vehicles were parked haphazardly on the provincial highway, making it impossible for us to pass.
We all fell silent; there was nothing we could do.
Chen Chen asked, "Why don't we turn back and take another route?"
Pu Weichao shook his head, rejecting his idea, and said, "Going back is not realistic. We've been on the provincial highway for almost half an hour, and it will probably take just as long to go back. If we run into those zombies following behind us, wouldn't we be like lambs to the slaughter?"
"Then what should we do?" Chen asked.

Since going back is not feasible, can we continue forward?

Pu Weichao said, "If we can't go back, why don't we just keep going forward?"
"What the hell are you talking about? Can we even walk up there?!" Fei Lichao said irritably.
"Don't rush, let me finish," Pu Weichao said. "Look at the situation ahead. Although there are quite a few cars blocking the road, we just need to clear a path in the middle. It will only take a few cars to push aside, and it will be quick."
I gave a wry smile, because Pu Weichao and I had the exact same idea.
This is the only way we can get out of here quickly.
Furthermore, it was already completely dark, and the longer we stayed here, the more dangerous it would be for us.

We called Yan Zhengfeng and Li Jiaming together, and then the three of them formed a group and started pushing the cart at the front.
The pickup truck's headlights illuminated the area ahead, allowing us to clearly see how many monsters and vehicles were in front of us.
Li Jiaming was in a group with Yan Zhengfeng and Shen Dian, and he didn't dare to stay by my side.
Pu Weichao, Fei Lichao, and I formed a group and started moving the car.
Besides monsters, there were actually quite a few usable items in these vehicles. After discovering this, we took out everything usable from the vehicles, except for killing monsters and pushing the vehicles, and packed it in a backpack.
While pushing the second car, we even found a case of drinks in the trunk of one of the cars, which excited us for a long time.

However, things don't always go smoothly.
For example, Li Jiaming, this guy seems to be very afraid of the monster in the car. Every time he is asked to go up and kill the monster, he has to dawdle for a long time. Moreover, he is not used to being splattered with blood. He even vomited at first.
We were helpless about his behavior, but we didn't blame him. After all, everyone starts out like that. When I was in the hospital, I was also terrified and completely lost.
