Chapter 4 Accidentally Gaining Space

There was a calendar pasted on the shabby wardrobe, with the date shown on it: May 1, 1974.

Wang Xiaolan frowned and complained to herself, "How can this be called a home? It's even worse than where scavengers live. It's dark and gloomy. The only light you can see is a little bit coming in through the cracks in the earthen wall."

In the original owner's memory, their wedding room should be in a newly built house.

A few days after her husband returned to the army, Huang Jinhua drove the original owner to live in the woodshed of the old house.

The original owner's room was occupied by Liu Jinlong.

Wang Xiaolan thought to herself, "Huang Jinhua, you're unlucky to have met me, Wang Xiaolan. I'll teach you a lesson on behalf of the original owner and take back everything that belonged to him."

After all, she is a descendant of a famous family of traditional Chinese medicine in the 21st century. It is difficult to get an appointment with her and her father for medical treatment.

But now, it turned out like this, it was really embarrassing. She changed her mind and thought that being able to survive in this era was better than dying.

Zhaodi walked into the room holding a stack of bedding and sheets.

"Sister-in-law, let me help you change the sheets!"

Wang Xiaolan looked at Zhaodi, who was less than fifteen years old and was busy running around like a little adult. She felt very sorry for him.

"Let me do it, you go and rest."

"Sister-in-law, you are not in good health, let me help you!"

"It's too dirty here, and I'm embarrassed to ask you to clean it up."

"Okay then! We'll take Dabao and Xiaobao out. You take a rest first, and I'll bring you the meal when it's ready."

Wang Xiaolan sat on the edge of the bed and watched the two sisters leave. She then began to tidy up her bed. She first put on the quilt and then lifted the sheets.

The scene under the sheets left her dumbfounded. It was all straw, and the bed board underneath was made up of several old wooden boards of different sizes. It was hard to imagine how the original owner slept here.

She found another file in the messy pile of straw, took it out and opened it. It was the original owner's resume and her family information.

Wang Xiaolan muttered to herself, "This file is very important. I'd better keep it for future use."

As she was arranging the pillows, a bronze mirror slipped out from inside.

She picked up the bronze mirror, turned it over and looked at it in surprise, and couldn't help but blow on it and gently wiped the rust off it.

I thought, "Isn't this just a piece of scrap copper? Yet it's hidden here like a treasure."

A memory of the original owner emerged in his mind. This was something that belonged to the ancestors of the Zhao family. It was said to have a history of thousands of years and was a priceless treasure. It was originally passed on to Zhao Sihai, but because his grandfather hated Huang Jinhua's greed, he gave it to the original owner for safekeeping.

Huang Jinhua has coveted this item for a long time and has repeatedly found excuses to make things difficult for the original owner in an attempt to snatch it away.

Wang Xiaolan suddenly realized that Huang Jinhua was looking for this bronze mirror.

When she looked down again, a magical scene appeared. The place she wiped began to glow, and then she wiped the rest clean.

At this moment, the bronze mirror suddenly became bright, various patterns appeared on it, and suddenly disappeared in the hand.

Wang Xiaolan sat on the edge of the bed in a daze, puzzled. Suddenly, a white light flashed before her eyes, and she instantly entered another space.

In front of me are the familiar hollow doors and windows, the medicinal specimens in the windows are arranged in an orderly manner, and the wall of medicine cabinets is still eye-catching, and the air is filled with the fragrance of Chinese medicine.

Isn't this the Chinese medicine clinic she and her father opened? Why is it so quiet?

She learned from the robot in charge of space management that her father and other staff members had never appeared since her accident.

"Only your information is saved in my system, and you are the only one who can give me orders," said the robot.

"So, you can give me whatever I need?"

"Yes, but the prerequisite is that you punish evil and promote good in that world, and do more good deeds. Only then can this Chinese medicine clinic be upgraded and you can get what you need. You punished Huang Jinhua today, and the clinic has been upgraded to a higher level."

"So that's how it is. It seems God has been kind to me!"

At this moment, Wang Xiaolan's stomach suddenly growled and she swallowed.

The robot brought a cup of hot milk and a piece of bread.

"These are what you left behind before you left."

"I remember these things. They've been there for a long time. They might have passed their expiration date."

"Don't worry, the things here won't go bad."

Suddenly, Zhaodi and Huang Jinhua were heard quarreling outside. Wang Xiaolan put on an acupuncture kit and hurried out of the space.

Huang Jinhua yelled, "Zhaodi, who told you to cook for that bitch alone?"

"Your family is eating, so why can't my sister-in-law eat? She just gave birth, and I can't bear to let her go hungry."

"No, this is mine!"

Huang Jinhua snatched the bowl from Lai Di's hand and threw it heavily to the ground. Then she slapped Da Bao twice, and Da Bao burst into tears.

"Old witch, are you a human being? How could you harm a child?" Zhaodi picked up Dabao who was crying.

Zhaodi angrily said, "Dad, why don't you care about this woman?"

Zhao Sihai just focused on eating and ignored Zhaodi.

Zhaodi picked up the food that Huang Jinhua left for Liu Jinlong and threw it to the ground.

"If you smash it, I'll smash it too, and your son won't be able to eat it either."

Huang Jinhua saw the fried rice scattered all over the floor and started fighting with Zhaodi like crazy.

Wang Xiaolan hurried over and witnessed all this. She snatched the bowl from Zhao Sihai's hand and threw it to the ground.

"Is there any father like you? Your own daughter was beaten like this, but you turned a blind eye."
